FamilyRe: Shocking: Mother & Daughter Give Birth Same Week, For The Same Man by Feraz(m): 10:47pm On Apr 08, 2015
LMAO!!! Reminds me of this joke:
Two men, Tito and Eddie met at the bus stop and started a conversation. Eddie kept complaining of family problems and Tito said, "You think you have family problems? Listen to my situation.

A few years ago, I met a young widow with a grown up daughter and we got married. Later, my father married my step daughter. That made my step daughter, my step mother and my father became my step son. Also, my wife became mother-in-law of her father-in-law.

Then the daughter of my wife, my step mother had a son. The boy was my half brother because he was my father's son but he was also the son of my wife's daughter which made him my wife's grandson. That made me the grandfather of my half brother.

This was nothing until my wife and I had a son. Now, the half-sister of my son, my step mother is the grandmother. This made my father the brother-in-law of my child whose step-sister is my father's wife. I am my step mother's brother-in-law, my wife is her own child's aunt, my son is my father's nephew and I'm my own grandfather. And you think you have a family problem?
Chei!!! grin grin

You people are very hateful. God forbid bad thing. If I keep visiting this section I may even turn tribalist too because of the hate all of you are spreading around.

Is it too complex to understand that people migrate to regions which have ports that encourage trade?
Are you all too dumb to not understand what influences migration?
Who am I kidding? How will ignorant mofos like you u deer stand such things. If it doesn't have anything to do with mindless hate,it is too complex for y'all.
What an asinine group of human beings all of you are. low-life and hateful. The bunch of you disgust me beyond words.

And pls desist from rubbing mud on others from your region who do not share your hateful mind sets.
My sister, na so I shoooock when Tallesty1 write something. The guy been use one analogy about one Texas man wee den thief hin horse. I come dey reason say "even tallesty"? the hate don dey grow oh. . .

Topic, I have asked numerous persons and I am yet to get an answer: have you gone there to do something and you were chased out? Have you bought a land, built a house and it was taken from you? Have you ever tried to establish a source of livelihood there and were denied? In my hometown, a man I thought was Igbo when growing up was actually a Ghanaian. This guy has lived there for years, speaks our language, built his home, married an Igbo woman, did his business peacefully and also attended meetings that ensured the community is kept clean and the road smooth. So many other people also in other part of the SE. Why this unhealthy generalisation?

What will you say about those foreign movies that the languages have been changed to his native tongue? Is that not also piracy?

Is piracy not a worldwide thing? Are there not people looking out for lasting solutions to curbing this menace?
CelebritiesRe: Kunle Afolayan Blasts Igbos - Blames Them For Piracy. (screengrabs Included). by Feraz(m): 11:22pm On Apr 06, 2015
Na wa oh!! I thought all tribes are guilty of this? As much as I do not support piracy but has he called his brothers to order who translate most foreign movies into their native language without approval from the original producers of the movies? What about others that download pirated movies from the internet, are they also Igbos? Piracy is a worldwide thing and people are still looking for ways to curb it so why single out an ethnic group in Nigeria only?

Johnbosco77:
Honestly my instincts were right. I just came to Abuja to visit my uncle and what I was even imagining before I came is now staring me in the face. They have been married for WO years now and they have no issue. The way the wife calls me even before I came to Abuja was suspecting. Just yesterday when my uncle left for his office, the wife came into the room I was staying and asked me to help her fix her phone that it wasn't browsing. I obliged. The way she came very close to me was so sexually provocative. But I endured. The crux of the matter was while I was taking my bath she entered the bathroom and was like " pls I want you to make love to me". I was flabbergasted! I'm a sex freak but I told her to give me sometime to think bout it. Honestly I'm confused right now. Should I just make love to her? Should I just let her be? Should I just tell my Uncle? I'm confused!

I'm not stating it does , it is just how the Igbo community punished one of their own for dining with APC. Ngige is a good man , he has serves his people well before and can do so again , but because of tribalism and hate he did not win his constituency.
Did you say the same thing when he won against Dora Akunyili to represent Anambra in the senate?

Our politics should mirror our economic aspirations, not the other way around. There is no wisdom in living in the North, earning a living, yet despise the Northerners. That's being ungrateful. The gods of politics don't like that.

How long can this collective amnesia insulate us from meaningfully seating at the table, making contributions to Nigeria's political evolution?

How long can this foolishness go on?

How long?

There is a miserable silence across the land today, because we are realizing that we were sold off for pennies by pimps who parade as Igbo leaders.

Where are they?

Anyone home?"

Hmmm ... I sincerely hope some people are listening
I agree that in the whole of Igboland, I have not yet seen a leader in the calibre of Azikiwe, Sam Mbakwe, Ken Nnamani, Alex Ekwueme et all that is why I will keep cursing the leaders there. It is because we have decided to keep quiet hence why this is happening. We go about our daily activities like we are not supposed to concern ourselves with those leading us.

