Elosky20: finally Buhari was right when he said some nigerians are criminals how can somebody be stealing and diverting food given for children, "Ori nni nwa ijiji be kwa unu na onu" . I swear, corruption is in every facet of life. An average nigerian does not mean well for his neighbour. |

Lucious lyon to frank gathers " you want to own the street while I wish to own the world". Tyrion lannister to john snow " the moment you accept who you are then people will not used it against you". My best quote even though I have forgotten the title of the movie is " THE CEILING IS ONLY A GLASS TIl YOU BREAK IT" |

Bin3: I just watch it finish now n bcs of the drama the show didnt end well.am a big fan of olamide but the way he behave at the headies just made me to dislike him, what is he feeling like? Is he d only person in the industry or what?.d most annoying part was when he threw d mic on the floor.a car that he can afford to buy why did he behave that way,he just draw the line btw the Mavins n Ybln(n i notice that adekunle gold n dija are in good term).Don jazzy proved mature(greetings to him) he showed that the award shouldnt be d 1 to destroy d industry,he was calm but olamide brought up the anger in him (but he didnt throw d mic away like olamide to show how mature he is).i notice something was wrong btw them when olamide did his concert n non of d Mavins was there.something tells me that either olamide or someone close to him is a nairalander if am right pls pass this msg to olamide"olamide u really fall my hand i will advice u to go n apologies to the mavins bcs they dont deserve what u did on stage n dont forget don jazzy is ur senior in the industry n a very calm guy which u know.i watch the video u feature don jazzy in n its one of my best so far n both of u were good there, pls olamide put things back in order, bcs u hv blow doesnt mean u hv made it even the lil kesh u are supporting might turn his back on u 2mao if things gets bad 4 u n am 100% sure don jaz wouldnt hv behave that way if it was lil kesh that won".assuming am d leader of d headies this drama is enough to put a stop to the award program. Bro, y should olamide apologize to mavins. The moment jazzy mentioned olamide's name, he lost his respect. Mind u, dis beef might be d end of d famous"Don Jazzy". He beta do d needful before d street finish him |
Christianity Etc › Re: 7 Things The Bible Forbids, But We Do Anyway by femoyor: 1:33pm On Dec 27, 2015 |
danidee10: No he did not condemn it....but have u forgotten that the old testament was given to the Israelite's not christians...christianity didn't exist then, so what it means by jesus christ fulfilling the law is that he came as an israelite and obeyed the law and now we are bound by the laws he left behind for us which is to love God with all your heart and mind and love your neighbour as you love yourself, this dosen't mean the old testament is irrelevant it can also serve as a guide....but we're not bound by it, if not all will God reject the souls of female evangelists that preached (talked) in church Does that mean the tithe part is for isrealite and not xtians. Why do we still pay tithe in our church today. The truth is that we only use the part of bible that we need and forget the rest |

liberty300: Seriously, is this the terms an "elder states man" should be using?
This just says tinubu is fashola's godfather
Imagine if someone like Sullivan chime was ministers of works? The governor that turned a least important state to the 3rd best state in Nigeria? That made enugu the only Nigerian state to be mentioned in the 100 best performing states in the world?..not even Lagos was mentioned?
Just imagine...but politics won't let us now. We'd rather die Is it the enugu I know. Apart from enugu east, north and south with nsukka, the others are villages. If development is measured by 4 local government out of 17 then we are finished. |

aspirebig: What about NEPA, who will fine them for ripping Nigerians off from time immemorial.
We still buy fuel even at N200 to N250 per litre, (oil producing country indeed, in Late Fela voice "suffering and smiling" , we buy generator, service the generator, buy inverters, buy the batteries, pay for installation, buy solar too and install it. We still pay NEPA bills....what a country? Hypocrisy everywhere.
People pay for services not rendered and the citizens are compelled to pay, either on postpaid or prepaid platform. NEPA make billions monthly and the money ends partly in private hands. Same with the old Nitel.....or are they SA companies too?
We are sending wrong signals to the international bodies, potential foreign investors and world at large. Nigeria is over 55 years and grossly undeveloped. So Nigerians alone cannot develop Nigeria, we need other people just as they need us. You can fine, nobody is saying you can't, but not this huge amount?
Even America, I mean America has alot of China investments in their country. They never fine them $1b, with all their infrastructures o, like constant light, good roads, security, friendly government policies, no community issues o, like Omonile while building a base station, or a customer touch points, no area boys, no multiple taxation, etc. Doing business in Nigeria is not that easy, coupled with all the issues on ground before. It is easy to stay in the comfort of your room and on your laptop and criticise others.
The same Nigerians will ignore the calls or sms to go and register their lines. Nobody blames NCC for that.
See what happened in BVN recently, most people refused to comply till last minute,. Why has CBN not fined the banks thst defaulted in blocking people accounts? Or are fraudsters, kidnappers, looters of national treasury etc using banks in the moon and sky? They use our banks, the same banks like everyone. A popular new generation bank sent emails to all their customers today on BVN, both those that have registered and those who have not.
Where is all the refunded Abacha loot? Nigerians should be asking questions on these things.
Even if you give Nigeria government $10b today, 97% or more of the money will end in private individuals account. So most people are happy about the fine, like they share out of it. Kobo, you won't see.
Where is all the Internally Generated Revenues (IGR) going into both states and federal?
The biggest problem in Nigeria is Nigerians.Until we change our mindset, no "change" will take place.
MTN remains the best network, not only in Nigeria but across Africa. Take it or leave it. Put sentiments aside and just be objective.
So the other networks are saints? Story. It is a pity that its because of pple like u dat nigeria will forever remain where it is. U can not compare bvn with sim registration. All banks put restriction on pple account from friday eve wen d deadline elapsed meaning dey all complied. Pple like u just want outsider to disgrace our country and still cum back and say buhari is a bigot. I pity u and ur kind |

To the best of my knowledge, there are outlets overseas where it can be done. But if one did not do d BVN, one can still do it from monday. |
