IamNat:Don't mind them. They have money to waste. |
Lol! ![]() Primary that is not supported by the party. This is how people waste their resources for no just cause while that money could have changed a lot of people's lives. Primaries that cannot be broadcasted live on ANN platforms, is that one primaries? LOL! |
Yes |
TEAM FELA DUROTOYE ORGANIZES A DINNER TO CELEBRATE HIS VICTORY AT THE ANN PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES. It's been brought to our notice the propaganda that is currently going around that Fela Durotoye and the National Chairman of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) were seen at a Night Club after his victory at the ANN Presidential Primary celebrating "APC largesse." Fela Durotoye and the National Chairman of Alliance for New Nigeria and are both responsible men with wives and children who will never have anything to with a night club. Let it be known that this is a flagrant attempt by enemies of Fela Durotoye and ANN to discredit them and ridicule the party for their decision to stage a fair and transparent primaries which obviously didn't go as they dubiously wanted. Even the video attached to support their claims clearly shows that it was a dinner with seats and tables set to match the occasion. Here is the link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7tFhZlQDKY On the other hand, the link from which this nefarious lie was sourced obviously lacks any form of genuineness. Unfortunately, nobody will take time to look at such detail but they are all there. To avoid any doubt, here is the link: https://mrrightsng..com/2018/10/exposed-durotoye-and-suspended-ann.html?m=1. For avoidance of doubt, here is a video clip of the dinner organized at the restaurant of the RichBridge Hotel by Fela Durotoye's campaign team in honour of him to celebrate his victory at the ANN Presidential primaries: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1-DFFind6Y The question is, do you sing praises in a night club? Do you pray in a night club? |

DamienW:We don't need such in the New Nigeria. We need men from a brand new stock not men who will rather sink the destiny of their nation because of their selfish gains. |
Youngsage:Exactly! Thank you for this amazing response. |
This is a blatant lie. Fela Durotoye will never go to a night club. My advice to anyone reading this is to know that all these lies are being fabricated to discredit Mr. Fela Durotoye. Ofcourse, when a fruit is ripe, people will definitely throw stones at it. It's unfortunate. |
PRESS RELEASE BY FELA DUROTOYE Tuesday, 2nd October 2018 Lagos, Nigeria A few days ago, my attention was brought to an article that alleged that “APC deployed 1.3billion Naira to stop Hashim as Fela Durotoye got N750m to split ANN”. The article further alleged that conditions for my receiving this money stated that after my campaign would have gained significant momentum, I would step down for the current vice-president. My initial reaction was to consider this piece of fake news to be a crass joke and ignore it, knowing fully well that this is absolutely FALSE and there is no iota of truth in it. But realizing that we live in a generation where whatever trends on social media can often be mistaken as truth, I felt it would be necessary to be clear on this matter. For the avoidance of doubt, I have never been offered nor have I ever received any money from any political party, interest groups or religious bodies. I have also heard rumors that my campaign has also received funds from the Redemmed Christian Church of God (RCCG), which is also absolutely false & untrue. Our campaign has relied on donations from everyday Nigerians, paid into a single account of The Fela Durotoye Support Initiative. I am NOT a signatory to this account, have never taken or utilized a kobo for any personal expenses and we have been very transparent and faithful in the use of those resources that have been donated by the sacrifice of hundreds of people who believe in our mission to birth a New Nigeria. Secondly, may I once again clarify that I have NEVER been a member of any political party prior to joining the Alliance for New Nigeria on the 22nd of February, 2018, nor have I ever supported or been associated with any political party, particularly, the All Progressive Congress (APC). These allegations are driven by the campaign organisation of a former aspirant and member of the party, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo Hashim (former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the PDP) who formally withdrew from the race, on Friday, 28th September 2018, just one day to the Primaries. I had earlier been attacked by the Campaign Director General of his organization, claiming I am a pawn for the APC. In fact, my attention had earlier been drawn to a statement credited to the Gbenga Olawepo - Hashim Presidential campaign organization dated September 28, 2018 and signed by its Director General, Rt. Hon. Terseer Tsumba which stated that a “certain Presidential aspirant is fronting for some powerful interests in the All Progressive Congress (APC) to destabilize the Alliance for New Nigeria” Being the only other Presidential Aspirant apart from Mr. Hashim on our great party, it was therefore important that I responded to these false & misleading allegations. Therefore, on the same day (28th September 2018), I formally wrote to the Chairman of the party (Mr Emmanuel Dania) and copied the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (Dr. Nkata Chuku) addressing these allegations. I have always maintained a civil and cordial relationship with Mr. Hashim and had twice earlier told him that if he won the party primaries in a free & fair manner, I would respect the wishes of our party delegates and therefore continue to support our party ANN and throw my weight behind his candidacy. Interestingly, when I asked Mr. Hashim if he would do the same for me & support my candidacy if I won the elections, he simply replied that if he wasn’t assured of a win at the primaries, he will “opt out of the race”. The truth be told ... I always knew that the political establishment would play dirty, but I have & will consistently uphold my Core Values and run a clean campaign; free of mudslinging & personal attacks. In fact, I have been criticized for never attacking individuals or political rivals. To be clear, my focus has never been about generating sound bites that trend or making character assassinations. Indeed, I have focused every one of my statements & posts on building a New Nigeria and uniting all Nigerians. I have consistently shown respect to all other aspirants on this race and have encouraged us all to have better collaboration and NOT bitter competition between aspirants whether we are in the same party or running on different party platforms. I have always believed that we are all running for a New Nigeria and that is all that matters. My social media platforms will prove this. So for the record, I have NEVER received any money from any political party and I never will. I am not fronting for any candidate or party nor will I ever. I intend to run this race and with your help, I intend to win the Presidency of our great nation and to lead the team that will deliver Good Governance required for us all to build a New Nigeria. As I have done in times past, I ask that before you believe or share fake news, please go online, do some research and ask hard questions. The internet never forgets. Please remember that what TRENDS and what is TRUE are often two different things. Trends come and go, but the truth will always outlast trends, no matter how long it takes. So seek the truth as you see the trends. God bless you and may God bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria. FELA DUROTOYE Presidential Candidate Alliance for New Nigeria |

