missclasssy: Unibenstudent, if you know you want to bask in your _stupidity, then de-activate this account and create another one that speaks magnitude of your obvious inherent preposterity.
Don't go around acting childishly and showing doltish attitude, when you bear a moniker that carries the name of an institution as dignified as the University of Benin.
Frankly speaking, in my opinion, you are a disgrace to the University.... Solphiequeen: Please nairalanders,i need help with my lumia 520 subscription, which plan is best for it and hw can i go about it. Am on the mtn network.thanks in advance Try MTN smartphone bundle which is 2500 for 4.5GB (1.5GB for daytime and 2.99GB for nighttime). Dial these number: *102# - here, your 1.5GB is a bonus which has to finish before your 2.99GB can be used. The 2.99GB works only at night from 9pm - 6am but your 1.5GB works all the time. OR *120# - here, the data is divided the same way as above but the lesser one works daytime and you can switch over to the other at night from 9pm. How do you switch over? You switch over by switching off your phone when it is time and the night plan will activate. (I'm currently on this one. Started on Thursday). You're welcome. |

dubemivan: I like this question... It is a sin because it encourage waywardness among unmarried people and also validate the waste of life and destiny of unborn babies who might be the Moses of our next generation! Beside sex outside or before marriage is a SIN and killing innocent developing babies is MURDER. Hence, legalization of Abortion is not just a SIN but also an ABORMINATION and a TABOO since it is alien to our culture and tradition and defies the supreme WORD of God! Asking a dumb question like this.. insinuate that you might be a culprit, you better desist and repent now before Gods wrath and Amadioha vengence will consume you. thank you! What they meant was argue from a science point of view on why it is not supposed to be legalized and not from the bible. Not everyone believes in God so your threat means nothing to they that do not believe. Anyone who takes berem AKA mzjackbauress serious will have yourself to blame. It is better you interact with Abagworo (even though he sometimes lies on issues related to Imo and Rivers state) than Berem (who BTW was exposed as a liar by MCMLXXVI). |

naturefellow: LOL. I understand. No cause for worry bro. I am neither an insect whisperer, nor have any sort of personality that may give me an advantage in insect photography. The insects flee from me the same manner that they would flee from you. They exhibit that same natural survival instinct you've keenly observed when you approach. Almost all insects act this way. It is the basic challenge for insect photographers, and it is always frustrating in the beginning. No pain no gain. If every insect (or wildlife) photographer gave up in the beginning, photographs as these (see below), and many more would possibly not exist for public appreciation. Special interest in the subjects would make you do every thing possible to get up close to them for observation, or for photograph (or autograph). They are more or less as celebrities are to paparazzis and ordinary folks. So stalking is allowed, and harassment disallowed. Conserve nature, not destroy. Ok oh. . . I'l keep trying then. Thanks. . . . |

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/10/n69bn-abuja-millennium-tower-gets-oct-2014-completion-date/
When are Igbos going to face the reality that Okorocha is the best out of core Igboland? When he was building an ecumenical center, they called it a mosque and when completed it becomes a wrong project. When the conference center and Warehouse roundabout were under construction there were pictures everywhere claiming it was substandard and displaying pics of uncompleted road and lying it was completed and failed in 3 months. Igbos should not allow their head continuously used by the Otuoke man as his people just see us as complete mugu. They cannot have a man of Okorocha's status and try to pull him down for the sake of an Igbo man. Dude, please, do not tag all Igbos as being stupid. Make your points without insulting a people and what they represent despite being one yourself. Thank you. |

johnydon22: I can't help but notice that the science section is one of the most declining and ignored section in nairaland.
All we see is numerous adverts here even when Please do not post adverts in this section, to avoid being banned. is written in bold red letter...
but sadly no science inclined topics are being raised all we see is buy solar panel, phone data and some useless stuffs.
The few scientific inclined threads here gets no or little attention and none ever makes it to the front page riddled with sai buhari and gej 2019
Seun please we need this addressed, scientific threads needs to be given the supposed attention, many people here need those informations and knowledge in science which really seems waning in nairaland.. Thanks boss Thank you. I wonder what stops them from bringing many of the threads here to the FP. It baffles me when useless topics like " See what she wore to the blah blah awards" or " Who rocked it better?" make FP to the detriment of topics like " Students in Singapore design and print out a 3D car" |

johnydon22: Pluto is a mini-planet not a main planet.. Many more planets are being discovered in our solar system. as it is now they are 8main planets the one listed above and 8mini/dwarf planets (pluto belongs here) in our solar system only. With more facts being uncovered everyday and more discoveries being made, this am sure will improve soon. Yeah. . .but any idea if it is still taught in primary and secondary schools that there are nine planets? This rendering is awesome. Sometimes, I wonder what it will feel like for one to just jump into the other planet seeing how close it is. . . |

