pazienza: You don't force referendum on people who never invited you for it. This should be common sense. Niger delta republic have continuously told you they don't want or need your Biafra. What are you going there to conduct referendum for, are you the one to call referendum for them? Are saying they are not wise enough to know what they want? Don't you see how insulting and insensitive your call for Biafra referendum in Niger Delta is to the people there? you mean the ones that received bribe from Nigeria Government, and so you know referendum isn't a thing of force, it's either you're IN or OUT. |

pazienza: It's happening. Imagine ropping the likes of Igala in Kogi into Biafra. One wonder what they are smoking there. What Igbo man would want such a Frankenstein monster country after enduring the tower of Babel called Nigeria?
How about us having our Independent Igbo only beautiful country, where Igbo language would be the lingua franca for education and all governmental proceedings. Imagine how cool it would be for Biafra law makers to be debating issues in Biafra senate using Igbo language, national Anthem in Igbo language, teaching core science subjects in schools up to University level in Igbo language. No more shouts of Igbo domination.
How cool will that be? Wonderful right? Why would any right thinking person sacrifice all that for a hopeless ethnic heterogeneous country where Pidgin English will be the lingua franca?
Ana afucha ebe ana echi ozo jebe ebe ana aru agwu? cool i like your vibe, but you can't cut people off without giving them the right to choose. Hold your rantings till after referendum. I don't want to label you an afonja |

LegendHero: He is a Tinubu boy but he has a mind of his own.
He had issues with Tinubu before the 2011 election in Lagos and normally if he was not strong Tinubu would have played an Ambode on him.
But Fashola is damn too strong and a hurricane for anybody to just delete like that. You will see I purposely tell you he is brave, I have my reasons for that.
Lastly, Tinubu is a talent seeker, he is also a master strategist and it is good that Fashola graduated from his school of thought and sharpened it more to become better than his tutor.
Asiwaju is an achiever on his own, so Fashola will be proud to be called his boy/disciple. Who among your own past governors of 1999 class are as relevant as Asiwaju in the current dispensation? 1. 1st of all if fashola and tinubu had issues before the 2011 election in Lagos like you claim there's no way fashola would have made those ministerial appointments. Secondly you think fashola is too strong to delete like that, lol, even osibande is not too small for tinubu to delete. Thirdly you feel tinubu is a talent Hunter? lol, maybe fashola a lawyer maybe brilliant but tinubu simply searches and only hunts for loyal stooges. Lastly even none of my governors are not in tinubu's class? i must say it's a thing of joy because none of them have been selfish enough to enslave the revenue of their states in the hands of their family and extended family. Tinubu is simply a greedy and selfish politician that concerns himself only about the welfare of his family and loyal subordinates |

LegendHero: No one among all these people beats the profile of Fashola. He is intelligent, brave, and a master strategist.
A leader must be bold in carrying out policies even if it sometimes hurt the people for a greater good. Fashola is damn so intelligent, give him the country to rule and see the changes that will follow. Makinde/Adesina are just too weak-hearted to rule a crazy country like Nigeria.
Peter Obi/Kingsley Moghalu don’t have the record of Fashola. Watch the first senate screening of Fashola in 2015 and you’ll understand the respect the man controlled all over Nigeria. Each of the senators have something good(adulations) to say about him whether PDP/APC.
Don’t judge Fashola through the performance as a minister, there is little he could do with this crazy country as someone under an incompetent president. Nigeria will never get good electricity with the mediocre nation we are running. Corruption from top to bottom and everybody seems confused since 1999. If you like make Obama your power minister, he will still fail. Sometimes you can only effect real changes when you are the leader and not subordinate.
Fashola will win Peter Obi not because of nepotism or tribalism, but based on their individual profile and their past performance as governors.
I can beat my chest anytime any day, that Fashola on the ballot will beat Peter Obi if the electorate were to vote without religiou/tribalism sentiment. Their profile and achievement in government will be the yardstick to judge them. fashola don't have a mind of his own. He's simply tinubu's boy |

