R40 MILLION= ~$2MILLION DOLLARS IS WHAT WE DONT HAVE RIGHT?

Who said R40 million is $2 million? I have even said over R 40 million and that was when R to a $ was just R9 or less.

You chicken out because you know you blundered for calling a simple outdated video conferencing equipment a modern C2 system.

I have always said it. That one doesn't look anything like a C2 system, rather a video teleconference.

Bwahahahahaha…

grin grin

IBLAWI is heavily drunk from palm wine and doesn't even know how does a real C2 system look like. It uses computers and not just a television. That is a video conferencing and I am 100% sure about my claim. The reason is as follows. There is no C2 that looks like that in the whole world.

The information, communication and technology equipments you would need for video conferencing are as follows.

Video input: video camera or webcam

Video output: computer monitor, television or projector

Audio input: microphones, CD/DVD player, cassette player, or any other source of PreAmp audio outlet.

Audio output: usually loudspeakers associated with the display device or telephone
Data transfer: analog or digital telephone network, LAN or Internet

Now can you see telephone receiver? Yes. It is just an ordinary video conferencing that can be organised by any knowledgeable and skilled person.

Nigerian Regions

Nigerian States

All states have 2 or more cities, with Lagos State having the most at 8

Don't be a fool. A state is just the equivalence of a province. The only difference is that a state enjoys more independence from central government than provinces.

It does matter, when you are clearly ignorant and choose to displace that ignorance to the world, embrace not just yourself, but the Nation of South-Africa.

Lagos State has 22 million people

Ogun State has barely 4 million people living there

Calabar a city in Cross Rivers state in the South-South region has barely 800,000 people

Enugu city in Enugu state the South-East has under 1 million people.

Population draw all boils down to commerce
For unitary states we use provinces and for federal states we use states instead of provinces.

We use regions for both unitary and federal states.

Three provinces can make a region and three states can make a region as well.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 12:12am On Jan 21, 2016
Henry240:

It is an equivalent to regions in Nigeria. There are 6 regions in Nigeria, with 6-9 states in each region. Lagos State is in the South-West region.

Lagos State has at least 8 cities in it. Ogun State also in the South-West Region has at least 2 cities, Rivers State in the South-South Region has at-least 4 cities, Delta State also in the South-South has 3 cities. And so it goes!

South-Africa has 9 Provinces or Regions.

Next time apply some common sense.

Region can never amount to a province. For example, three provinces can make a region. So don't confuse regions with provinces.

Do you even have a functional brain at all?

Lagos is a State.

Gauteng is a region.

"On what basis do you want to even compare a region with a state?".

Gauteng province GP. It is a province.

The general as the project manager went on to buy ordinary video conferencing equipment and load them in a truck so that Commander in Chief can be able to communicate and even assess the situation through televideo communication. This is 100% not a C2 system.

Look here and I quote about who designed and constructed these toy machines

The project is designed and constructed by Major General C T Olukoju of the Nigerian Army.

http://www.nationalhelm.com/2016/01/photos-checkout-treasured-mobile.html?m=1

C2 system is complicated and uses ultra technology that cannot be put together by one man. Now here in Nigeria it was put together by one man and perhaps in two days. A general for that matter and not even group of top engineers.

NIGERIAN MILITARY IS A JOKE

What's the definition of a C2? What does the eagle system do in relation to the definition given by NATO or the Australians?

This is the question, not whether you can or cannot do it.

Anybody with half a brain can set up one, it's not rocket science.

I am ashamed that you would call an ordinary video conferencing a C2 system.

The 1988 NATO definition reads: Command and control is
the exercise of authority and direction by a properly
designated [individual] over assigned [resources] in the
accomplishment of a [common goal].

The Australian Defence Force definition is similar: C2 is the
system empowering designated personnel to exercise lawful
authority and direction over assigned forces for the
accomplishment of missions and tasks.

So what does the Eagle system do in relation to what NATO and Australia defines as C2?

You must go and learn more about C2 system and you will soon realise your mistakes.

1. According to the military definition of C2, an officer + map + radio = C2

2. Its a statement of fact with regards to SSA (in the military sense)

3. Nigeria simply does not poses an intergrated data-link or the ability to wage net-centric warfare - you lack a battle-feild management system, BLUEFOR trackers or advanced information sharing networks. At best Nigeria posses's node-to-node capabilities.

The simple fact of the matter, is that the SANDF posses's the most advanced net-centric warfare capabilities in SSA. Again, some nations may have node-to-node set-ups, but no one else has our level of fusion or integration.

Accept facts and deal with life, your hubris and your ego will be your downfall.

Seems some people here need serious education to be taught about C2. They don't even know what is a C2.

That the Nigerian contingent was in South-Africa to waste their time and tax payer money isn't in doubt. The Nigerian Navy operates a comprehensive Regional Maritime management System. The Army operates an advanced C2 system, technology is widely and comprehensively deployed in the Nigerian military.

Our views are completely clear.

Nigeria does not have a C2 system fool.

Your 1990s technology ordered equipment is making SANDF, SAN, SAAF become near obsolete in todays 2016....you went shopping for weapons 20 years ago !

You see why I say that you are a fool. I asked you to read so that you would not embarrass yourself. SAN subs are using home grown technology developed by SAAB grintek you fool. They are fully fitted with the latest technology, you fool.
