An explosion has been reported in a football viewing center in the Tundun Wada area of Jos. Eyewitnesses said the area has been frequently attacked by suspected iskamist militants. There is no reported casualty as the time of filing this report.

I go for Min. for Aviation, we have seen lately the senator and House of Reps member doing most of her duty. and Min for Education, i guess she has just been awarding contract, going 2 office daily and attending functions. i have not seen any improvement in the education sector lately.

I am not actually impressed with the members of GEJ cabinet. None of them (Apart from Min 4 Agric) has really brought anything new since their assumption of office.

Two bombs explosions has been reported in Kaduna . Residents reported that the explosions hit Unguwar Sarki near Sultan Bello Mosque. Two bombs were planted underneath Abdulwahab Folawiyo bridge .

Emergency workers told Sahararareporters that two bombs exploded near a bus stop. The first bomb reportedly did some damage while a second exploded killing one member of the police anti-bomb squad as they tried defusing the bomb.

Kaduna has witnessed increased attacks from the deadly islamic sect Boko Haram in recent weeks. Two weeks ago the sect attacked two military formation in the city.

Huhuonline.com investigations have disclosed that the leader of the notorious Boko Haram Islamic sect, Imam Abubakar Shekau and other comrades in crime have fled the Nigeria to take refuge in Qoundere, Cameroun after the recent orgy of violence in Kano

and Bauchi states which killed over 200 people.

Although Shekau was said to have relocated to the neighbouring country few days before the Kano attacks, a dependable source who preferred to be anonymous said they took off through the guarded borders as the bombs and attacks raged.

“It was a detour plan. We create confusion by wreaking havoc in several places and also exit through other places in the heat of the confusion. Some of our commanders are currently in Qoundere, Cameroun”, he confirmed.

Huhuonline.com findings have also revealed that the Federal Government through some Northern state Governors have been having secret meetings with leaders of the sect to strike a peace deal with the Nigerian government.


“The Federal Government enlisted the services of some Northern state governors to open negotiations with the sect leaders on how to put a stop to the bombing and violent activities of the group which has resulted in the killings of over three thousand Nigerians”, the source said.

These clandestine negotiations between the governors and leaders of the insurgent group, according to insider sources, are held within the country and their new abode in Cameroun. Another source said the Boko Haram leaders may have escaped with the help of notable Nigerians including Northern governors.

However, in view of the negotiation, the dreaded Islamist sect are said to have recoiled from their hitherto demand for an Islamic state as the sect leaders are now particular about the release of their members in various prisons across the country and the re-integration of its members into the society without any inhibition by the authority.

A source within the sect told Huhuonline.com that the Northern governors were pre-informed of the sect’s recent attacks in parts of the North. “We warned the Governor of the consequences. We are sometime forced into action following deliberate failed promises by some of our Northern state governors who often renege on certain negotiations with the sect on issues which bothers on members welfare and freedom”, he said.

The Boko Haram source further explained why they killed Babakura Fuggu, in-law of the slain leader of the sect, Mohammed Yusuf, who was gunned down after a visit by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

“We learnt he asked for money. Obasanjo was good to us. We had no problem with Obasanjo. We had him. We could have taken him out”, as he recalled that the Sharia movement took off during Obasanjo administration as president. “The problem started during the late President Yar’Adua regime. Goodluck Jonathan only inherited the problem. We have no problem with Goodluck. But his Ijaw people around him are deceiving him”.

“We decided to attack Kano in December last year. The abrupt end to the oil subsidy strike and protests served an opportunity for the group to strike. The preparatory work for the attack and the selection of targets had already been completed. According to the source, an estimated number of casualties were calculated to net 300 minimum. “The go ahead order” was given on Wednesday January 18, 2012 evening before the leader of the group left the country to Cameroon on the early morning of Thursday, the following day. We have the weapons and are in control. We are not asking for Islamic Nigeria. We want our men free”.
