i didn't snap it before mounting in on the roof, so i think i will have to go with an average Canadian 200w rating. it is running on a 12v setup

Fellow solar enthusiasts, i recently bought a 200w Canadian solar panel from a vendor here coupled with a 30amps CC. The highest amps i have seen is 5.2amps and 4.5amps on a average Sunny day. I don't believe this is normal because the panel maximum amps is rated at 11.6amps.

Now my installer did not remove the mc4 connectors instead he only connected the wires at the edge of the mc4 connectors. I think this is the reason for the poor performance of the panels or is 4.5amps the best i should expect from my 200w panel?
