PoliticsHired Supporters Of Jonathan Protest Over Non-payment by Fesomu(op): 9:46am On Nov 12, 2014
Thousands of hired ‘supporters’ of
President Goodluck Jonathan declaration to
seek reelection performed a mini sit-down
protest at the Eagle Square to show their
fury over non-payment of their N2000 per
head fee.
According to reports, the protest was held during
GEJ’s official declaration.
The rented followers, who assembled at the place
of the occasion as early as 7.00am, upheld that
their handlers didn’t pay the money promised to
them.
A visibly-irritated supporter who wanted to be
anonymous uttered his displeasure over the
casual attitude of some of the leaders of the
various groups who brought them to the event
for not showing any concern for their well-being
despite the long distances they had to travel.
He said, “They asked us to enter the bus when
they came to Maraba this morning and they
promised to give us two thousand Naira each
and also give us food but we are very
disappointed to see them running around and
later disappear into the middle of the crowd
and nobody come back to give any money or
bring water for us to drink.”
RomanceCan U Forgive Her?? by Fesomu(op): 6:36pm On Nov 07, 2014
You meet and dated a girl when you were in the university, she was a virgin when you met her, and you both agreed not to have sex untill your wedding night. The both of you graduated but were jobless for four years. However, after many years of suffering, she later secured a job for you in one big company where you were paid close to 900,000 per month. Things were going well with you and you finally proposed marriage to her, she accepted but after few seconds, tears start rolling down her cheeks. He ask her what the problem was; she said '' Am sorry love, i am no longer a virgin i gave my virginity to your boss before he accepted to employ you in his company. That was the only condition he gave me before you were employed or you remain jobless. Assuming you are this guy, what will be your reaction? And for the ladies, can you do this for love?

E will die cos the weight will eventually roll back to him.
The weight won't be able to get to that height where A is.
The weight will take the shape just above B leaving him unhurt.
For C, the second weight on d jig saw will be balanced therefore protecting C.
Not too sure if D's head will be spared, but he can just bend to prevent his head frm injury grin

Interesting puzzle. I will attept this: D dies. E pushes the stone it rolls down to D, at the point of rolling to hit C, the sharp edge of the carved out portion stabs D in the neck, kills D and stops the stone from rolling over. Every oothet person survives. By the way I went to Cambridge and nothing less than a 130 IQ is admitted there. I am pretty sure it is D.

While solving this puzzle, I urge you all to do the needful come 2015. Vote out incompetence and boko haram, so that our kids can do puzzles like this without fear of being killed by the blood suckers called Boko Haram.

rman:
Based on the picture and logic:

A and B are safe.

Weight of the chipped rocked is less that the rock on the platform so it will only rock it a bit without touching C. That makes C safe.

The chipped/ hollow portion of the chipped rock will be on D's head at that point when it rolls down so D is also safe.

E is safe because based on the arrangement, the heavy rock will remain on the platform because it is heavier than the chipped one.

