Well before they start collecting money for parking along the major roads in FCT, there was this public awareness and announcements for like three months or so last yr. The roads that link to Obasanjo estate (GTBank, May&Baker, City Plaza, Sahad stores, Diamond Bank), Maitama(IBB Way, Merit house, BPP, Public Complain Commission, ETF, Amingos, Studio24,ETC), WuseII (Etisalat, k-city plaza, Sherrif plaza, Samsung, Banex/Emab Plaza), Utako/Jabi District (Mountain of Fire, Upstairs, ABC, Peace Park, etc), Area11,(Efab mall, Protea Hotel, Powa International Sch, FCDA, EcoBank, etc), Central Area (Ceddi Plaza, Nicon building, First and Diamond Banks, Akwa-Ibom, Rivers, Lagos, Kano, Enugu, Plateau Houses, Ministry of Finance, Christian Center, National Engineering building, Energy Commission, Abia State House, SEC, Stock Exchange, Unity Bank). These are the areas i have noticed them. Either you park inside the plaza or building you have business with or you pay by parking along the road. There was a warning before that so it is not strange.

The Senate yesterday foreclosed further intervention in the case of over 300 Nigerians in Indonesia prisons.

About 16 of them are said to be on the death row for drug-related offences.

Senate President David Mark gave an indication of the lawmakers’ helplessness to help the prisoners at plenary yesterday.

He noted that Nigerians who smear the name of the country should be left to their fate whenever they are caught.

The Chairman, Committee on Foreign Affairs, Matthew Nwagwu, had drawn the attention of the Senate to the plight of over 300 Nigerians in Indonesian prisons.

Nwagwu, who spoke under matters of urgent national importance, noted that there was “disturbing and shocking news of over 300 Nigerians held in Indonesian prisons”.

The lawmaker specifically told the Senate that about 16 of them are on the death row and could be killed any moment.

He said there has been public outcry about the situation.

Nwagwu said: “I have already called the Minister of Foreign Affairs and he assured me that he would get in touch with our mission in Jakarta, the Indonesian capital. Though he was of the opinion that most of the issues relate to drugs and drug related offences. So, Mr. President, I suggest we invite the Minister of Foreign Affairs to come and address the Senate on the issue. Let us know what is happening and what could be done to, if possible, review some of the cases.”

The Senate, Mark said, had sent a delegation to Indonesia after adopting a motion by Senator Uche Chukwumerije on the matter.

“Mark said: “We sent a delegation to Indonesia, Singapore and China. The delegation brought back a report, saying all of them on death row were people involved in drug trafficking. We were told that all those on death row had exhausted all legal options available to them and it was only our intervention that stopped them from being killed.

“If they are still alive, then they should thank their God.”

The Senate President said Nigerians “who go and break laws in other countries should not expect us to protect them”.

He added: “We will not allow any Nigerian to be maltreated outside this country. We can even go to war for one Nigerian, if he is unfairly treated. But Nigerians who go out and carry drugs should know the risk they are taking. So, we will not protect them.

“I think there is a clear line between a honest, genuine Nigerian, who is out there doing his honest job in accordance with the laws and regulations of the country, and those who go there to smear the name of Nigeria. That we will not take...”

The other person that died was someone I knew passingly.
He was hit on the back and did not die on the spot. He held on to life, as though his life depended on it, of course, it did.

His friends around were able to spirit him to LAGOON HOSPITAL, a distance of 500meters away. Seeing his condition, the hospital hurriedly admitted and put him on oxygen. His friends at this point were relieved and in high spirit that JAGABAN was going to pull through, once again. It is a pity that some people have failed and refused to see beyond their nose and reason with common sense. For good one year, it is now the uncalled news is being made public.

I will say the church management is aware of the missing child in one or the other; because i could remember when one of my secondary school mate from same village died in Lagos. The boy was learning trading that time. He decided to go laboring for quick cash at one new church building site. One day he did not return home and the sister and relatives started searching immediately with the police. It was gathered from his friends that he always go to labour at that church site and claims that he went trading. After thorough searching and investigations, it was realized that the boy and six other boys were killed by the church, covered with thick nylon bags and were buried under the Heep concretes at the site.

Also in Port Harcourt(Eche Local govt. area) last year when one Redeem pastor poisoned his neighbors three sons and threw them into an uncompleted well at his backyard (also church premises). It didn't take the investigative police hours to uncover the ugly nature of the pastor.

In as much as no one is being held responsible, the church and its executives have questions to answer. I fesse don't trust any of all these churches because their ways are so crooked and dirty. The couple is to be blamed also for keeping mute all this while.

Well, am into it right now and am loving it. I have traded my happiness all this while for a long distant relationship and it never worked.
