Lovinam is right. Yes they tend to sleep longer on their tummy but it needs constant supervision. I lie my 5wks son on his tummy during d day cos am alwaz beside him to supervise but @ night I lie him on his side.

Its kinda normal for babies.....they say its skin shedding. Just make sure his scalp is always oiled.....you can use olive oil or coconut oil.

However.....whatever u do, dont attempt to scratch it off with comb! His skin is still tender.....avoid stories dat touch!

Den as if she is snoring. Sometimes also when she is sleeping she breathes as if someone is pursuing her. Do I need to be worried.Tho I am o.
She also breathe with her mouth open as if nose is blocked

My fellow warfi mama, how u dey na? I can see u also gave birth to a boy. I used oilve oil for my son`s own and also gave him paracetamol but penicillin is ok too.

Pls I jus noticed dandruff in my son`s hair. What can I use for it so that it can disappear sharp sharp

i think d yoruba name is alefo while dermatologists say it's molluscum contagiosum..
dilute ncp in water(equal parts) & use to clean d rash after pricking it open then use mupirocin cream to rub it regularly. u can also use calamine lotion for the itch. keep at it, it will b gone within a month.

Tanks vickalafab. I mixed sudocrem with ori and av been applying it and its drying up slowly but mayb I wee try dis too.

You can apply Shea butter though it would still clear off eventually.

Pls my mamas, I don come again. I rily hate dis rash or whateva it is on my 3wks+ son. Some pple call it 'imibe' but don't know d english name for it. It starts like a tiny pimple kinda den I guess it bursts and spreads to anoda area becos befor I know it anoda one has appeared. It den flattens ouy and then peels off. I initially tot it was diaper rash cos it started from his private area but now its all over his neck. Pls any1 wit similar experience cos pple say its vry common wit babies & what can se to make it to away? Thanks.

Pls my dear mamas, my boy of 3wks + 3days has somtin like rashes on his privates area. It starts like rashes, then flattens and peels off like u wud tink its skin change. Pls what can I use for it as it now seems to be spreading to other places.

But as you are saying it is on the upper gum area...you have to eliminate the possibility of trush.

Wow! Stumbled upon this thread again and feels good 2 see mytestimony, kimoni and some oder mamas here. Pls my 2 weeks old son`s tongue has already coated even under his upper gum. Am I supposed to leave it like that or clean it up and with what do I use to clean it?

Pls nurse kaffy, is it ok to give gripe water and nospamin to my boy? He is 1wk and 5 days. A fellow nurse recommended it when she saw d way he was stretching but u kno say na ur word we beliv pass for here. Awaiting ur reply. Tanks.

Ok, here is the birth story. My EDD was 24th but within me, I knew I wudnt get to dat date becos I was having cramps like evryday since we entered March. On wed night as usual before I slept, was having cramps but jus managed to sleep off only to be woken up by somtin jus dripping out of my veejay. I woke DH and said bros e be like I don see show o! So we quickly put my hospital bag together and headed off. This was around past 12am. I was having contractions but it wasn't so serz. On getting to d hospital, I was checked and was told dat I had not dilated and check back by 7am. Btw then and 7am, I guess my water broke cos it jus kept gushing out and I changed my pad like 3 times so I was rily disappionted wen I was checked again by 7am and was stil told I had still not dilated but @ least I was draining. Two checks again later was told I had gone only 4cm. Dat was when real labour pain started. Constant contractions wit only 30secs apart. Wen d strong urge to go to toilet came, I told d doctor and wen he checked again he said madam oya bring ur delivery tins in. Pls push wen u feel d pain and wen d pain subsides, relax. Dat was it and after several pushes, d bobo came out o! Imeeadiately I saw him, I completely forgot any pain I ever went tru. May God see all pushing mamas through. Amen. Had my first vigilante yesterday. Na now d real work start.

Make una help me tank God. I gave birth dis morning to a bouncing baby boy early dis morning. Abeg make una help me. My breasts aint producing milk yet and my little prince is so hungry. I gave birth normally.

If you are close to EDD, it's most likely false labour. When it starts and it doesn't stop, it's true labour
