Firstly, I will say that women is an ediot and whatever it is that is causing her to behave like that should not be passed on to an innocent person like the engineer.

Secondly, my fellow engineer. When you went there ehnnn, didn't u get a warning light stating there was no paper in any of the trays?

Or any text message warning?

That's th first thing u must check because in my office when our customers from different countries calls and explain their problems it will take u a good 2 hours just to find a solution only to get a slap in the face when u find the solution because u will say to urself u could hv got of the phone a lot sooner if the user had told u the correct information.

Some users sha I am fed up of them at work they think they know more than u.

Op, just take heart ehnn. Ur job there is to help fix ur clients IT issues and what u experienced is part of a normal IT experience.

What is wrong with being dark and liking dark. Black don't crack and the darker the black the less likely you will even slightly crack. I am dark and I love dark men. Not oily dark, cool dark with firy red lips. If my child comes out dark the better. When your light and the sun hits you get uneven skin tone. Dark people don't have to worry about that. Look at Nnena from America's Next Top Model.
GBAM!!!

Tell him for me oh as if we shouldn't like dark men. I am not dark myself but k hv always preferred dark men.

Dark Guys all the way!!!

I dnt know there is just something about them that draws to me maybe coz I prefer black men to white men.

Lighter skinned men r full of themselves though. They think sey coz dem be yellow paw paw u should bow down to them..Ta!!!!

But in reality I prefer ur character than what u look like. If u take good care of urself then that's fine by me.

RomanceRe: Why Do Ladies Flare Up When Asked These Two Questions? by Filashade(f):
Quick question:

Why will any guy in their right senses ask a girl if they are a virgin?

Especially if u can guys just met?

Its only Nigerina guys i see do that. U guys r too nosy. Y dont u wait till u get to know her then find out urself.

The ladies have every right to flare up since u hv no manners.

But I dont know why a lady would get angry if you ask her her age? I mean so what if u look older than ur age? Deal with it!! Such is life!!!

Also i thought guys said they dont want no virgins so why u lot complaining? U want experienced babe. So get an experienced babe and leave Virgins for real men and not immature boys/players who just want to hit the cuchi.

Seriously Nigerian men r something else.

I tire for dem sef.

I just give up. U nigerina guys r already thinking about sleeping with her even though u just met her abi?

Is okay..

On the other hand, I dont blame the wife for dissolving the marriage, I mean what kind of woman in her right mind would take such rubbish from a man?

Anyway am happy for her now she wont have no more test been conducted on her loool

I hope no man out there is now going to be performing this kind of tests on their wives oo??

FoodRe: At What Age Did You Cook Your First Meal? by Filashade(f): 11:40am On Aug 26, 2015
I started cooking at the age of 9 in Jamaica.

I remember I had to get a chair and kneel on it coz the stool wasnt tall enough.

My parents used to laugh at me.

I only cooked like frankfurters, eggs and breadfruit. I burnt the frankfurters but after learning from that one, I made sure to not burn the eggs and the breadfruit. Only me ate this with my buttered bread.

My dad was impressed but Mom was shouting "U not going back into da kitchen again. U nearly burn down d house. Imagine if me or ur pupa never dey here? My god. Luk how d pot black like duns river" *in my mum's jamaican voice*

I didnt think it was that bad. She was exagerrating.

Since then I would occassionaly go to the kitchen and boil eggs instead.

But I started cooking for my brothers and I at the age of 13 as my mum only cooked for her and my dad.

Now am an expert and i still cook for my brothers.

Hello,

I BC'd (Big Chopped) last year Decmeber and I have been natural since so no perm or braids as my hair was damaged and wasnt growing properly.

Since the Big Chop my hair has been growing nice but I noticed now that my back hair is only one growing fast but my top part of my head is medium length.

I noticed though that when I cornrow and oil my scalp my bottom side of my hair grows.

What do you think I should do to make them the same length but I dont want to cut them again?
Christianity EtcRe: Bishop Oyedepo Says Ladies Attitude Today Is Why Marriages Are Failing Much. by Filashade(f): 6:06pm On Aug 24, 2015
This thread is remarkeable

Why do they always blame women all the time?

Everywhere i go women this women that

Seriously I tell you solemnly our world is doomed for disaster

And this man calls himself a Bishop?

Its both Parties that need to be blamed not just women.

Men for being unfaithful and also women as well but women for wanting material things before anything else.

You cant blame the other party when they are both at fault.

Men say they dont want Virgins as wife but yet make fun and degrade women that are not Virgins.

U guys can never be satisfied.

I swear to God. Am sick an tired of hearing/ seeing this shit everyday.

Kilode?

They want so much expectations from women but yet the men can do whatever they like abi? The men can loose thier Virginity anyhow? The men can have as many wives as they please? The men can do whatever they fucking please right?

CultureRe: Which Among The Three Major Languages In Nigeria Is Fast Going Into Extinction? by Filashade(f): 9:19am On Aug 18, 2015
For me I would say the Igbo culture. I have noticed this in films and around me as well.

The Igbo's only want to talk english/pidgin english, when you ask them to talk their language they start misbehaving and insulting you.

Whereas Yoruba people speak Yoruba with pride wherever they are.

Its only the old generations of Igbo that I hear speak Igbo not the new generations.

So yh the Igbo culture.

CultureYoruba Incantations by Filashade(op): 11:34am On Aug 10, 2015
I have been listening to a lot of Yoruba incantations especially the one in Yoruba movies and on Spotify.

I just wanted to find out, if I sing them out loud does that mean am calling out the Gods or will anything occur?

Because I am a catholic but am trying to broaden my Yoruba knowledge because I feel much more closer to my Yoruba side?

And if any of you know any Yoruba incantations can you list them here and translate them for me.

