I have seen alot of Peugeot steering wheel upside down when the tyres are straight forward. What could be the cause

Years back i foolishly bought a Nissan Altima through my mechanic after he confirmed that he knew the owner for a long time, i check the papers and all were correct with the plate number and made payment.
A week after, my cousin suggested we should go to bank to print vehicle permit reminder before going to do change of name.
On getting to bank the officer asked for the plate number to pull out other information about the car after paying a token of two hundred naira for the reminder.
All the information on the reminder was totally different from the vehicle papers with me, immediately i called a SARS officer who encouraged me drive the car to the nearest police headquarter which i did with his support though almost got frustrated at a point for twisting the case by the IPO

Before buying a car get the plate number walk into your bank to print vehicle permit reminder use it to confirm the document the seller is presenting to you
Then it cost 200 naira i don't know now

what do you mean by bank to print vehicle permit?

It's against the law to sell your car with your plate numbers.
When the buyer register the car it automatically cancel the old registration.
Your old plate number can be used to register your new vehicle. Etc.

year 2007 I bought a Nigeria used. With the plate number and also sold the car with the plate number. Maybe thing have changed in Nigeria. I haven't used Nigeria cars for long now.

Don't waste money changing compressor as there is already a virus aka black death in the AC system already.
Everything concerning the AC must be changed if not you will keep going in circles and I am talking from experience using the same car and haven tackled same issues too,
you will be needing another compressor, freezer, condenser and even all your AC pipes and tubes will go .
My brother prepare your pocket well o cos the spending no be here and if u try to cut corners by not replacing all the parts you risk infecting and damaging the new parts again.

Let the buyer of your car go and get his own plate number, so that if anything happens, the Police won't link the car back to you.

I think I will leave the car because I detect lie from him.

First I ask him if he own the car or he is selling for someone he said he own the car. But when I check his account I saw a number of car ads listing he posted. Red flag then When I ask about the AC he need it need gas. But when I check the engine compartment the condenser is missing. It seems both the condenser and the pipes where uprooted.

Also he claim it's tokunbo engine and gear that's inside. When I ask when was that he said last year. He claim the car can go anywhere. I checked on the plate number but it said not assigned to any car.

Not convinced enough to travel as I don't have anyone to help me inspect it.

Nigerians only sell their bad cars. Except on a rare condition that is distress sale.

The only places Peugeots and their mechanics abound is Kaduna and abuja, if my research is correct. When I'm going to get mine, I'll simply find a reputable dealer/person who has a long history of honesty, then, he will handle the inspection over there and send to my place. It will be easier to get a sound one in places where they abound. You get?

Get a Peugeot mechanic to follow you for inspection when you finally see one that is close by.

I still prefer the shape of the 307 tho.

getting a Peugeot mechanic in another state is hard oh. And getting a Peugeot in my current state is too pricey and not much. I might end up getting this one. But getting a mechanic I don't think it's easy oh

I have never driven the 407. But, from what i have gathered, I believe the 307 is more rugged/reliable than it is. I might be wrong.

umm. But the 407 is bigger and longer. Although I like the 307. I have an offer of the 407 SW. The location is too far for inspection. That what's holding me.

Outside the Less fuel consumption which the 307 has the 407 has more power and more passager space.

With good alloy, I don't think the civic is ugly o. . But, the reasons I got eyes on the 307 are :
1. A manual 4 cylinder will always be more fuel economical than an automatic one.
2. The 307 spots a 1.6litre engine. (There is another engine variant tho) So, again, better fuel economy.
3. I love the way the 307 responded and made me feel when I first drove it.
4. It will give me more respect (personality wise) than the civic.
5. The civic looks girly somehow. Might be my eyes sha.
6. The damn loyal die!

This Honda civic is a nice car for e hailing services. Its even more fuel economical than the almighty Corrola. Its reliable too. Go for it bro. It was the car I was considering for the same reason a while back. But, I got my eyes on Peugeot307 now.

same here. The car is too urgly. The Peugeot is more cute and look more modern.

The naira has lost it value for anyone to put them in soak away. It might be possible in the 60s,70s,80s but not this time.

the car look too small. There are no much Peugeot mechanic in the South. The few are not equipped or outdated. Peugeot seems to like alot from the south because of parts and service centers.

If the naira scarcity can go on for 6 months will inflation drop by 20% ?