FELA DUROTOYE Presidential Candidate Alliance for New Nigeria

58 years ago, on Saturday, October 1st, 1960, an impossible task was birthed by young men & women in their 20s, 30s & 40s. Their purpose was to birth a new Independent Nigeria, free from colonial rule and was self governing. Young people like Anthony Enahoro, Funmilayo Ransome Kuti, Margaret Ekpo, Hajiya Gambo Sawaba, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and many others came together for a single goal, irrespective of their tribe or religion and achieved our nations independence and cemented their place in our nations history as our heroes. 58 years later, even today, it is clear that while we are independent, we are not yet free. Our nation is bound by vested interests who have successfully kept us impoverished as they divide and rule; using contraptions such as zoning, state of origin, tribe & religion. Whilst the task of a generation was to bring us an independent nation, clearly the task ahead of our generation today is to deliver freedom to an independent people. I believe every Nigerian must be free from fear of armed robbers, kidnappers, terrorist & “security” agents. Everywhere across the land, every Nigerian must be free from poverty, preventable diseases, free from the sound of generators & melted wax of candle, free from taps without water, schools without education, hospitals without healthcare, free from pot holes that have robbed our roads from safety & our electoral commission must be truly independent to deliver to us free & fair elections. Everyone must have the right to freedom of association, expression & information. We must all be free to dream & accomplish our dreams even as we hope & work for a better life & brighter future. Today, destiny calls on our generation ... on everyone from Abia to Adamawa, Bauchi to Bayelsa, Akure to Akwanga, all across the land a generation must arise to come together for a common purpose, to build a New Nigeria. A nation that works. As we celebrate our 58th year of independence, may we all be reminded to Arise, o compatriots, Nigeria's call obey To serve our fatherland With love and strength and faith The labour of our heroes past Shall never be in vain To serve with heart and might One nation bound in freedom, peace and unity. As we approach the future of our nation, someday, we will be mentioned as “heroes past” So while we are yet in the present, join me as I pledge to Nigeria, my country To be faithful, loyal, and honest To serve Nigeria with all my strength To defend her unity And uphold her honor and glory So help me God. Happy Independence Day God bless you and may God bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria Fela Durotoye

