I woke up this morning to see that FTMO has now considered me to be their official PRIME TRADER, I'm so emotional right now.
As I mentioned before, I graduated from bronze tier to silver tier to gold tier, and to platinum tier, now I'm an FTMO official PRIME TRADER.

Years of struggles, learning, unlearning, relearning, frustrations, sleepless nights, all have become success today.

See all the requirements and benefits attached to becoming a prime trader. My next ladder is going to be supreme trader.

In simple theory, how to make money from trading is to buy at low and sell at high, follow the trend, the trend is our friend. However trading is not simple. When we think the price in oversold, but sometimes still continue drops. It mean market is unique. although hedge funds trying to betting in oil, but the price drops of course opposite from expectation. Oil price drops again yesterday to 81 level price.

I just want to write here discipline is important, although discipline can't gurantee to success, however no success without discipline.

This was the same reason i lost 3 accounts at a go,
The DD is on equity, not a balance,
Just take time to fully understand how it works,
If you have a floating 500 profit today,
By tomorrow, is then floating goes to BE,
You don loose account be that,
Ordinary person no fit understand, if you no go, you no go know,
It's a small price to pay for success though

Side note: if there is any swing trader in the contest, please come around, let's see if we can talk about our problems and see if we can fix it.

1.Is it psychological or we just don't understand yet how to trade?

2. i think once I had asked @Gabs.o.nfx how he managed it but I don't think I got anything solid. Maybe his years of experience is a huge factor to his success in prop trading.

3. I'd like to know if fellow swing traders here feel "rushed" while trading the account. Like having "a flame up your a$$" while trading.

4. From the picture attached from the mff webpage, the most profitable are day traders. If this is the case,it would serve us good as swing traders to be "more flexible" for us to succeed.

At the close of last week's trading session and suffering heavy losses which dealt with me mentally,I closed my Mt4 app but not without deleting the account so I won't trade it in the coming week.

I'm going to undergo self-evaluation and see how to re-strategize,this time being more malleable.

The goal is not to win an account but to last long in my trading career.

Once upon a time, traders complained capital is the issue. Now we have the capital courtesy prop firm, and man is still not able to make himself proud. Oh the prop firm rules were too strict. strict koh strict ni, they should allow you to trade recklessly so you can blow $200,000 abi. Some of us thinks 5% 0r 10% is too small but the thing is, if they allow 98% of us to hit 100%, infact, do not be surprised that 98% of traders will successfully hit Margin call on $200,000 on a weekly basis.

What happened to me in the market last week is not something to write home about..
with my current state of mind, its very easy to think the market has some beef with me.
how can you not believe the market is hunting your SL when one long candle forms against you immediately you open a position -- the long candle always takes the opposite direction of ur trade. and it will only stop and retrace back immediately only when it hits your SL... the moment it hits SL it retrace swiftly and never return back there again..
the worst part is that when its sure it has kicked you out of the trade it will now go on and do exactly as you anticipated..
I took 8 different trades (different pairs) and this same thing happened in all of the trade I took.

DAMN!!! I just had to talk about this to feel relieved..
