HealthRe: I'm On A Mission To Break My Addiction To Pepsi. by Ferya(f): 12:35pm On Nov 11, 2021
MasterRahl:
Good evening Nairalanders. So, I've been a chronic Pepsi addict over the years. I usually take two plastic bottles daily. One during breakfast, and one at night.

I usually take it alongside rice, noodles, any food eaten with spoon. I'm 27. Three years from now, I'll be 30, meaning I'm on my way to middle age.

I've decided to stop drinking it. It's hard but I will try. I now take my food with very chilled water.

I need tips on how to win the fight over my addiction to Pepsi. Today is Day 1. I'm writing this post by 11:30pm, and I've not taken any Pepsi today.
@op, It is not easy but you can do it. Initially, I was addicted to Coke cola to the extent I took some to bed. I took 7 big bottles on a sunny day. But, I was able to stop when I created an imaginary pain whenever I see it anywhere.

Secondly, I made lots of fresh fruits home juice. After six years I can say that I am a winner. You need to be determined and look for a healthy replacement.
Good luck ☺

In my opinion, this suspension came early. They should have enforced it for atleast 2 more weeks before suspending it. Last Monday's sit at home yielded postive results. It was published in most international medias and was a such of worry to the federal government. The federal government and eastern state governors knew those in charge of the region.

In addition, the comments I read on social media shows that most people are not happy with the suspension.
Anyway, I am not a member of IPOB so my views are inconsequential undecided undecided
They should free Nnamdi Kalu.
PoliticsTell The World Which Buhari You Interviewed – Nnamdi Kanu Replies Reuben Abati by Ferya(op): 7:01pm On Jun 19, 2021
Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has responded to Reuben Abati’s recent comments about President Muhammadu Buhari.

Abati, a former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, had shared some positive feedback with Nigerians after the Arise TV’s interview with President Buhari.

In an article Abati, who was among the Arise TV team of journalists that interviewed the Nigerian leader at the Presidential Villa, tried to clear some conspiracy theories concerning the President.

Jubrin of Sudan: Reuben Abati opens up on Buhari’s interview on Arise TV
Some of the conspiracy theories Abati attacked included the claim that the elected Buhari died a while ago and had been replaced by a body clone called Jibrin from Sudan

And the conspiracies flourished in Nigeria and beyond due to the absence of Buhari’s personal voice.

“The man that our team sat with and interviewed didn’t sound like a Jibrin from Sudan,” Abati said.

But reacting to Abati’s claims, Nnamdi Kanu, who has championed the conspiracy of Buhari’s alleged death and cloning, tweeted, “@abati1990,

Could you kindly tell the world, from the collection below, which version of …@MBuhari you interviewed?

“The man you interviewed, did he speak #Fulfude? Did you ask him about the hole in his neck or his Kpomo ear?

“Eyes are useless when the mind is blind.”

@OP, I suggest you focus on national issues that is gradually killing everybody in Nigeria and leave Igbos alone. Stop wasting your time looking for cheap popularity. If you are in need of topics, here are some of the national problems to discuss, terrorism, corruption, Herdsmen, Kidnapping, Bandits, Boko Haram has made Nigeria famous throughout the world, High level of child mortality, Unemployment, Poor education, Tribalism and lack of confidence in currency valuation.

If you are not aware, Oduduwa's are also agitating for their own nation because Nigerian government leaders failed in their reponsiblities. Tell your master, Buhari to stop marginalizing any tribeif they want one Nigeria.

In addition, the former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon (retd), has "confessed, that the Igbo nation had been marginalised in Nigeria’s polity fifty years after a brutal civil war".

I repeat, allow Nnamdi Kanu to protect his people. Biafrians are not complaining to you. Leave them alone!
You cannot beat a child and ask him/her not to cry. Please, leave Biafrians alone, they are not your problem!!!!!!

Back to the topic the useless bully Buhari and his uncircumcised Fulani army only knows how to threaten cowards and am glad Nnamdi Kanu had stepped up his game. The army knows what is about to hit them hence they are scared of drawing the first blood.
Those guys(ESN)got machine guns, sniper rifles, mortars,RPGs, sophisticated IEDs, mines which could take out and completely disable the few armoured vehicles the handicapped Nigerian army has cheesy cheesy they also got manpads and mobile surface to air missile systems which could bring down whatever the Nigerian airforce send to attack them.
That's what we call bussiness

Have you all noticed that since the formation of the ESN the president,DHQ, Army,DSS all fulani headed security agencies in Nigeria has been quiet cheesy it's because they know that it's no longer game on as usual and they are scared that their iron fisted grip of intimidation on Nigerians had started to slack.