The promise of the Nigerian youths being the leaders of tomorrow and the future of this nation is forever going to be a lie and will never come to pass if we are waiting for these old and recycled politicians to hand over power to us willingly. Whatever we do not confront will forever remain our experience. These old "leaders" will never leave the reins of power unless we rise up to fight and take back our rights. And by fight, I do not mean by violence or war. The truth is, many men are not slaves because one man is an oppressor; one man is an oppressor because many men have chosen to remain slaves. It's an unfortunate situation, but that is the story of our Nigerian youths and I will prove it to you. We take stolen money in the name of trying to "hammer" and we offer services that we know its end will further enslave us, our loved ones, our friends, our families and ultimately mortgage Nigeria's destiny. We are like the biblical Esau, we sell our birthrights on a daily basis for an ordinary bowl of pottage. To a large extent, it is evident that a lot of us no longer care about the outcome of this nation. We choose to be selfish, going about our day to day business as if our jobs or business will remain if Nigeria suffers destruction. We fail to understand that whatever touches Nigeria touches us and whatever it is that we do to bring bread to our tables. Today, these politicians are now in the business of pushing propagandas in order to discredit and destroy any worthy attempt to birth a New Nigeria. And guess who they hire to promote their wickedness? You and me, youths who are gifted and talented in the use of words, graphics and technology. When they want to steal ballot boxes, rig elections and initiate violence when things don't go their way, who do they hire? You and me, youths that are known for strength and physical ability. They pay us and we run their wicked errands while their children flourish abroad. We are happy we have connections to corrupt politicians and we are happy to eat from the crumbs that fall from their tables. Instead of demanding for our rights, we have chosen rather to beg for what rightly belongs to us. Alas, we are slaves because we have chosen to remain slaves. These old and corrupt politicians are our masters today because we have aided them. We have chosen to be a part of the problem rather than be a part of the solution. This is the story of our Nigerian youths. Today, being our 58th Independence Anniversary is not just a day to celebrate but a day to ask ourselves soul-searching questions on how we can be a part of the solution instead of being a part of the problem in this race to a New Nigeria. I have a few ideas: Turn your passion, talents, expertise and skill into a weapon to frustrate every plan to further enslave us and our nation. Write if you can, design if you can, act if you can, mobilize people if you can, influence others if you can. Use all that you are good at to propagate the movement towards the New Nigeria but not against it. Most of us have great number of followers online and offline, people who will jump if we ask them to because they know, like and trust us and our judgements. Let's influence them to take actions that will promote the New Nigeria dream instead of remaining mute as if we are strangers in our own land. Most of us also have deep pockets. We can use our money to support good causes, projects and candidates who share our values and hope for the New Nigeria. Let's get involved in anyway we can no matter how small the amount may be. Each and everyone of us have relationships with people. Let's get our loved ones involved, let's get our family members involved, let's get our friends involved. Let's get our employees, customers and dependants involved. Let's get our businesses, our churches, and our treasured connections involved. Otherwise, I fear that our children and generations to come will inherit poverty, chaos and war. Insanity, Albert Einstein did say, is doing the same thing over and again and expecting a different result. Until we change our thoughts and actions, Nigeria won't change. We must understand that the New Nigeria dream will forever remain pregnant unless you and I contribute to her delivery. It will forever remain a dream unless you and I wake up to bring it to reality. It will forever remain impossible unless you and I make it possible. Let us arise as compatriots and let's all obey the clarion call for the New Nigeria. Let's do all we can as youths to take back the remnants of our fatherland. The labour of our heroes past should never be in vain. Let us serve our nation with all our heart and might so that once again we can have a nation that is bound in freedom, in peace, in prosperity and in unity. Happy 58th Independence Anniversary. God bless you, and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Effiong Edentekhe The Word Carpenter The New Nigeria Series

To all believers of A New Nigeria. As you may have heard, Fela Durotoye won the ANN Presidential Primaries yesterday 29th September, 2019 May we use this medium to say, Congratulations Mr. Fela Durotoye and congrats to you too, because this win is for you. When we started the vanguard for A New Nigeria, many doubted us, a few kept their fingers crossed, but you believed and stood by us. As we progressed, we saw a party and a man whose values resonated with ours and when we endorsed him, you gave us all your support. Today, we can boldly and joyfully say, this victory is for you, for believing in A New Nigeria and committing to making it work. That said, as much as this victory calls for a celebration, it also comes with a deep sense of responsibility and a higher call to duty, as what played out yesterday clearly showed that money has a limit. Money failed yesterday and come 2019, money will fail anyone or group who is not willing to birth A New Nigeria. We are getting to the point in this nation where men and women of integrity will be promoted and those who lack integrity will be demoted. We know it's a process, but most importantly, we know we are making progress. All we ask of you today is tell at least five people that "integrity pays and they should not sell their votes come 2019". Please receive our best wishes, as we ask you to actively join us in birthing A New Nigeria. A New Nigeria Movement |