Take me on a date, I deserve it, babe And don't forget the flowers every anniversary 'Cause if you'll treat me right I'll be the perfect wife Buying groceries, buying what you need You got that 9 to 5 but baby, so do I So don't be thinking I'll be home and baking apple pies I never learned to cook but I can write a hook.. You gotta know how to treat me like a lady Even when I'm acting crazy, tell me everything's alright If you wanna get that special loving Tell me I'm beautiful each and every night After every fight just apologize And maybe then I'll let you try and rock my body right Even if I was wrong, you know I'm never wrong Why disagree? Make time for me, don't leave me lonely And know we'll never see your family more than mine I'll be sleeping on the left side of the bed Open doors for me and you might get some kisses Don't have a dirty mind, just be a classy guy Buy me a ring Future husband, better love me right.
- Meghan Trainor The whole bolded, what do they even mean? The day I forget to treat you right, you'll unleash the hidden demon inside you okwa ya?!! When it is obvious you are wrong, you are never wrong?? Man!!! This is hilarious!!! I may get kisses as a reward for opening the door for you? What relationship are we in? A master-slave relationship? The last bolded, looks more like a threat!! The car was to race at the 2014 Shell Eco-Marathon in Netherlands along with cars from 25 mostly advanced countries. It was a major feat in automotive technology innovation for Nigeria.

From ‘Tuke Tuke’, students from the Mechanical Engineering department of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria, has taken it a step further to manufactured two eco-friendly energy efficient cars.
Photos from Uniben's Tuke tuke This news is old now. At least, they've improved and are currently building another. Eco tuketuke was the first, eco cruise the second, the third still in phase... and here's the picture of eco cruise... |

CecyAdrian: I will appreciate it if you stick to the issue here. Does he (OBJ) need to state categorically how the north has been maginalized before you believe they have been?. You talk about me not owning a dictionary. I believe you have one or better still Google will help thee .now check for the meaning of maginalization and disparity and wait,u might also using same google and apply it to the northern Nigeria. My dear you can't solve a problem without first tackling the root cause of that problem. The north have been marginalized over the years. Why do u have high rate of poverty and health related issues in that region more than the rest. No one said Jonathan should embrace their requests. But him paying a little more attention would have changed a lot. When a people reject treatment that is supposed to make them better, what are you supposed to do about it? Do you go forcing them? When you build legacies that is supposed to help them out in form of education and they reject it, what will you do about it? |
Politics › Re: Boko Haram Has Legitimate Grievances-obasanjo by Feraz(m): 8:58am On Mar 17, 2015 |
kraftykc: There is NO IDEOLOGICAL STRUGGLE EVER IN THIS WORLD'S HISTORY, THAT HAS BEEN SOLVED BY VIOLENCE ONLY.
Obj is absolutely right, BH do have legit grievances and were it not for the fact that they went exceedingly overboard with their actions some Nigerians would still be defending them. Now to be honest the only way to go now is to force BH's hand till they can be either tried in court or reabsorbed into society. Many members today are kids who were kidnapped as babies and not given any other option other than fight or die.
Like it or not, we cannot kill off BH. I recall when the government then wanted to grant amnesty to BH since everyone was calling for it. BH said they are rather the ones to grant the FG amnesty. Government tried the carrot approach but it was rejected by BH. If we say it's education, what did he do while he was in power? BH started under his tenure but he turned a blind eye to it, despite the religious uprising back then, I did not hear about what Baba did to curb those. If their legit grievance is to turn Nigeria into an Islamic state, what of those of other faith bearing in mind that Nigeria is a secular state? How will they feel? Of course, violence does not solve anything alone but certain times, you need show you're in charge when someone is going overboard. |