I want to ask you as per your first comment - if you go somewhere to live, make your daily bread from there and help out in ways you can but whenever there is an uprising due to political or religious ideology and you are killed in large numbers for nothing, will you still say the above? What do you think bring about one despising another? If you grow up in a place away from your origin, have made friends, speak their language and all of a sudden lose those things you hold dear due to differences in culture, religion and what not and you are sure that you are not involved, will you blame the person who lost all these?

While I do not subscribe to tribal slurs, you made salient points. They voted Obasanjo, Abiola and Yar'Adua and they were not called names while the SW opposed most of these governments with the exception of Abiola. What did Obasanjo do for the SE if not to impose his pawns on the people?

I find it hypocritical that people choose to call another names for a choice they consciously made simply because they chose to align with a particular person from a particular region, these same choice they have always made even when past administration candidates were not from the region of the said people.

APC failed in igboland because Igbos voted based on ethnicity and not based on individual's ability and sagacity. Ekwunife is no match to Ngige.
What makes you think she is no match to Ngige? Did Ngige not win the senate seat despite Dora contesting against him having carved a niche for herself? Are you living in Anambra state to know who impacts more to the people of the state? Even Victor Umeh of APGA lost. What does it tell you? This is the problem I have with many of you. When he won, they voted based on individual ability and sagacity but now, he lost and it is something else. Interesting. Please, tell me more. . . .

egift:
From the beginning of the Campaign, Buhari clearly stated that when it comes to former leaders, he will Draw the line from the day he becomes President, NeverAgain.

Now that does not cover all the groups, companies and individuals that were used to siphon funds. Also remember he promise to Enact the Whistle Blowers Act that will provide protection for Nigerians who exposes cases of Corruption (in the past or present).
You lie. Was it not when Nigerians started questioning him on how he intends to fight corruption if he has people like Amaechi, Tinubu, Rochas and Aregbesola at his side, that he made that statement?

I don't have anything against Buhari and I feel the standard Jonathan has set, should be what Nigeria should emulate henceforth. Should APC and Buhari contest an election in 2019,and lose it and refuse to handover,I personally will deploy every little thing I have been able to gather in life(both financially and otherwise),to join that protest and make sure they don't turn Nigeria upside down. A lot of blood has been spilled in Nigeria over elections and that has to stop. People cannot keep dying because somebody/some people want to remain in power. Jonathan has put an end to that and that is the standard that should be emulated henceforth. Any other standard is totally unacceptable.

They have come again. Why must you vote a party that you feel will not deliver? What makes Rochas the best governor in the SE? Is it because he is in APC? Even some APC supporters have attested that Chime Sullivan is the best governor in the SE for now. So because the SE does not like the APC, they have to be starved of their rightful allocation? I am beginning to see how magnanimous APC is gonna be...

Oh really?

But they were expecting GEJ to solve it all.

Mr man better buckle up and do what you promised
Exactly my sentiments. They wanted GEJ to solve decades of the myriads of Nigeria's problems and attacked him. Now, they are saying four years will not be enough to fix 16 years of inept leadership like Nigeria was a utopia before the PDP started ruling. When they say both parties are same side of a coin, they attack whoever that says that.

I will not start assessing GMB as he has not yet taken over. I will only watch.
FamilyRe: Is Being The Firstborn Child A Burden? Let's Talk. by Feraz(m): 7:03pm On Apr 02, 2015
5minsmadness:
Everything has already been said I guess.
Being first-born means you are the first person everybody within and outside the family looks upon when things are going haywire. In my case I was lucky to avoid all the hassles of lookin after my younger siblings in a financial capacity as my parents made sure we were well taken care of right up to university level. My burden has come more from social pressures, keeping up the family image, protecting my younger ones from violent people in school and the like. Making sure they have good accommodation after school and stuff like that.
Also Everyone of my dad's friends look up to me cos they expect me to follow the footsteps of my dad (he was a doctor) but I have struggled to follow a different path and I am not regretting it.
Truth is the man was a mean dungeon master and most of us are far off from him but now he is in his old years he is looking for how to come close to us, the rest of my siblings made sure they settled far from him but being the senior son and knowing one day I'll be called by the elders to give account of my dad, I decided to settle close by. I have to take care of him cos he's my dad though he messed up so much in different areas. The elders be like 'we can pardon your younger ones if they abandon this man but we can't pardon you cos you are the first-born.' Then they start bringing up all this traditional bullsh1t and I want to tell them to go to hell.

But whatever he's done he's my dad and I have to take care of him. The others are allowed to go scott free but I have to take care of the dungeon-master. I guess my burden is more emotional/social than financial, at least for now.
I guess first sons too do not have it easy.
