FamilyRe: My Mum Is Too Harsh; Help! by finemocha(f): 2:03am On Jun 11, 2009
@folushola

i completely understnad where u are coming from, but u know what sometimes u have to stop and think of ur mom.
try to understand the kind of child hood she had.
the type of parents she had, where they loving or cold and distant.
Imagine her marriage to your father, watchin him with all those wives and probably having to fight for a place for herself and you guys
most importantly try to think of what she gave up for u all as her children. Sometimes mothers give up sooo much for us that its only natural for them to be alittle harsch and demanding.
last but not least, learn to appreciate and deal with her. i mean after all u should be used ot her harshness by now. IT SHOULDN'T SURPRISE YOU AT ALL.
and remember, she will always love you guys no matter what, hence y she is soo demanding on her children
FamilyRe: Adjusting To Life As A Widower by finemocha(f): 1:53am On Jun 11, 2009
well just remember i know its been 3 years now, but u dont owe any woman anything. your goal on life was not to be their husband or boyfriend. take your time, get adjusted, build a strong relationship with your children, they are the most important people in your life, and when u are ready for dating you will know.
FamilyRe: Husbands Who Beat Their Wives by finemocha(f): 1:48am On Jun 11, 2009
@mcdoe

see what you said there was very very very interesting.
in basic sciences we are taught that, that phrase you said is a cycling of domestic abuse especially in individuals with TYPE C PERSONALITY DISORDER (dependent)

1. the woman irritates the man
2. tension and verbal insults escalate
3. so she knows that in other to get the attention she has to provoke him
4. the man beats the woman
5. he feels bad, showers her with gifts and tender affection
6. woman is happy for a short while
7. REPEAT.

of course this is not always the case for all victims.
FamilyRe: Husbands Who Beat Their Wives by finemocha(f): 1:37am On Jun 11, 2009

FamilyRe: Should He Take His Wife Back? by finemocha(f): 1:33am On Jun 11, 2009
well no one ever said marriage was easy. I understand y your relative would not want to be with his first wife anymore, But maybe he should try adn remember what good qualities she had that made him marry her in the first place. life can be fustrating adn sometimes when we are tested we dont always prove to be worthy. Just pray for ur relative. pray that whatever decision he makes it is the right one for him.

RomanceRe: Why Do They Keep Coming Back? by finemocha(f): 6:39pm On May 22, 2009
@ POSTER

u know, though men and women are of different sexes we still do have a lot in common. both men and women cheat, personally i feel women cheat more but men are always clueless to the truth sha. now people do make mistakes, and if it was maybe only one guy that came back i would tell u to reconsider, but the fact that majority of them keep coming back to u, that says alot about u as a person. you really need ot do some soul searching and find out what type of men u are attracted to and the ones u attract. If u can find a pattern then maybe you can fix it. human beings are like onions, we have different layers to us. as men look for miss right so do females. some ladies are always looking for the next best thing, so dont feel that its only men that do that as well. i really wish u the best of luck. and i know for a fact that if i cheated on my bf and went back to him, i really would intend to change adn be a better person. if not i wouldnt go back to him in the first place, i will just squash the relationship and bounce.
