@ Poster There is nothing like Perfect Couple or marriage. We have two imperfect people working hard towards perfection. What i learnt from your story is not to expect too much from people because they are not perfect, you can learn the good things you see in people and bust the bad ones. I think it will be nice if you ask the married to educate you on how they manage to be patient, forgive, endure and encourage each other in their marriage, rather than ask for horrible stories that, may make you not to want to marry. Remember all rose flowers have thorns. |
G.B.T According to him, when he demanded to know why the hoodlums asked him to leave his residence, they (armed men) told him that he was ”a slave bought by their forefathers in those days.” Is this not sick? @ G B T The old man is not sick. I have read stories from that part of Enugu State alot. The problem in a nutshell is that, some people believe others are outcast (osu). Unfortunately, most of the so called outcasts are the ones with wealth & are educated too. This fight & killings was so serious during former Governor Nnamani's tenure. I also heard then that, some of the weapons were given to them by some of them in power. Former IG of police Onovo having come from that place and knowing of the fight did not help matters either. The hoodlums are trying to force the (outcasts) out of the community take over their property and the old man is not sick & should die a natural death. Government should help the community stop fighting and i wonder if some Igbos will stop seeing others as outcast. We are all created in the image of God. |
@jennykadry Why are you asking so many questions? I think the lady has made her point. @ poster,do not worry, your marriage is safe & blessed, just keep in touch with his family. My friend is from Cameroon but the man's family can hardly do without her now. Make sure you learn how to prepare atleast some of their food. You can learn from food section of NL. All the best ![]() |
ladies it was just a topic no need to get personal, well for your information i am married to a great Nigerian man so there is no need for anyone to hook me up coz i am already spoken for! and my `so called friends are all nigerian guys that reside in south africa.i have discovered that most have girlfriends waiting for them in nigeria so i ask again can you wait for your man to come back? @POSTER YOU SEE I AM NOT GETTING PERSONAL BUT RATIONAL HERE. THANK GOD YOU ARE MARRIED TO A GREAT MAN BUT, WHAT I THINK IS THAT YOU SHOULD TRUST HIM AND FORGET WHAT YOUR FRIENDS SAID. FROM YOUR PREVIOUS QUESTION YOU SAID, THE WOMEN WERE WAITING FOR THEIR SUITORS TO COME BACK AND NOW IT IS GIRLFRIENDS (A CONTRAST), MY DEAR I FEEL YOU. SOMETIMES WOMEN FEEL UNNECESSARY TH REATED WHEN THEY MARRY FROM ANOTHER TRIBE OR EVEN COUNTRY YOU MAY HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT YOUR HUSBAND HAVING HIS COUNTRY WIFE AND IF SHE IS WAITING FOR HIM TO COME BACK BASED ON THE GIST FROM FRIENDS. IT IS NATURAL AND FRUSTRATING TO THINK BUT TRUST GOD AND DO YOUR BEST FOR YOUR HUSBAND. TRY TO WORRY LESS. IT IS NOT ONLY NIGERIAN WOMEN, ANY LADY EVEN IN EUROPE CAN EQUALLY WAIT FOR SUITOR. |
i am a south african lady, and have many nigerian friends ,wat i have noticed is that most of the nigerian women can stay years waiting for their suitors to come back from abroad to marry them @ poster I think you should ask some of your so called friends, because it is not a norm in Nigeria. ![]() Or are you looking for a Nigerian suitor ![]() they may consider you. |
I have noticed that, women have this gift of knowing when it is love or not, expect for those that do not tell themselves the truth or are materialistic. So, if she listens to herself and concludes not to give you a chance, then she will be hard on you. @poster Ask yourself, Are you in love really or are you a player? |
@poster you have to correct them when they say i love u instead of i like u. I will react by saying, i like you so easy. Also try and free your mind about guys, they are not all the same. There are good ones too. ![]() |
In some places they dont serve visitors pounded yam in any occassion. So, i will not support its use as National dish. I think we should use rice as official national dish and it can be prepared in various ways like fried, jollof, white and so on. Maybe,we can create a dish that has Yoruba,Igbo and Hausa ingredients in it & call it one Nigeria ![]() |
Horrible!!!!, this is the problem with some Nigeria girls or ladies they either over dress or underdress. I wonder if they left home like this, pity! ![]() |
