You can say what ever you like,if you like belive it ,if you dont like dont belive it but all i gotta say is that it happens thier is no lie about it and for you that said you were born and grew up in Igboland and never believe or heard of it (let me not use offencieve words) you are a big liar,I myself was born in east and grew up here in east i know alot about my ethnic and tribe very well so for you all that said that its not possible or that it cant be true believe me its true it does happen i have witnessed the even many times and confirmed it.Chelu kam tunye gi azu e.g haven't you gone to crusade in summer where pastor or preacher is saying that "evil people or enemies of the even had send rain to disturb the crusade but he the pastor or the preacher will stop it with the name of Jesus" which i have witnessed many times and it does stop.so shot your mouth up if you dont believe or know thier is supernatural power in this planet earth |
What will you use that time do,create or archive ? |
I mean something or things they dont take for granted,When ever they see, hear or discuss about it they respect/Fear it |

I have this three question to ask my people. 1) Is ọfọ still in existance?if yes does it still have power? 2) In your town who takes the final decision?,igwe/eze,ndị-ọzọ, 3) What happened to our dear akụkọ ịfo/akụkọ ịro and egwu ọnwa,do you still remember those days? Has it died or what. |
@ChinenyeN I always respect your comment here but you disappointed me by saying that the "Igbo" started early 90s or during the time of colonization, even my 2yrs old niece will not talk that rubbish.you said the word "Igbo"started early 90s or during colonization time find, are telling me that igbo-ukwu,igboeze, is a new name or what? When we know that e.g igbo-ukwu had been there for over five centuries ago and bear the same name igbo and other communities too.see let me tell you what you dont know about igbo language, the igbo we speak today is not exactly what is spoken in ancient time take this for example how we count now is not how they count then (ancient time) e.g then ọgụ means twenty but now twenty means iri abụọ. back to question the word "Igbo" is an ancient word just like ọka(Awka),ọlụ(orlu),nrị,erị,ọkija, agbaja etc which can only be interpreted by old man that knows igbo history or good Igbo scholar,so its way beyond you okay.think again |
Please moderator what have i done to you.First you locked my two threads before and later open one when i followed all the rules correctly and now my new topic 'Official Igbo Q&A thread' is been changed to 'What is the meaning of Igbo',did i tell you that i want to change my topic?,I named that named it 'Official Igbo Q&A thread' knows the reason not you, that somebody asked the meaning of Igbo does not mean that every thing about it is meaning of Igbo alone i want you to get this the topic is Q&A (question and answer) for every thing about Igbo not the meaning of Igbo alone. Please i beg You with the name of God please change that topic to its original name 'Official Igbo Q&A thread' i dont like that name you gave it please give it the name i gave it i beg you. |
@Abagworo You are not right about the word "Igbo enwe eze",many people are confused about the actuall meaning of "Igbo enwe eze.For all of you that dont know Igbo history, culture, tradition and Igbo language. The word "Igbo enwe eze" means 'Igbo dont have king' the king there means A king that will rule the whole of Igboland or a king that will rule each tribe of Igboland,Look Before the arrival white men,Igbos dont have kings then but they have rulers not a ruler e.g like ndị-ọzọ (ọzọ is the highest title in Igboland) they are been respected and they have power in thier lands but not as much as what is now known as EZE has another one is ọtọchalụ (Is the oldest man in the land) in ancient time in Ọka (Awka) they are respected very well and any decision He takes is final they have the same power which what is now known as Eze has untill mid of 90s that we have our first Eze ụzụ but up till today ọtọchalụ-Ọka (Awka) is more respected than our king and we respect his words, judge, decisions more than our king ,those people that ruled in ancient time but not as a king.Eze/Igwe thing started when white men arrived, they (white men) were the people that brought the idea of Ezeship that time but some dont accept that then they it forced into us the Igbos.then people began to say that they dont have king thats when 'Igbo enwe eze' started. Secondly About how eze is been crowned in some part of Igboland.Eze can be inherited or by voting but it depends of the tribe or community you came, for Awka where i come from,EZE ỤZỤ (Eze) is gotten by vote from Ndị-ỌZỌ title member only and He can be removed only by Ndị-NZE and Ndị-ỌZỌ only when He did something against the law of the land but normal His tenure ends only when He dies and one year after the burial a new EZE ỤZỤ will be voted in but will be from younger (its been zone from oldest community or village to the youngest community) while others get thier own EZE by heritage or royal family like Enugwu-ukwu and other |

I think you are right about the Bakassi boys, for me they are the only people which i know now that can tackle the problem even army cant stop them, they have shoot out with army and kill some army while army did not kill any of them, three days ago they have another encounter with army and army cant go near them in Awka. those armed robber are ever ready they are not afraid of nigeria force,do you know that the first attack they did in Awka last month they came with bazuka which means they are ready for any thing and secondly they have odeshi that means gun cant kill them.that is what gave them lever to use leg to patrol almost the whole street of Awka |

My fellow Anambrarians where do we go from here?,What is happening in our dear state especially in Awka this recent times,is our state really highjacked- or taken over by gun men?,are we really safe, should we call for state of emergency ? Or should we continue living in fear?,what do the future hold for us?,What do you think our goverment should do to stop all this attack after attack of recent assassine, murder, kidnapping, road blocking, shooting every time,bank-robbing here and there and most importantly the recent taking over of our cities especially Awka by armed robbers, kidnappers etc which could last for hours without any intervention from any where.Who do you think that we should be blamed for all this things, should it be our force?,the goverment?,or the people. The reason why i raise this issue is that one day we will wake up and heard that our leader even the governor have been kidnapped or assassined which can happen if nothing serious is done fast |
