How to Have a Healthy Vagina. You may have been taught early on to cleanse your vagina daily with strong soap or "feminine hygiene" sprays, but these practices can actually do more harm than good. To have a healthy vagina, clean the area with hot water only to avoid disrupting your natural pH, change menstrual products frequently to prevent bacterial growth, and wipe front to back when using the toilet. You should also adopt some minor lifestyle changes, eat foods that boost your vaginal health (e.g., yogurt, fruit, garlic), and do Kegel exercises to keep your vaginal area healthy and strong overall. 1 Wash with hot water only. It may seem counter-intuitive, but washing your vagina with soap, whether it's bar soap or liquid, isn't the best way to keep clean. The vagina actually stays quite clean on its own without the help of outside cleansers.Like other parts of the body, the vagina has a pH level that needs to be maintained within a certain range - 3.5 and 4.5, to be specific - in order to prevent the growth of unhealthy bacteria and facilitate the growth of good bacteria. Using harsh cleansers can upset the balance, leading to infection, irritation, and even bad smells. People often refer to the entire area "down there" as the vagina, but remember that the vagina is actually the tube-like muscle located inside your body. The vulva, the skin outside the vagina, may be cleansed with no-frills bar soap, as long as you don't find that it irritates your skin. If you do end up washing your vagina with soap, make sure to thoroughly rinse it with warm water so that no traces of soap are left behind. Soap left inside the vagina can cause irritation. 2. Don't use douches or feminine sprays. Douching with chemicals that are supposed to make your vagina smell like a field of flowers actually ends up having quite the opposite effect. They wash out all the healthy bacteria that helps your vagina stay clean and infection-free. The chemicals left behind by douches can cause irritation and even burning, and the same goes for feminine sprays. If you keep your vagina healthy using other methods, there will be no need to try to make it smell different. Scented creams marketed as a way to change the smell of your vagina can cause the same problems, so these should also be avoided. The same goes for scented pads and tampons and scented wipes. If you feel like you absolutely have to use a scent on your vagina, go for something completely natural and chemical free. You can make your own body spray by mixing a few drops of an essential oil like rose, lavender or lemongrass with water in a spray bottle. Use the body spray after showering, and make sure you're completely dry before getting dressed. 3. Have good hygiene during your period. Many women experience an increased rate of vaginal infections when they're menstruating, since having blood in the vagina changes its pH and throws things out of balance. To stay healthy during your period, practice the following habits: Change your tampon frequently. Tampons absorb menstrual blood, and if you leave them in too long, you're keeping the blood in your vagina where it can change your pH. Make sure you change your tampon every few hours to keep this from happening. Don't use pads or panty liners for longer than necessary. Wearing pads and panty liners all month long or after your period is over can lead to skin irritation. Consider getting a menstrual cup. These rubber cups are inserted in the vagina to catch the blood, then rinsed out with hot water every few hours. Menstrual cups are a chemical-free choice for handling your period, and they can be really helpful if you tend to get irritated by tampons and pads. 4. Wipe from front to back. It's important to wipe from front to back, rather than the reverse, to keep fecal matter from entering your vagina and causing an infection. Use plain, unscented toilet paper to wipe. Avoid using wet wipes or any other product that contains perfumes and chemicals. |

So before you die for your APC or PDP hero, or before you fight the entire community because of any of the artificial divisions created by the intelligent humans to control and subjugated others, rethink your life. -Anonymous

