Wow this is so insightful and informative. From what u wrote, then I wonder why people always condemn the UK.
How I wish I can just see myself in the UK, US or Australia and enjoy the benefits of living in a sane country where things works for the common man.
As it is now in Nigeria, there is no futuristic hope for the common man in Nigeria.
And migrating out of Nigeria now to these working countries like the UK, US, Canada, Australia is now very expensive and difficult.

No starter should consider London because everything you pay is twice or even thrice elsewhere from house rent to gas to electricity bills.

An example is a two bedroom house rent which could go over 1800 to 2000+ per month excluding gas and electricity bills in London then places in Scotland or Northern England where you could see same house for 500 pounds per month

I came to the UK as a student, and I can confidently say that God has enabled me to achieve things here, even as a student, that I couldn’t achieve in four years back home.

If you come to the UK with the right visa (work visa), I can guarantee you will live a much better life, almost like heaven on earth. Nigerians who complain about the UK being bad are often those who came through the wrong means, such as buying fraudulent work visas (COS) and then getting stranded, or coming through visiting visas. If you come through these channels, you will regret leaving Nigeria.

However, if you come as a student, having paid your full tuition fees before leaving Nigeria, or you come through a work visa, the experience is completely different.

For instance, my one-day wages in the UK can conveniently feed me for a month. My transport expenses for the month are just five hours of wages out of my eight-hour workday. My house rent and bills amount to just four days' wages, and I work for 20 days.

I speak in parables. When I convert how much I have left to naira is in 6 figures after all monthly expenses. Let me add that this is not just my experience but also that of most of my people here who came with the right type of visa and are not overstayed immigrants.

Well in as much you not in the UK, you will continue with this propaganda. I have stayed in the UK for just 2 and half years and what I have been able to achieve, I can’t in Nigeria for 9years. It displeased me when people that haven’t been somewhere would be discouraging people not to go. Well best of luck to people who diligently study places and plan towards moving. Peace

I want to submit Importation receipt, sales receipts and business account statement, even though i have not been doing transactions on it for months now because i moved my transaction to personal account because of pof, coupled with recommendation Letter from my client and social media account as u suggested (i have deed of lease of a land purchased in 2017, dunno if i should include it) including the statement of purpose explaining every details of what i submitted.
This exactly happened to me when I was processing my admission in 2022.
Do this..
Tell your client to write an official recommendation letter which would state that you are the owner of th ABC company.that you have been consistently supplying ABC goods…
Preferably your client should use an official mail in his/her contact details.
Also,resend your CAC documents
And if you have any business transaction document,that would also be an advantage
With the recommendation letter and your CAC documents,you are good to go.

How do you see it, advice me please.

Also my client said he hasn't done recommendation letter before, any sample would help

Hello house, my wife is meant to graduate in May but failed one coursework and have been allowed a resit without attendance. She has been asked to submit the coursework on July 29. Our visa will expire on Sept 9. Are we still eligible for PSW if she pass the coursework successfully? Please I need your advice. Thank you

Yes we have done Admistrave Review but for the fact the COS was fake I doubt if the outcome of the Admistrave Review will be positive..... And yes I know I will not be able to apply again in the next 10 years because any future applications of mine will be refused but what about my kids and husband as the dependant will their future applications be refused as well?.... I'm just asking for my kids and husband if they will were also ban 🤔

It is wrong to ask for payment when you are a member of a church and still get your source of livelihood elsewhere. You cannot be working in the bank, a company etc, and still tell your pastor to pay you because you are a drummer, instrumentalist, etc. Does it mean you cannot help God's house without being paid?

For some days now I have been on a serious dilemma whether to resign from my federal government job that pays me above N200k for my current position and migrate to the UK or stay in naija and set up a business to augment my salary. I will be 34 years next year, I feel traveling to the uk for studies next year September will delay my chances of getting married, as I have planned not exceeding 34 years without getting married.

I belong to the school of thought that believes can make it in Nigeria despite all odds. However, considering the economic realities of the country, I have recently contemplating of japa and maybe get a Nigerian lady for marriage after my studies.

Please I earnestly need matured advice from you guys to know how to start the coming year.

You are missing the point. Without some kind of government subsidy (through Universal credit), which Japarists are not able to avail of, £10/hr won't get you a room anywhere in London.

If our bobo londoner works for the standard 8 hours per day and earning £10 per hour and he works for 5 days a week; he would have earned = £10 x 8 hours = £80/ day x 5 days/week = £400/week x 4 weeks = £1,600 per month. With this earning bobo londoner is taking nothing home at month end and cannot afford to buy that kind of £10 food every day if he does he might be in debt see why:

Now for bobo pays average of £1,480 for house rent monthly and pays average of £140 for transportation to work. That's £1,480 + £140 = £1,600 per month ONLY. If bobo londoner tries to buy his £10 food everyday as man must wak that's £10 x 30 days = £300 per month.

Therefore, bobo londoner must werk on Saturdays to survive that's £80 x 6 days × 4 weeks = £1,920 - £1,480 - £140 - £300 = £0.00 per month

So Bobo Londoner must werk on Sundays to have £80 at every month end

Workers in Nigeria do not work on Saturdays and Sundays before you start your comparison again

UK & US ARE OVER-RATED NIGERIA IS STILL BETTER in terms of cost of living see a practical example why doing a price comparison: 1 pound to 1 naira today is N1,001 so are you saying with £10 x N1,001 = N10,001 you cannot buy everything in that basket and collect change in Nigeria today?

1 Sliced Bread = N800
2 Spaghetti = N1400
1 Gesha = N600
1 live chicken = N3,000
1 75cl soya Oil = N1,400
1 Midium size Butter = N600
2 Gino Tomato paste = N1,000

Total = N8,800 so your change is N1,200 that's if you exchange pound to naira at offical rate and buying at the most expensive stores or high brands. If you exchange at black market rate and buy at public market "days" you will collect as much as N6,000 after buying everything in that basket....that's about £6 left.