Despite all the millitary checkpoints, molestations, and intimidations of the SE, nnamdi kanu the so called coward was able to organise a huge armed millitia to protect biafra land and the east from fulani jihadists accross the Sahel
nnamdi kanu had proven to the nepotic and pharoah hearted FG of Nigeria that the Nigeria army is nothing but a mere toothless bull dog only capable of frightening scared chickens(Nigerians) and when the people pick up arms they cower into their shells like snails.
If it where to be innocent protesters now the Fulani led babaric army would have swung into action, but here they are frightened without knowing what to do grin grin

The government could take ipob despite all their threats, they couldn't get nnmadi kanu back to Nigeria despite all their blackmail, nnamdi kanu is like a ballistic missile hitting Nigeria hard far from the range of Nigeria attacks,is it the eastern security network they can tame cheesy no, the forces behind nnamdi kanu is too much for Nigeria and it's army of babarians to handle and the ESN had come to stay ready to move into the next line of action.other regions that had been frightened into their shells SW,M/belt,SS including their lilie livered leaders should follow the steps of nnmadi kanu and protect their land with drastic actions and I tell you the fulanis grip on Nigeria will listen and they shall all flee back into the deserts of Libya

Long live biafra
@op, Awesome! Nigeria government should focus on boko boys, bandits and so on in the North rather than chasing shadow. However, on a lighter note, it is advisable to start with capital letters when you write proper nouns. In other words, capitalize the names of people, specific places, and things. (For example it should be Nnamdi Kanu) kiss
PoliticsRe: The Coat Of Arms Of The Old Eastern Region by Ferya(f): 9:29pm On Dec 30, 2020
gidgiddy:
Below is a picture of the coat of arms of the old Eastern Region. The individual with a spear depicts the fighting spirit of the people as well as the attire mostly worn by people of the Region. The Leopard is a symbol of power. The Eagle resting on an Elephant tusk is a symbol of vigilance. The rising sun on the shield is a symbol of the Region its self as the sun only rises in the East. The eleven rays on the rising sun indicate the eleven original provinces that initially made up the Eastern.

The Eastern Region used to be made up of eleven provinces. However, when the Eastern Region achieved self rule in 1954, the Eastern Regional parliament increased it to 19 provinces plus the Regional capital of Enugu, making 20 provinces in all. They were:

1. Calabar Province
2. Nsukka Province
3. Uyo Province
4. Onitsha Province
5. Aba Province
6. Eket Province
7. Abakiliki Province
8. Owerri Province
9. Umuahia Province
10. Orlu Province
11. Degema Province
12. Portharcourt Province
13. Ogoja Province
14. Awka Province
15. Oji River Province
16. Okigwe Province
17. Opobo Province
18. Yenagoa Province
19 Annang Province
20. Enugu Province(Regional capital)

On the 27th of May 1967, General Yakubu Gowon issued decree 14 of 1967 which abolished all 4 Regions in Nigeria, including the Eastern Region, replacing them with 12 states. This was in direct violation of the agreement Gowon had signed with the Military Governor of the Eastern Region, Col Ojukwu, in Aburi, Ghana

With the agreement broken, Ojukwu declared the Eastern Region a separate country called the Republic of Biafra. The name "Biafra" was suggested to Ojukwu by the head of Yenagoa Province, Frank Opigo. After the declaration of Biafra, Ojukwu changed the Eastern coat of arms to the Biafran coat of arms by removing the man with the spear and replacing him with an identical supporting Leopard.
@ OP, WOW! this is very informative!
I must commend the person that designed the coat of arms of the old Eastern Region because he/she did a good job. Eventhough, they removed the picture of the man with the spear, I think it showcased the aggressive and consistent spirit in a Biafrian.

This is an apparition coming true. It is happening now. They came to take over all the lands in this country. One Nigeria indeed!

Northern governments will traiting eastern governors with president position. They will be asked to crush ESN.

The governors especially ebonyi state governor will try to sabotage the formation of ESN but will fail because the formation is beyond their control

Nigerians soldiers will go after ESN and will kill many innocent people.

Ipob and ESN will gain more sympathizers and the relations of those innocent people killed by Nigeria army may attack the people they suspect to be enemies in the eastern region.

ESN may go into gorilla fight against Nigeria security agencies.

The north may fight the southerners that lives in the north. Then katakata may start.

MY ADVICE TO GOVERNMENT
Federal government should be careful in handling this issues. They should advise the eastern governors to take advantage of them by welcoming them and help in their structural formation so that they can work within the law.

PLEASE NEVER TRY TO STOP THEM WITH FORCE.

Any state governor that sabotage them may regret it so it better for them to embrace ESN and help is restructuring them
Please, I will advise you to either take malaria pills or start writing scripts for Nollywood movies wink

Kanu can never be exonerated. Next time, maybe when he’s incarcerated in prison, he’ll learn not to stoke ethnic tension with his utterances[/s].
@ poster, Stop this is nonsense. We are talking about the death of innocent people. When is it a crime for people to protest? Police stations were burnt in other states and those state governors did not kill them. Wike, should have allowed those that committed such crime to face the legal consequences but no......he went after them and supervised their killing.

Yes, I believe you, we should not make it just an Igbo affair but a Nigerian affair. All I see and hear on daily basis is so much blood shed and oppression on innocent citizens in this country.

If I may ask, how many times was boko haram and herdsmen killed for killing and raping millions in Nigerians? What of the northern leaders that sponsored boko haram were they shot? What did they do, they released and granted amesty on the so called repentant boko haram and went after innocent citizens.
So sad!

Whether Wike accepts being Igbo or not, is not our problem. The issue is that, he should stop killing innocent people. It is evil! Some of those guys are breadwinners for their families. Wike should empower the youths in his state and they will not have time for IPOB meetings. Please, South/South and South East governors should learn from their counterparts in the South West.

However, Igbo men are very industrous, brave and intelligent. I think that anyone that has these qualities should not be begging Wike and co. to be a friend or brother. It should be the other way round. Let them be! But, work on your governors and senators to achieve Biafra.
