I believe so too.

With the way, I have seen friends, family and colleagues complaining of their relationship just baffles me.

What pained me the most is someone who I know very well in fact am related to that person and yet never knew the person could cheat. Chai!!

There is no good faithful people out there anymore.

I dont blame her for waiting. Whats the point of wasting your life dating over and over again only to get your heart broken each time and yes Men hate commitment like I am not even joking. I know what I am saying. Most men nowadays just want to sleep with u and thats about it really and I dont want no one to tell me but women need to change their ways, Are you telling me that every woman who every guy dates is after his money, doesnt know how to behave or her character doesnt show wife material? Come on. Lets be serious here.

I don't care if anyone disagrees with me but since I was a little girl I have seen all these from such a young age that now am just getting used to being an adult, I don't even want to worry myself about relationships or men anymore. Cheating is now the norm and women are having more than one bf's and men also and marriages dont last anymore only a few but even those are also miserable so please tell me why would someone waste their time getting married when people who are married or in a relationship are miserable?

Ladies please dont put all ur heart into a relationship. Yes if you are in love just love a tiny bit and keep the rest open.

Also do not start acting like wife material to guys when he hasnt put a ring on it although marriage these days dnt seem to last but thats another topic for another day.

Also do not stay in a relationship for too long. Usually guys know who they want to marry within 6 months of courting that person so if the guy hasnt proposed lets say within a year or maybe 1 year and 6 months please start looking elsewhere.

There is no point you wasting your time with someone who has no intention of making an honest woman out of you.

All I see now is men calling women hoes and men cheating and women cheating and marriage ending in divorce.

Dont even want to know how the next few years will be, every day it is just getting worse.

Even though I am in a relationship, I am not gonna put my whole heart into so that when he does decide he doesnt want a future together, I just go jejely and also ladies DATE outside as in do not just be dating black men, date men of all races. I dont wear makeup coz I have been brought up like that since I was a teenager and my dad doesnt really like it so it has stuck with me ever since.

I like my skin the way it is so dont want it. I just want clear lipgloss and I am fine.

I love it when a man is bold enough to tell his girl he loves her, I like roses, chocolates, walk in the park, eating at Nigerian restaurants and just cuddling with my man indoors or playing around round the house.

All these girls who dont like that have not fell in love yet. If my man doesn't like to cuddle I get pretty upset quite quickly or if he doesnt compliment me every now and then or if he doesnt say I love you every now and then I dont say anything to him and I do my own too.

Men are complaining that women dont like these things but generally that is not the case. The two guys I have dated before my current relationship found it hard to say "I love you" and even to cuddle sef na big wahala. I put up with it because I wanted to see where it was leading and I wanted to tell myself in then end that at least I tried and they were not worth it.

Men also take nice ladies for granted. It goes both ways. In my case, the men do it more.

I love a man who shows his woman he cares not by buying her expensive things but by doing small things like texting her good morning without waiting for her to text first, I for one find that very childish and annoying if you can go a whole day without messaging your girl or even calling her. You cant be too busy to text your girl before leaving the house or first thing when you wake up in the morning. She wants to know you care and you are thinking of her when she is not around you and vice versa.

I feel sad that I dont see beautiful things like these in my era. All eryone wants to do is chat on FB, IG, Twitter and whatsapp and no face to face communication or better still they are on Xbox/PS4 playing Fifa/GTA.

I dont know maybe I am asking for too much from men and men are not made that way.

I am not even certain about my current relationship as I have just experienced and seen too many things expecially with Nigerian Men and Black men in general.

I am a 2nd Line Support engineer. I have been working as an engineer since for 3 years and two months now since the age of 18+ (just one month shy from 19). I love computing and cant change it for anything else. As much as I love computing, I hope to one day open up a charitable company to help those in need as I hate seeing homeless people and I was faced in a situation whereby I noticed a lot of young teenagers get threathened by their family etc and I was once one of that child who my dad was overly strict on me that he wouldnt let me do anything and when I refused to follow his rules which meant I was always locked up indoors alongside my 3 brothers he would threathen to kick me out but obviously I have stood up to him and he can no longer threathen me with such words because I am now independent.

I hope to one day break from that freedom and help those are in my shoes.

I also hope to have my own mansion in the next five years by Gods Grace, God will see me through. Amen.

