what we noticed is that a good nematicides will control not only nematodes but visible insects like cucumber bettles,hoppers, caterpillars for 20_30 days,,but during dry season like now the insect attack has moved to the microscopic level,you will have a full insect invasion and you will barely see them,i highly doubt if nematicide can control spider mite,broad mite,thrips,whitefly,aphids,these are the common insects during dry season and they are the most difficult to eradicate.,

spraying every 3 days is necessary sir. Nematicides control soil borne attack and can't substitute foliar insecticides (organic or inorganic)!
If you can't carry the entire 16L load at once, carry half full knapsack or pay someone to do it for you...even greenhouse farmers dey use knapsack Oga

I really don't like to spoil people's market, but I just witnessed the height of wickedness from some of them;
If you are a neolife and or gnld super grow marketer, I wonder the difference btw you and the Nigerian politicians...imagine a supergrow marketer telling a newbie into farming not to waste money on manure, fertilizer, and agrochemicals as supergrow will do the work! The said individual followed instructions and bought 2L @8k, the farm is gone and he did not harvest upto 3 bags from more than 2500 stands of cucumber. God will specially punish some people o. I really pity gullible Nigerians, now it's dry season, they will come again and tell you all manner of stories quoting research bodies and papers that don't exist, some will personally attack me, the only thing I will ask from any supergrow marketer is this, snap that container and highlight the NPK values of the supergrow for me to see...
Supergrow is only an adjuvant and a surfactant with very little fertilizer attributes, and when 1l is sold 4 4k, why not transfer that money into buying maybe 5-12 extra bags of manure depending on the cost of manure in your location, and enrich your soils for a better harvest( a very fertile soil can give you more than 12harvests o).
If you want foliar fertilizer, go straight ahead and buy foliar fertilizer like di grow, agrizyme, multi-k, and many other well known brands. If it's soil fertilizer, you can buy organic manure or inorganic fertilizer like the NPK, DAP, MKP, urea, and many more available types.
If you want a surfactant and an adjuvant, then you can buy supergrow. It's good, but can't replace soil fertilizer and manure.

U are not using the right pesticide. Go for Abamectin (punch) or Imidacloprid (Imiforce or Courage) or emmamectin benzoate (Caterpillaforce or Hallakat). Irrigate well. After irrigating, dig few inches into the ground in several spots. If it is not wet, irrigation is poor.

Least I forgot, cover both top and bottom of leaves with the pesticide. That's how u deal with stubborn pests.

I have sprayed a mixture of laraforce gold 50ml and sniper 10ml per knapsack twice within an interval of 4 days but they keep increasing in their numbers when I checked them again this morning.
pls help me urgently

stay tuned to the channel,we will dissect the cost and expenses to start up a tomato farm and we have our scales ready to weigh everything that comes out,so we can have a very clear picture of the Dynamics of tomato farming.also I have a feeling that a well managed tomato farm can rival a cucumber farm in terms of revenue generated considering the cost of tomatoes around my Axis,let's not jump to conclusions only time will tell.

I know this is a cucumber thread but it must be expanded to accommodate other veggies instead of opening a new thread I have decided to share my tomato adventure to my fellow farmers so we will be properly guided we have grown different vegetables over the years but tomatoes has been a no go area for virtually every farmer in my location for reasons I can't tell,so now after digesting information from threads from jethro,obataobi,farmerakinloye ,jidestroud and others,we have taken the plunge and was assisted with Padma F1 seeds from cedaagrochemicals,it will be a test on 2-3 plots,if it works,a big IF,we will expand to an acre,

brother in this hot dry season what u see u take ,cucumber optimum performance is in a night temp of 15c and daytime temp of 25-27c,but unfortunately that is not the case here,last week we had an average daytime temp of 35-38c,it reduces yield and stifles growth with more male flowers than females,all this things are why a bag of cucumber is selling for #6,500 in Onitsha now.and that premier seed #500 per satchet in veggie farming run away from cheap seeds
