Look where Eladde is, that's the location Kenyan camps was attacked, that's not even a Kenyan sector under Amisom mandate, Ethiopia has been slowly withdrawing its troops to deal with home issues forcing KDF to stretch its troops futhure in order to protect herself.. This has resulted in having to deploy extra troops that are not part of Amisom inside Somalia.

I think right now what Somali needs the most is massive training of SNA by different countries so that somalians themleves can take over...the pace of traing somali troops is too slow...Amisom should not still be doing protectioning of captured areas, there only mission should be offensive leaving defending to SNA.
All the firepower that KDF is acquiring will only be utilised under sector 2, what about the rest of the sectors?

, I was reading about a project on the website of KMA, they want to map out Kenya's seabed for blue water economy, It will double as fisheries patrols.. A crew from Kenya navy will be running the ship but KMA researchers and scientist will determine what happens in day to day activities ( somewhat like in the beggining of 'the last ship) ..
So in the nature of their mission to protect Kenya's blue economy, they will need to be capable of apprehending anyone they encounter violating their mandate thus OPV


The other research ship we have (donated) is called MV mtafiti a swahili word for research .
This one is called Doria (MV Doria) means 'patrol' in swahili... So we can guess what its meant for..

But he has a valid point anyway.. Their is a reason why Israel likes to strike their enemies and even potential enemies fast and hard with devastating effects (effects that can take even years to recover to pervious form), if they feel threatened...
Israeli knows they don't have space for mistakes, if they strike they make sure they finish you cause they know they can't fight a long conventional war with a another country with unlimited bodies to replace and oil to use.. One mistake on Israeli side and they are toast, one ballistic missile gets through and 1/4 of the country is gone..
