Is the AC dual inverter model?

The moment you realize that this life no hard is when you learn not to bother yourself with things that are inconsequential as changing a battery of an item you bought.

When I bought my TV in 2018 from Jumia the battery that came with it for the remote was dead, will I now use because of it to return the TV? Well I can't say for you.

Unless the battery of the toy car in question is like a pack or something special like a phone battery, then it becomes an issue, but if It's either an alkaline AA/AAA battery or single cell lithium battery which is easily available and will still require changing after a while irrespective of how good the ones that came with the car is or not, then let him get one and use.

Learn to look beyond the surface of things sometimes.

Batteries die over time irrespective of if they're in use or not, however, it takes a longer time to die when not in use.

The fact that we can't ascertain when the batteries was manufactured is a probably cause not to rule the toy defective, try get a new battery and reconfirm the functionality of the toy.

the toy comes with two batteries which you can only use one at a time and the other a spare. So if it's battery,one should be good and the other bad. What are the odds that the two batteries are bad?

Start by sharing a picture of your installation as this will give insight on the components used and how the connection was done.

You also need to confirm the battery communication settings on the inverter as wrong settings will result to the issues you're facing with the battery readings.

Good morning nairalanders, please I have a 6kva deye inverter installed with a 14.3 kwh battery.
The problem is that the solar is showing 0.00w from the panels after installation.
The panels are total of 5900 watts.
Please can someone help me with a solution for this and what the problem might be.
The percentage on the battery is different from the percentage on the inverter and Im not sure the installer knows how to communicate them. Could this be the reason its showing 0.00w from solar panels ?

Kindly share pictures of the stickers of the 62w and 55w panels.

Used 10 of it lastweek. As for efficiency, I can't tell yet because the battery get filled up before peak sunlight hours.

Please do you have the spec sheet of the panel I want to confirm if I can add it to my setup.

Well I had 6x 630w Znshine panels installed recently.....I still need to observe before I can conclude on the efficiency of the panels. But for now it's just ok.

Confirm that the air vents are not restricted or covered with dust, secondly, confirm that the charging current is not limited to the default settings.

Make out time and Carefully study the manual of the inverter, especially the settings that has to do with the combination of the PV and grid input as I believe that one or two of the settings are incorrectly set which is why you experiencing what you're experiencing.

This repeated itself this morning and a reset didnt work. I noticed that once the utility is on and the PV is generating, my battery start discharging fast. Current temp solution was to move the grid changeover to neutral so i cant charge with utility.

Anyone experienced this?

People often ask how many batteries they need, the reply is buy as much as you can afford. As you may probably need it one day.

Since I started my off-grid journey, yesterday was the worst day I've encountered so far with less than 1kwh of energy generated.

The rain started on Friday here in Lagos, with a bit of sunlight in my area that was able to fully charge my batteries. The rain progressed to yesterday being Saturday which lasted the whole day with no sight of sunlight 😭.

Thank God for the decision I took to over size my battery bank as it paid off yesterday.

I have on ground 5KvA growatts hybrid inverter,120A felicity Charge controller,15KWh felicity battery.12 jinko panels-440Watts with 5 extra 450watts jinko panels that I can use if need be.

Installer one said 12 panels on 120A cc and 6 panels on inverter itself since it is hybrid-80mmpt cc .According to him,this is to allow proper charging of the 15KWH battery.He also said he will connect the panels 3 in series.

Installer two said the 12 panels on the 120A charge controller is enough to charger the battery.I just need an independent verifier though I am yet to get the installation quote from both of them

No, I'm using Deye inverter but some suggests using protocol 51 on growatt inverter depending on the model you're using.

You can check the user manual for guidance.

Float voltage is lower than the charge voltage, mine sits at the 58.4v for certain minutes (I've not really taken note of the actual duration) when it gets to 100% before dropping down to the float voltage of 53.6v.

Do you use growatt inverter? What protocol are u using?Because the protocol i selected, charges to 58.4 and floats at 58.4 too. Thought lifepo4 charges and floats at same voltage??

Deye BMS are usually programed to charge to 3.65/cell (58.4) and float @3.35/cell (53.6). I've been using mine with the comm connected since 2023 and it's been working great.

I'll recommend you install the comms back and set the protocol appropriately.

Okay, i use same battery though with a Growatt inverter, looking for a perfect voltage to set it at, as i disconnected communication between battery and inverter. As Growatt charges to 58.4v when communication is used. Though ive been charging at 56.8. I never get power for deye inverter now. Its around 1m.

It says a lot about the quality of the cells used.

please guy, what's your experience with Thermocool Inverter Freezers, Does it freeze and ice liquid like conventional freezers when used with solar.

Most grid tied inverters does not support battery input.

Then for a wonderful country like Nigeria it will be a waste of investment getting a grid tied inverter as the inverter needs a grid input to function and we all know how superb our national grid is.

Get a Hybrid (my recommendation) or stand alone inverter for your intended project.

2. Installation of the inverter in a hot environment with inadequate ventilation.
3. Improper/inadequate protection.

Share a picture of your inverter spec sheet and the spec sheet of your panels if available.

Your inverter producing less than 40a shouldn't make the battery to not exceed the voltage you described, it can only result in longer charging time if the charging source is consistent for that length of time

That 56⁰c temperature reading for the inverter is kinda high ooo

Indeed today’s sun seemed like one of the best for solar yield in the past few weeks.

I charged at a steady 9kW (170Amps) for over an hour straight.

Another benefit of 48v systems, 24v system will essentially be 340Amps for same charging speed and battery capacity.

TBB is not in the same league with Cworth and Fireman

I sent money but he refused to send item...I contacted him again and he refused to reply or even attend to calls..I was really angry not because of the money but because someone I have done business with on NL for years also scammed me of close to 1m...

So I came back to NL gaming section and the person has cleared the post..so while going through the Clearance and technology section I saw the same posts again so I assumed he's the one who scammed me..Yes the monikers were really identical and he registered around 2021 too..

Infact after the real person chatted me I still didn't believe he isn't the one I transacted with,perhaps he used another number,,but because some persons here defended him to have come through with their transactions,,I'm convinced he's not a scammer...