The incantations i know r the ones praising Ogun, Oshun, Obatala etc

Your answers would be much appreciatedsmiley

You are right. Methinks the solution is quite simple. Get folks like Davido, Wizkid, Olamide, et al to start reading!

Since these guys are like the gods, the idols, that most of these youths are looking up to as well as imitating, it won't be so difficult then to get these youths to tow that line.

Imagine wizkid tweeting about the latest book he just finished reading and inviting his fans to discuss the characters in the book! Imagine Davido starting a competition about who will give the best summary of a novel of his choice! Just imagine Olamide writing a book himself!

OMG!
Cant wait to see that day come o.

And novels and literature will solve the problem? How about motivational books? I will pick a newspaper over a novel anytime, any day! The older generation place too much importance on these literatures. There are many other ways of learning, Even the so called TV and GSM the older generation have condemn so much are better suited for learning than novels. A simple scrolling through Nairaland or watching top international news station, Documentaries etc would benefit the youth greatly. We are in a capitalists system, Economics/Entrepreneurship is the way! Not fantasy, Eze goes to school stuff blah blah. I will suggest motivational books, how to survive in this wicked capitalist system to my kids than one fantasy novel. Both those that read all day and those that doesn't still end up in the Labour market or worse unemployed.... You need something more to be exceptional and that "Thing" isn't in novels and Shakespeare's poems.

You have set a goal for yourself. Complete your university training, and then to establish your own living situation away from your parents. that should be your parents goal for you as well and they're trying to help you get there. You should know what you need to do to achieve your goals as an adult. A child will want to move away from her parents just to get away from the parents and because she thinks she should be able to open her legs for any man she wants to. An adult will want to move out (from her parents house) because she is genuinely ready to.

It sounds to me as if you are not quite grown up-nothing wrong with it. Most university students are still children and should be considered as such--even though they're labelled as adults they're not.
Ok....

Firstly, I am not that stupid or naive to open my legs for anybody as if am dumb or something. Hell nooo.

Just because someone wants to move out of their parents house dnt mean they want to do stuff that will get them in trouble. I just want to move out so I can stop hearing all the noise and shouting in my house every God damn second even if me and brothers didn't do it we still have to pay for the consequences.

I think if u met me personally u will know am not the sort of person to do such especially rebel against my parents.

Just because am still going to uni dnt mean am still a kid lool. I dnt know y people label 20 year olds as kids still but we r meant to go and find work abi? Lool

Thanks for the advice though.

FamilyRe: How Do You Control A Rebellious Teenager? by Filashade(f): 10:44am On Aug 07, 2015
I dont mind parents who discipline their kids but what i hate is when you are clearly an adult and your parents are still treating you like a child.

Like me for example am freaking 20+ and i cant talk to no guys especially or even talk to any one especially Nigerians/Jamaicans coz they are wild people said my dad.

I serioulsy think some parents are bloody over protective from the day i was born i cant make no fucking decisions for myself without getting my parents involve even now that am going to uni i try not to let them know what am doing coz they r so controlling.

I love my parents sha but its too much i cant breathe when am around them even to have a normal cconversation i dnt want.

Me when i have my own kids i wont make them be afraid of me like i am to my parents.

The worst thing is I am more afraid of my parents than God. Which in itself is scary to say out loud.

Nigerian parents need to cool down on the overprotectiveness especially to their daughters coz they r just driving their kids to rebel. They dont give us no privacy what so ever. I dont even want to talk to my parents one bit coz it just leads to arguement.

I have never reblled in my life but yet my parents think i have. They think once am out of the house am a differnt person when thats not true. For so many years have been trying to show them that thats not true but am just wasting my time.

cry cry cry

Seriously cant wait till when i finsih uni then i am moving out kiakia so sick and tired of them already.

shegsky:
But why is it that only girls are asked to keep their virginity? What about us men, eh? I have read a lot of posts and comments that talk about girls keeping their virginity, and some guys even insult those that are not virgins.

But my question is this: Is it only girls that are meant to keep their
virginity?

What about guys? And again how will a lady be able to keep her virginity when guys are always asking for sex then turn around and
insult her for losing it?
It is not only women that are expected to be pure, guys should be pure as well. You want a lady to be pure, yet,
you won't stop asking for sex. If she still refuses, you try to make her weak in her
defence. Yet, you will come online or elsewhere and shout about girls keeping
their virginity until marriage.. Are we immune to virginity?

Let’s stop asking ladies out, and even when they accept to date us, don't ask them for sex.

Help them to keep their
virginity until marriage and stop putting the whole virginity and purity struggle on them alone!

Just my humble opinion though.

Thanks!

@ Filashade, do not ever stop, okay?
Even if one lived in the western world for a hundred years, and blocked all people they knew from the "backwards place".....

They would always be from Africa.....the whites they seek to please and be transformed into, would always, always wish they where far from them....
They at times prefer lions to them...true

CultureDo You Celebrate Indepence Day Abroad? by Filashade(op): 11:27am On Aug 05, 2015
I just wanted to find out if Nigerians or (half Nigerians) celebrate Independence day abroad?

I still do but its now seen as "Show off" by my white colleagues over here.

I was talking with one of my Jamaican colleagues about Jamaican Independence tomorrow and was told that no one really celebrate it anymore but they dont want people thinking they are trying to show off their country in any way which will make people treat them differently.

I am confused because it seems the people who i meet nowadays are ashamed of their identity.

For e.g someone who has lived in the uk for 7 years says he is British not Nigerian even though he was born in Naija and lived there almost his entire life? He even says he cant stand the Nigerian culture?

It is only only him so many people especially the younger generation of Nigerian/Jamaica

Ehnnn mi i no understand that one oo

Y do people do that?

Any responses will be appreciated!!!