Fayose overbearing, has no respect for PDP – Ex-Chair The Pioneer Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Clement Awoyelu, has accused Governor Ayodele Fayose of being overbearing and lacking respect for the party’s constitution. He also said the governor lacked respect for party leaders in the state, hence, the need to reclaim the party from him.Awoyelu, a member of the Board of Trustees of PDP spoke during the swearing in of the Chief Williams Ajayi-led faction of the State Executive Committee of the party in Ado Ekiti on Thursday. A Federal High Court sitting in Ado Ekiti had on Tuesday ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to recognise and deal with the faction pending the final determination of a suit before it. It restrained the commission and the PDP National Secretariat from relating with the faction loyal to the governor where Gboyega Oguntuase had emerged as the state chairman. The former Senate Deputy Chief Whip, who claimed he had no personal grudge with Fayose, said reclaiming the party from the governor remained the best option to save the party from imminent destruction. “I have been in the party politics for more than 50 years and that is why we are trying to restructure our party. We will never sleep until we reclaim our party from Governor Fayose. We are ready to correct all the wrongs in our party. “I have grouse with Fayose in two ways: One, I have never seen a state where governor will be the one to appoint councillorship candidates. This is wrong because it is the duty of the party leaders. He disobeyed the party guidelines. “Secondly, the governor has appropriated the party to himself. The governor has not attended any meeting at the party secretariat, instead he relocated the party to his house in Afao Ekiti. This, we will not tolerate. “I have been a member of the PDP National Executive Committee since 1998. Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo , Umaru Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan were attending meeting at Wadata Plaza in Abuja. But this is not so under Governor Fayose. “Governor Fayose was not in Ekiti when we formed PDP. He didn’t know anything about PDP. And we thank God that the election of the new SEC and the verdict of the court have shown that God and the people have rejected the governor. We have reclaimed the state from him. “As SEC of the party, you have nothing to fear because the court had validated your victories. You should ensure unity in our party and bring every aggrieved member on board,” he said.A former envoy to Canada and Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Amb. Dare Bejide, urged the new SEC to instill discipline in the party and make it a formidable force to be able to win elections. Ajayi assured the party leaders that he would pursue unity and ensure that the party stood united.Bejide hinted that the verdict of the Federal High Court had validated the mandate of the faction. |

Most Nigerians don't realise we've been living in The Matrix. This subsidy removal is the red pill that may wake us up to reality. We are poor. We are broke. We've been raped, pillaged, looted and left for dead. All these years our economy has been sustained on the junk food of corruption. We have kwashiorkor but because we look chubby we think we are healthy. Those two bedrooms in Abuja going for N700 million. Those make up artists charging 500k and pre-wedding photo shoots for 700k. Aso ebi for 90k. Buying Rolexes and Ferraris. Range Rover Sport all over Lagos like keke napep. It is all fake. It's all a mirage. We've all been living off the spoils of corruption. That's why the country is so hard now. No money circulating. Because no money to steal and rent flats and shops for girlfriends. For civil servants to pay bogus tithes of N500k. For senators to spray dollars at their daughters' weddings. For lagos big boys to spend N2m every Friday night at nightclubs. It's time to face reality. The party is over. Now we may see the real Nigeria and Nigerians. Now that money will go into our roads and bridges and hospitals. It will benefit those who don't have a rich corrupt uncle with connections in oil and gas. Those who can't travel to Dubai to celebrate birthdays. Those who don't know what Coldstone ice cream tastes like. Hopefully the real estate markets will crash. The theives with 15 houses in abuja will be forced to sell them fast for cash. I would prefer if EFCC seized and auctioned them, though. All those in the service industry will have to revaluate their pricing. You can't charge 500k to paint faces anymore; free money don finish. Welcome to the real world.[/quote] |

