Tochex101: Foolish people everywhere, not even one person mentioned you can apply for remarking. OP I believe you, go to their office and request for remarking, you'll be surprised at the number of people you'll find there doing same. Nigeria is a failed country. How can one request for remarking? What are the processes? Will one be charge for it? |

nextstep: Yes... just like in University, one covers different courses simultaneously without problems.
Fidelismaria, the suggestion by ibkayee to start with Python certainly has merit. However, I've also come to realize that you can gain a better understanding by wetting your feet in all. Do you know any site i could learn these programming languages from without needing a physical tutor? |
Business › Re: 5 Under 30 Youngest Successful Nigerian Tech Entrepreneurs by Fidelismaria: 4:39pm On Mar 20, 2020 |
ibkayee: All ke?
Fidelismaria, definitely don't do that lol, especially as a beginner
Pick one and start from there, easiest is probably Python, but you can do your research to see which one aligns the most with whatever you want to do. Then when you have the basics down, branch out from there Thanks for your input |

nextstep: In Nigeria, web-based languages are the thing: Python, JavaScript/Node, PHP, Ruby, Java, Rust
You should start with them all. Spend 1 week on each, and rotate. All the tools to develop are freely available.

nextstep: Sadly, if SARS should encounter any of them... they will be immediately suspect due to their appearance. As an occasionally bushy-haired programmer, I can say there's remarkable freedom to think about real problems if you're not taking too long on grooming. Not that one should be dirty, but I've worn my hair bushy and face unshaved for weeks.
When people complain, I just smile and shrug because I'm in my zone - after all I'm not a banker or salesperson that needs their approval. Then they are shocked when I return from the barber because I be fyne bwoy. Oh I see I want to venture into programming What programming language do you suggest I start with? |