*I hope I make sense*
it doesn't make sense bro

PoliticsOlusegun Obasanjo Attends His First Class As A Masters/ph.d Student At “NOUN” by Fesomu(op): 4:05pm On Oct 31, 2014
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on
Wednesday, had his first day in class as a
Masters/Ph.d student of the National Open
University of Nigeria, NOUN.
The former president is studying for a Masters
and Doctorate degree in Christian Theology.
The class which took place in Ota, Ogun State,
was held with his internal supervisor, Philip
Tachin, a lecturer in Systematic Theology and a
pastor.
Mr. Obasanjo said he was optimistic that
additional knowledge in Theology will help him
understand how to use religion in the alleviation
of problems that affect people at the grass roots
generally but particularly in Africa.
After receiving an outline for the course, he was
given his first assignment to review a number of
literatures on the subject and to present a
research paper for review.
Mr. Obasanjo obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in
2009.
The Masters degree will precede the Doctorate
degree.
Last month, Mr. Obasanjo revealed that he was
returning to school to achieve his aspirations in
life.
“I’m going back to school because I have to have
something to aspire to in every endeavour of life,”
Mr. Obasanjo had said.
“I always aspire to something new in my farm. I
do that in my international activities.
I do it in my writing. I do it in the improvement of
my academic work which helps to sharpen my
brain and strengthen my faith.”
The National Open University was initially
established in 1983 but was suspended by the
then military government in 1984.
Mr. Obasanjo resuscitated it in 2001.
In November 2006, a few months to the end of
his eight-year tenure, the then president enrolled
for a post graduate diploma in Christian Theology
at the university.
He graduated in January 2009.
Born on March 5, 1937, Mr. Obasanjo attended
Abeokuta Baptist High School; Mons Officers’
Cadet School, Aldershot, England; Royal College of
Military Engineering, Chatham, England and
School of Survey, Newbury, England.
He also attended the British Royal Engineers’
Young Officers School, Shrivenham, England;
Indian Defence Staff College; Indian Army School
of Engineering and Royal College of Defence
Studies, London.
He enlisted into the Nigerian Army in 1958.
He was Nigeria’s Head of State between 1976 and
1979 when he voluntarily handed over to a
civilian administration led by Shehu Shagari.
In 1999, he was elected president. His tenure
expired in 2007.
EducationEFCC Arraigns UNIBEN Undergraduate Over $12,000 Internet Scam by Fesomu(op): 3:58pm On Oct 31, 2014
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,
EFCC, on Thursday, October 30, 2014 arraigned
an undergraduate of the University of Benin,
Kenneth Rukewe Ebule before Justice E. F
Ikponmwen of an Edo State High Court, sitting in
Benin- City on a 6- count charge bordering on
forgery, obtaining money by false pretence and
possession of fraudulent documents.
The accused person allegedly duped Sabine
Albert, a German, of the sum of $12, 088, 75
through fraudulent claims.
Rukewe, 30, a final year student of Computer and
Statistics at the University of Benin, was arrested
by officials of a new generation bank on May 28,
2014 in Benin City and handed over to the EFCC
for further investigation.
Troubles started for him when Albert alleged that
within two months after he had internet contact
with him, Rukewe fraudulently obtained the sum
of $12,088,75 (Twelve Thousand Eighty Eight
Dollars and Seventy Five Cents) from him.
Rukewe allegedly posed to Albert as an English
businessman on transit in Nigeria.
He gave his name as Bob Albert and told his
victim that he had a contract with a Nigerian
company worth €1.200, 000.00 and that he
needed a loan to facilitate a transaction with the
company.
He promised to pay back the loan and even
doubled it because he was sure of pulling through
the transactions.
He also told Albert that he had complications and
suffered a robbery attack.
Rukewe also falsely told Albert that, a levy of of
N1,975,861 (One Million, Nine Hundred and
Seventy Five Thousand, Eight Hundred and Sixty
One Naira only) was imposed on him by the
Federal Inland Revenue Service for the release of
his International Passport, and a cheque worth 1,
200,000 Euros.
He also pleaded for a flight ticket to London.
Based on all these, Albert offered to loan him the
money by sending it through Western Union, only
to discover that he had been scammed.
Investigation also revealed that the suspect had
defrauded other German nationals to the tune of
$110,975.00USD (One Hundred and Ten
thousand, Nine Hundred and Seventy Five United
States Dollars) between May 2013 and January
2014.
When the charges were read to the defendant, he
pleaded not guilty.
One of the charges read in part:
“Ebule Kenneth Rukewe (a.k.a. Bob Albert), on
or about the 17th day of July, 2013 within the
jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with
Intent to defraud, obtained the sum of $
12,088,75 (Twelve Thousand Eighty Eight
Dollars and Seventy Five Cents) from Sabine
Albert (a German National), under the false
pretence that the money represented part
payment of N1,975,861 (One Million Nine
Hundred and Seventy Kobo) levy imposed one
Bobby Albert (a British citizen) by Federal
Inland Revenue Service for the release of the
International Passport, Cheque worth
1,200,000 Euros and flight ticket to London of
the said Bobby Albert, which representation
you knew to be false”.
In view of the plea of the defendant, prosecution
counsel, Kayode Oni asked for a trial date and
prayed the court to remand the defendant in
prison custody.
The defence counsel, Maureen Morka informed
the court of her application for bail dated
September 9, 2014 and prayed the court to
grant the defendant bail.
Justice Ikponmwen granted the defendant bail in
the sum of One Million Naira and two sureties in
like sum.
The sureties must be resident in Benin City and
must be gainfully employed in Edo State. The
defendant must also produce his student identity
card.
Justice Ikponmwen subsequently adjourned the
case to November 21, 2014 for hearing and
ordered that the defendant be remanded in
prison custody pending the perfection of his bail.