Regular sex, exercise, minimise Prostrate disease – Pharmacist Lanre Alege, a Pharmacist at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, UITH, on Sunday called for lifestyle changes to minimise the risk of Benign Prostate Hyperplasia, BPH. Mr. Alege made the call in a lecture entitled: “Minimising the Risk of BPH” at the monthly Keep Fit Exercise for members of staff of the UITH held at the Kwara Stadium. According to him, the lifestyle changes include: nutrition, limitation of alcohol intake, exercise, sitting habit, dressing mode and regular sexual intercourse. He described Benign Prostate Hyperplasia, BPH, as a non cancerous growth of the prostate gland. Mr. Alege explained that studies in some developed countries had shown that 50 per cent of men in their 60s and about 80 per cent of those in their 80s suffered from Benign Prostate Hyperplasia, BPH. “The prostate gland is a secretary gland in the male reproductive organ which is a disease common in men aged 50 and above,” he stated. According to him, as the prostate gland expands, it squeezes the urethra or causes the muscles around the urethra to contract, making it difficult to urinate. “Frequent urination, especially at night, reduces or weakens the flow of urine, difficulty or hesitation in starting urine or holding urine or feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder after urination,” he said. “Consumption of red meat everyday triples the chances for prostate disease. Milk intake everyday also doubles the risk while not taking fruits and vegetables multiply the risk. “Men should avoid tight under wear, as it impacts on circulation around the groin and heat up a bit. Regular sex is good for the prostate,” he said. The Acting Head of Department, Nursing Services, Elizabeth Aina, lauded the management of UITH for sustaining the programme. According to Mrs. Aina, the importance of exercise in improving the physical, mental, social and emotional build up cannot be over emphasised. The state Director of Sports, Tunde Kazeem, noted that the attendance was not encouraging and charged UITH Heads of Departments to encourage their staff to always participate in the programme, considering its importance.(NAN) |
A friend wrote: The Notable Difference Between Jonathan And Buhari's Subsidy Removal Subsidy Removal under Jonathan; Jonathans government announced the total removal of subsidy on Jan 1 2012. The Facts; 1. Oil sold at 113 usd per barrel as at Dec 31st 2011 2. The exchane rate as at Dec 2011 was 1 usd to N 162.3 3. Jonathan's Predecessor actually dropped PMS price from N75 to N65 and was able to sustain subsidy whilst handling the amnesty program for repentant millitants till his early dismiss. 4. A more bouyant foreign reserve and growing ecomomy. The government's major basis of total removal of subsidy was sighted as massive corruption. Rather than deal with the monster, the incompetence of the government was shifted to the masses. Many Nigerians were not ready to make the government have more money to loot, as subsidy was still sustainable at that time. After the Occupy Nigieria protests, the price of PMS was revised to N97 per littre, with the promise of urban busses, building and rehabilitation of refineries e.t.c. It is interesting to note that the only partially successful programme after the subsidy removal was SURE-P because some Nigeirans benefitted from it without the "u must know someone" clause. Till the exit of Jonathan's government, we had no functional refineries, neither were new ones built. Please note, Boko Haram was more like rag tag millitant as at the time of subsidy removal but later grew to a sophisticated, machine guns, tanks rolling millitant. So BH as an excuse is not tenable. Subsidy removal under President Buhari. 1. Oil price selling below 40usd per barrel 2. Exchange rate of N197-N199 to a dollar and N320 to a dollar in the parallel market. 3. An ailing economy, with limited FOREX, and dwindling reserves. The major reason for the total removal of subsidy by the current government is because of scarcity of Forex and an ailing economy. NNPC could not sustain solely importing petroleum products, and there is not enough Forex to give major oil marketers to handle the importation of petroleum products. It should also be noted that the present government have been able to tackle corruption to a fault in the oil industry. The oil Marketters have now been given the liberty to source forex from other sources to import fuel which is the major reason for the high price hike. The current government have made moves which will see the price of PMS drop in the nearest future. For the first time in years we have the Warri, Kaduna, and Port Harcourt refineries working together but some misguided youths amd miscreants in the name of avengers have decided to keep sabotaging the efforts of the present government. There are also moves on ground to build more refineries. In my opinion, the deregulation of the lower stream sector is right on track at this time and I stand with Buhari on this. For now i see no reason why this government should not be supported, as they still have more than 2 years to deliver. Should the government not meet up to expectations before next elections, then Nigerians can't take their anger to the polls. God Bless Nigeria. |
You don't have to look up to God because he had tried for us,Nigeria is not the only country he created, everything is now left in our hands, okay!!! PMBisaterrorist: |
