EVarn: That depend on the RCS of the object targeted. Gripen has an RCS of 0.1 sqm. Which is impossible to detect in that distance. 1 Like |

DO YOU KNOW THAT GRIPEN WILL EVEN KILL JUNK FIGHTER ARMED WITH ONLY IRIS-T WHILE THE JUNK FIGHTER IS ARMED TO THE TEETH. REASON. GRIPEN HAS A LOW RCS WHICH IS ALMOST UNDETECTABLE. RADAR MEASURED IN RCS. http://www.angelfire.com/falcon/fighterplanes/texts/articles/bestfighter.html 2 Likes |

AugustineAgain: So is that your own source? I am asking to allow me to destroy you with your own source and here I quote from your source: The detection range for targets with a radar cross-section of 5 square meters is stated to be ≥105 km (≥85 km in look-down mode). Surface sea targets can be detected at up to 135 km 1.Now see here when it comes to radar search there is a difference between hard ground targets and sea surfac targets. Do that research. 2. JLF-7 radar fitted to the Junk Fighter can detect targets with radar cross section (RCS) of 5 square meters at >/=105 km. Now, Gripen has an RCS of 0.1square meter, almost has stealth capabilities. That means Gripen will remain undetected on the JF-17 avionics until to about less than 20 KM. That will be a lot risky especially when Gripen is armed with a BVR weapons. I hope you can now see why is the Junk Fighter weak. 2 Likes |

agaugust: You are truly demented. Just because Nigeria does not have TDL and now it is of no significant value. You are mad. Why would NATO preserve it? To America is like a paradise. TDL is different from ordinary radio communication. Radio communication can be intercepted easily and even be distorted by the enemy especially when the enemy possesses TDL. We told you that TDL is instant messaging. If you don't understand it is your own baby. 2 Likes |

AugustineAgain: You are dreaming again. Wake up!!! You can have all weapons of high tech but if you don't have TDL you will be defeated easily. Why do you think NATO does not want to share it with anyone. The answer is because they will want to defeat you easily. Give Burundi TDL and see it defeating Nigeria without any fuss. |

AugustineAgain: Bwahahahahaha… Link ZA is a success in every way. Why would SANDF today want all their weapon systems become LINK ZA compliant if their TDL was a failure? Jealousy has made you mad. Run and run and never be seen again because you are a shame. 1 Like |

AugustineAgain: There you go playing race cards again. South Africa is the land of Africans, Whites, Asians, Coloureds. Why do you like to polarise South Africa? Did you ever see any of us polarising Nigeria in its ethnic groups? Apart from whites, South Africa would still have been bigger than Nigeria because is endowed with minerals. 2 Likes |

agaugust: It is many times faster since TDL is immediate. How does it come that you don't know TDL when you always claim to be jack of all trade. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 7:51pm On Jan 07, 2016 |
agaugust: TDL is immediate since you can directly see what frigates and aircrafts see. C2 can be as modern but is not network based. It still operate in isolated unit. TDL-MTN is more like one screen showing many images from different platforms. Gripen can see what our frigates, submarines, ground troops see at the same time and other platforms likewise. When one platform locates the enemy all platforms see immediately in pictorial view. They will all see what enemy is wearing, what is he carrying and how many are they. With all this network in place, communication will be as immediate just like your front door camera is showing you that there is someone knocking on the front door. Surely, your camera will not tell you after seconds that there is someone coming. Once your camera catches your visitor, your monitor will tell you immediately and if someone is sharing a monitor with you on the other room(s), you will both see the same thing and will not even need a phone to alert each other about the visitor. 1 Like |

agaugust: Who said Junk.Fighter has monopoly of shooting first? Gripen has a low RCS meaning it will have advantage over to shoot first. I challenge you. Gripen makes mach 2. http://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/gripen/ |

iblawi: That speed is.definitely high, it will outrun the Junk Fighter. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 6:26pm On Jan 06, 2016 |
Stealth fighters have a low RCS meaning whether you apply speed or not your cover cannot be broken easily. So a junk fighter which does not have stealth is racing with a speed of a tortoise. It won't even catch F7. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 6:22pm On Jan 06, 2016 |
agaugust: F35 is stealth fighter Junk Fighter is a multi role meaning it is an interceptor as well with a tortoise speed |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 6:11pm On Jan 06, 2016 |
iblawi: Dummy!! F35 is a stealth fighter, its speed was compromised for its stealth capabilities and as such you won't see it coming. Dummy!! |

Foreign Affairs / Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 5:59pm On Jan 06, 2016 |
iblawi: It is too slow for a 4th gen fighter, even third gen will give it a run for its own money. Actually the Junk Fighter is 3rd gen fighter made as a late comer to confuse the likes of Nigerias. It is only good for BH not against other fighters. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 5:56pm On Jan 06, 2016 |
iblawi: My killer fighter makes mach 2 while your Junk Fighter makes mach 1.6. An interceptor which will never catch its peers. It must be called Sheppard because it will always be at the back. |

agaugust: Don't make us children we know how to read. The federal government only budgeted for three JF17s. http://www.punchng.com/fg-to-spend-n65bn-on-warplanes-weapons-others/ Maybe it might come back to buy more junk fighters when MTN pays. However I don't see that as the possibility. MTN will not pay. 1 Like |