UTILITYMAY:Thank you for clearing that up. Some of this people are obviously paid to do what they do. Time will convince them... |
bilms:I hope you never complain about how bad Nigeria is. Were you at the presidential primaries yesterday? Any talk is cheap. Keep talking. But I would advice that you choose to be part of the solution rather than be a part of Nigeria's problem. |
brickswrites:It is sad that some Nigerians like their situation very much. How can you even say such a thing. Atleast you should have the fear of God. Fela Durotoye is a man of international repute. He serves God genuinely and his integrity has been tested over and again and it will still keep being tested even in this season. Fela Durotoye would rather die than be involved in any form of corrupt practices. Time will tell, and all ye naysayers will be proven wrong and you will all cover your faces in shame. |
The Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) held its first New Nigeria Policy Conference and Presidential Primary at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja today, the 29th of September 2018. The event witnessed a great turn up from all the delegates who came from the various parts of the country to partake in the very first Presidential primaries of the budding party including Mr. Fela Durotoye, the last standing presidential aspirant, after Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim announced his withdrawal from the primaries just a few hours to the event. The epoch making event began with the accreditation of all the delegates from all the different states represented at the event followed by speeches from principal officers of the party after which Mr. Fela Durotoye presented his pitch as was requested to the delegates of the party on his plans for the actualisation of a New Nigeria. Mr. Fela Durotoye's pitch was very well received as was evident in the resounding applauses and joyous shouts during and after his speech. Other invited guests were also given the opportunity to share their thoughts on the New Nigeria to expect. Delegates then proceeded to cast their votes, and for their respective aspirants under a free and fair process with INEC officers who were present to monitor and observe the entire process. After concluding the voting process, the votes were sorted and counted in the presence of the INEC observers, the party delegates, the press and the general public including viewers who connected to the event online. The results were announced with Mr. Fela Durotoye clinching the victory with a total of 240 votes against 7 votes for Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim. It was a landslide victory. Amidst shouts of joy and celebration, Mr. Fela Durotoye was announced as the Presidential candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria come the General Elections scheduled for February 2019. In his acceptance speech, Mr. Fela Durotoye reminded everyone of how young people like himself were faced with the impossible task of gaining independence 58years ago. In his words, "In a few days, we celebrate 58 years of our nations independence. A task once considered impossible, was birthed by the courage and sacrifice of young men & women in their 20s, 30s & 40s, like Anthony Enahoro, Funmilayo Ransome Kuti, Margaret Ekpo, Hajiya Gambo Sawaba, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and many others. These everyday Nigerians laid their lives down to birth a New Nigeria; a land of peace, unity and opportunity." He went on to say in his words that "The New Nigeria will not be built by politicians of old or by the system that has suppressed our greatness. It will be built by everyday, ordinary Nigerians, people like you and me." He called all Nigerians who were tired of the old Nigeria and the failed way of doing things to join him in the pursuit for the New Nigeria and acknowledged that he couldn't do it alone but with the collaboration of everyone who truly desires a New Nigeria. He ended by asserting that he is not arrogant to claim to have all the answers. In his words, "I am not arrogant to claim that i have all the answers, but I am humble enough to say that I am willing to learn and will listen to all your questions. And with such a great team beside me, the hopes and dreams of Nigerians before me and by the Grace of God above me, we will deliver a New Nigeria, starting on May 29th, 2019." Fela Durotoye knelt down in gratitude to God for his success at the presidential primaries. Fela Durotoye will be contesting the Presidential elections come 2019 polls under ANN against other emerging presidential candidates from APC and PDP.

Most definitely. I will vote for him again and again. |
This is how God answers prayers. These people think they can continue having their way and ruining the destiny of Nigeria and Nigerians. Thank God for a party like this who know why they are in the game. |
In the New Nigeria, money will surely fail. |
cbrass:Truly ANN is the difference indeed. |