I dont depend on my parents so I would never ever depend on my man. I love to hustle and work hard and I hate sitting around doing nothing because during my teenage years since I wasnt allowed out, all i did was read and read and stare at the fall walls which killed me years after years so sitting around doing nothing bores me to death. I love productivity and helping the need.

Combining work and academics isn't that easy but I heard it's better overseas than in Nigeria. The learning standard and environment there is also a plus that might favour you. It will only take much effort and time from you. I pray you get what you desire.

Are you sure after experiencing the good life and comfort over there, you will come back full time to Nigeria? Most of my friends that had the opportunity of running their masters in Canada, US and UK never thought of coming back to Nigeria. They gave so many reasons to stay back but racism is another challenge they are faced it.

lol..believe me i never suspected any fishy deals surrounding my ex, This very experience with her were she happens to be my very first love, and a cheat with my snake of a friend has affected how i relate with people. Seriously, back in 2013 before breaking up with a pretty lady whom i've come to know for four good years before we start dating two years before the break up.

I've never cheated on her with another, its this relationship with no intimacy involved in, i so loved her to hurt her in any way thinking she love me back the same way, but i was totally wrong as it was all but a sham.

I end up spying on her phone not that i wanted to but it all happene out of curiousity, any ways. It all began when she dropped her phone one day in water and it went dead. So she called me on pay phone to tell me what has happened, told her to first remove the battery from the phone.

And since i could fix phones and have my tool kit at home, i ask her to bring it over so i can check it out. Luckyly, i brought it back to life. But Meanwhile, before laying hands on her phone, she has no choice than to gave me her phone's password to see if all is well with the phone after fixing it.

That was when i get curious to check her messages because when ever we're together she never like me touching her phone for a minute and even if it last longer it has this annoying password that activate it self after some time..lol.

When i scroll through her messages that day, i came across a recently sent but disturbing text messages from the date on it, well hidden in her phone and sent from a lover. Where they were discussing hot erotics, calling each other with pet names, etc.
Mehnn.. my hair all raise at attention on seeing all that.

I've never in my life felt that kind of pain, its like am being stabbed in the heart. And guess who the secret lover she's exchanging those hell messages with? After my little investigation i discover the other Lover happen to be my very own friend and that hurt so much that i can never trust any one anymore. What i still don't understand is this, why double date and waste her time with me if she's rather in love with another??

I called her to come pick her phone, and till date i never told her what i know about them, i silently end the relationship by creating other excuses and avoiding her and that friend in the middle.

I see nothing wrong spying on some one you think is in love with you, but get ready, it is very painful.

I dont see anything wrong with spying on your partners phone. If they dont have nothing to hide then they should be able to give you their phone easily.

I had this issue with my ex, he was Jamaican and half portuguese (I should have stayed clear but anyways). This guy whenever I ask to see his phone or rather just recently two phones, this mumu just dey lie they tell me sey him no know which phone him they use and he was just fiddling with his phone(s) and doing all sorts and i knew what he was doing. He is one of those guys who flirt a lot with ladies and am so serious and I also knew he had a girlfriend which he has been claiming is his ex who is pyscho, so many things happened that whenver I see him (we work in the same company but different departments) my body just they boil. I have never hated anybody so much in my life. I willingly used to give him my phone without even complaining at all coz am a faithful person and he just never lets me even touch his phone. I should have known better.

I ended up meeting my current partner a month right after I broke up with my ex. I am still watching but he hasnt given me any concern so far but we will see.

My partner doesnt work not because he cant find work but because when he had work any lady he dates always ask him for money and usual stuff so he decided to stop working and since he is a University student he is not really affected that much.

Then I came into the picture and I didnt care that he wasnt working because at his age I never expected him to be working maybe doing something on the side etc since we are only in our early 20's. It doesnt matter what job a guy is doing as long as he is hustling to make ends meet that is all that matters really. I am not much to banter over what a guy earns or whether he is broke or not. As long as he isnt lazy and he is caring, understanding, honest and trusworthy and God fearing then that is fine. Plus I work as an engineer myself so I dont see no reason why a lady should be after a guy for money. A woman's role is to help her future partner to bring up a home not to destroy it and misuse it. Your meant to help your partner and likewise.

A lot of girls fail to realise this that yes Money is important but not that important (i.e to survive yes but not to live a lavish and expensive lifestyle. You must first work hard and later on you can enjoy all you have worked hard for).

Ladies my age (22) dont really see this its only when they reach maybe around 30 or so they start to re-think but by that time its too late.