micynute94: TL;DR
Geo-Domain Sold for $100 (Abeg no vex. Once I register the singular version, would release the name ) Duration: Less than a week Sales type: Inbound Marketplace: DAN
LONG VERSION
Something funny happened this week ehn and I'm still thinking of my reaction to the event. Could I have done much better?
Any advise would be appreciated.
During the Network Solution $1 promo era, I registered one name laidat and did a lot of outbound but everybody was telling me they weren't interested, so I kept on slashing the price until a lead told me he was interested.
After a lot of going back and forth, I decided to sell the domain to him for $55. But d lead didn't pay. I kept on messaging him as the domain was about to expire but he kept giving me excuses. Until the domain expired.
I still kept disturbing him since I could take advantage of the grace period to transfer the account to him as I had gotten the Auth. Code from NetSol.
The man didn't answer me o..
Always ignoring me until I told him I para for him that I wouldn't message him again. He asked me to lose his email and never get in touch with him again.
And, I did just that!
The name expired and I let it go (last year).
I was in the process of getting rid of the (expired and sold) domain lead contacts I no longer needed this week when the guy emailed me and asked if the domain was still available.
I quickly went to WhoIS to check the availability of the domain and it was still available.
So, I decided to register it at NameSilo since the guy company domain name is also registered there.
I told the guy it was available, sent him a purchase link and he said he would get back to me after hearing from his marketing team.
Later on, he asked if the price was still the same or has changed.
I told him the price has been reverted to its retail price, which was $450. As the reason we initially agreed to sell it for $55 was because of a promo we were running at the time, which has ended.
Knowing how "stingy" the guy is, even though he is the VP and his company is a very big one in the city.
I told him the reserve price is $250 and I could get it for him at that price, which is a good deal based on the ROI he would get from using the name.
He later messaged me today in the morning that if I'm willing to sell it to him for $100, he wouldn't need to wait for his marketing team before he pull the trigger.
Now this was where I got scared. As I didn't know what the verdict from the marketing team would be.
I tried convincing the guy to pay $165 ($150 + 10% charges). But the man no even reply me again.
So, I had to send another message a few minutes ago and let him know he could get it for $110 ($100 + 10% charges) if he pays today.
Just received a sales alert from DAN and I've pushed the domain to DAN NameSilo account.
My question is, could I have played this any better?
Should I have risk it and wait for his marketing team?
Although, I had it in mind to contact other companies since I still have their contacts with me. But liver no gree me....
The only takeaway I can see from this is ... Just because a prospect told you that he isn't interested in getting your domain doesn't mean he wouldn't be interested in the future.
Sometimes, it's all about waiting for the right time. As there are more than 1001 reasons why your domain might not sell quickly.
All of which has nothing to do with regging a bad name. lol , there was no marketing team. The guy you sold the domain to is probably the ceo/owner. Who (staff) buys domain with his money without waiting for confirmation from the marketing dept |

Odkosh:

I noticed that after the name of that brave man than challenged the Chinese on their soil was revealed as Dayo Lawal after the mistake made in his identity that have made the igbos here on nairaland jubilate as if they won world cup and shooting igbo amaka and beat chest like gorilla, they are not happy because they have be returned the favour.
They mocked other tribes in that first thread, telling others how they are cowards and don't have ball to do such. Some even said no other tribe can do that except igbo.
But when they man's name finally revealed, and others started returning the mockery, they quickly resorted to their usual way of victim playing. Opening thread how igbo amaka ko concern anybody.
Who cares how you praise yourself. so far you don't involve others. You can shout igbo amaka even inside ocean. That one na your headache.
Same people that talk about other people foods, telling yorubas how Amala irritate them as if anyone force it on them. As if that smelly Akpu that cause people to spit is anyway better.
Shouting how ewedu is a bad soup, Ewedu that has its own nutrients without adding anything and being eating in Egypt, Brazil and North Africa in general. Yet they will be comparing it with one soup called nsala, a soup without any nutrient, no other people eat it with them, which kind soup be that. Yet they will start claiming victim ehen you return the favour.
They shout about how yorubas like parties as if the yorubas borrow money in their hand to do the party or come to borrow from them after the party. What a tribe full of Vo-yeurs.
All I want to tell una is that, stop your stupid victim play you do play when others pay you back in your own coin.
OMO YORUBA NIMI O swagger nobody asked you all these. On the boldned i challenge you to present your evidence before we digress further |

Whenever igbo answers question online (be it reddit, quora nairaland or any other site) they always sneak Diss the yoruba especially if the question is about tribes. Yoruba are peace lovers but hate disrespect and will fight back if pushed to the wall. Nobody care if its igbo Amaka or nah. Just respect the yorubas and we'll respect you back.

i want to point out ignorance of some so called Nigerians on this forum. Many people can't breathe when they hear the phrase "IGBO AMAKA" as they feel this is chest beating by the great IGBO tribe.
I want to categorically say that it's absolutely none of your concern how a tribe decides to "pat themselves on the back" due to their exploits home and abroad and making this nation proud.
I notice a lot of people can't hide their "envy" and "jealousy" when they hear the phrase "IGBO AMAKA" which is not a derogatory word to any human or tribe.
The meaning of that phrase is simply "Igbo is Beautiful/Good" and i don't see how that should be a problem to anybody.
Sons/Daughters of the land (Nwa afors) i want to encourage you to continue to hail and praise the good exploits of our tribesmen in order to set good example for the upcoming generation.

On the issue on ground, Nigerians will always be Nigerians, y'all should know that those saying that Rob guy didn't say anything wrong are correct and those that also said he did everything wrong are also correct. why am i saying this? as long as both of y'all ignore the guy (rob) y'all continue to make your Cheddars.
I'll propose one simple solution. "Stop Sharing your sales on namepros" As you know it attracts attention of envy, Nigerians being cheap e.t.c.
Pls and pls, be like that guy that has been domaining/cashing out since 2013 (even if you have to kiss ass). y'all don't want them blacklisting us like those survey sites are doing?
55% of sales on Dan.com from my research are Nigerians and 65% of them don't report sales on namepros. Be like these guys so domaining will come to stay in naija.
