Thats right boys and girls, the big time developers known more for thier console game releases have staked a claim for the mobile gaming market.
EA some years back acquired a mobile game studio named Industrial Toys who had released an on rails FPS called Midnight Star

And more recently EA have acquired another Mobile game studio namely GLU MOBILE.
Some of you peeps on here may be old enough to remember that Glu Mobile have been around sinve the Java OS Mobile Gaming era....Ah the old days
We can only speculate what plans are in the works for the 2 studios they have gotten but as to what is on ground right now EA have released the mobile version of Apex Legends on soft launch in select countries

Aside this , EA have also revealed plans to bring thier BATTLEFIELD franchise to the Mobile platform!

This title already has console release and has now been ported to mobile.
The wacky and outlandish art style of the game really caught my attention.

It plays out as an adventure RPG with the hero as a Duck who uses exploding eggs as his main attack.

Bitter in that this game was originally anounced for Mobile platforms as far back as 2016
But was delayed and then released only on consoles much to the annoyance of mobile gamers like myself.
However it seems sweet fortune has smiled on us as the developers have announced that HUNTDOWN thier Retro Cyberpunk action shooter will finally come to Mobile sometime this year ! Check out the original 2016 trailer

As the title implies this is the second installment of what was initially an endless first person runner zombie shooter *Phew ,what a mouthfull *
The studio responsible for this game PikPok studios have really upped thier game from the simple score chaser that the part 1 gave us to a full fledged narrative driven story into a zombie apocalypse.

Since you are asking i assume you have an android phone. with that in mind you actually have a few options .

If you want to be patriotic & help a fellow Naija brothers hussle then you can go for Retro2me emulator. This emulator has a beautiful UI but is not the most powerful emulator as a few games will not run on it.

Another option is the J2me Loader , this emulator dors not look as beautiful as Retro2me but is more powerful and has more screen display than Retro2me .

If you have a bluetooth GamePad controller then you can use it to play the emulated game by way of the Octopus Keymapper app on android.

The Star Wars Cinematic universe is on a bit of a break right now after the release of The Rise of Skywalker.
With regards to the Future ,the owners of the Star Wars franchise are dipping into the Past..ironicly with a slew of projects from live action series to ...yes , a new Star Wars comic series titled STAR WARS: THE HIGH REPUBLIC.

The stories to be told are set 'Hundreds of years before the Skywalker saga during the golden age of the Jedi.
Maybe you loved the recent trilogy and maybe you didn't but go ahead and scope out the first 4 panels from issue 1 of the High Repiblic that dropped a little whole ago.

The studio behind mobile game hits Deemo, Cytus 1 & 2 and Implosion: Never lose Hope have dropped a 'Concept video' for thier latest upcoming title 'Binary Gods'

A quick study of the concept video implies an isometric veiw ,hack slasher with heavy influence of anime techno action.

Anybody who has played Implosion: Never lose Hope from Rayark will immediately see the DNA of that game here. Rayark have a record of quality games on mobile so needless to say i am really looking forward to more news on this title, until we know more check out the concept video below

Even with all the challenges of 2020 we always found a way to keep ourselves happy and with a promising new slew of games , shows and comic

I don't know what is wrong wit mine now, i got to a stage and the game will just crash, it kept doing that at that particular stage.
Probably the file is corrupted or the file i downloaded isn't the complete version.

Just finished this on PPSSPP with PS4 GamePad, highly recommend it.

Bluetooth GamePad compatibility is the best thing to happen to Mobile Phone Gamers.
