The above about sums up this party.

jerseyboy: With a damaged candidate that had murder rumor hanging over its head which guaranteed him to lose Ilesha massively. The quality of the PDP candidate affected him across state even in his own strong hold of Ife which he did not carry overwhelmingly. Again many could not get over the Bola Ige murmur. Yet a mere swing of roughly 50,000 votes would have swung the election in his favor. This was no victory at all for Aregbesola. It actually should call for soul searching. What would have happened if PDP had nominated some one other than Omisore as his flag bearer?.

APC should reflect on why all elections in its 'stronghold of South West are all billed to be tight.
The handwriting is clear on the wall... enough of serving one master Tinubu, serve the people.
Politics › Re: How APC Lost The Osun Election by Firefire(m):
Extract from the post:

APC is Antediluvian (Ancient, Primitive)

They came up with such ludicrous allegations as ballot-papers with disappearing ink. One thing is clear; the APC does not recognize any election that it loses. Moreover, the APC cries wolf in every election it is going to lose, or is afraid to lose.

APC clearly does not believe in democracy or in the democratic process. It is the party of threats and blackmail. It is the party of Muhammadu Buhari; who says the dogs and the baboon will be soaked in blood if the 2015 election is rigged. It is the party of Bola Tinubu, who declared that in Ekiti it will be “rig and roast.” It is the party of Murtala Nyako, who says there will be civil war if Goodluck Jonathan runs for president in the next election.

A dishonest party will tend to presume dishonesty in others, especially when it discovers that its traditional channels for manipulating elections have been blocked. grin

Therefore, the APC needs to tell Nigerians how it managed to rig the Osun election. Otherwise, Lai Mohammed, John Odigie-Oyegun and the entire APC party-apparatus owe Nigerians, the PDP and INEC a big apology for maligning virtually everybody just because it was running scared of losing in Osun.

Why then should the APC be so afraid of losing Osun if it were not for the fact that, instead of growing stronger, the party is actually growing weaker shocked

The truth is that it is all a figment of APC’s anti-democratic imagination. APC bigwigs are not only sore-losers, they are sore-candidates. Such temperament is not needed in today’s new dispensation. tongue

shosky1794: I will be very surprised if any sane person votes for APC in 2015 in any of these areas. Even Alimosho LGA has been neglected by this Administration and these are areas they get the highest number of votes during elections.
I'm sure they will come when the elections are close just to close up some portholes and my people are deceived by that again. As for me, I've started advising people in my area(Ikotun) and anywhere in Alimosho LGA I go to not vote for APC in 2015.
Normally I have soft spot for APC but it's time for the neglect and deception to stop.

The campaign is on: WE ARE TIRED OF APC DECEPTION IN ALIMOSHO.
You can join me in if you believe in this course because I will soon be creating a Facebook page and twitter account for this.

Victory for Democracy...

No victor no vanquished!

I am very sure APC would seat tight and never take the electorates for granted.

Congrats again Raufu, Tinubu, Fashola & APC… time for you guys to change strategy and run a government of the people by the people and for the people.

sarutobie: oh ho!? it is beginning to sink in, I have been saying it here on Nairaland and everywhere a discourse on these issues are brought up. the LGAs have been getting away with a lot of bullshit in this country. people are always wailing "our leaders" forgetting that the local government chairmen are the closest arm of leadership to the people, it is the local government who actually know the people's plight not the people in aso rock.when they fail the people, there is only little the federal AND state government can do..charity begins at home, until we begin to see the development and progress of this country as a collective duty, only then can we begin to move towards a better Nigeria.
Thank you.

I begin to wonder where the LG allocation is going to considering the state of roads and infrastructural amenities in their vicinity.

Another reason LG don’t do anything for their constituency is because they don’t need their votes, they are elected by their party leaders and are

solely responsibly to their gods and not to the masses.

With the era of NO MORE rigging… new dawn has come

sandijey: To make matters worse all the local government chairmen don't even stay at Ikotun. They abandoned their houses. Most of them stay in lekki. The roads to their houses are not motorable. My friends house at abaranje. The bus stop is called customs street. She told me how local government people came to dig gutter. They told the community that they wanted to do the gutter and the road. You won't believe this ba$tards dug the gutters to go and sell the sand. They totally destroyed the road. They didn't do any gutter nor fix the road. In fact that is what they do in Ikotun right now.you would see big lorries packing the sand. All aided by the local government chairmen.

We need to start stoning this people. We cannot start from the top. If we can start from this local government chairmen they will sit up. We have to hold this people accountable. Every month they just wait for their share of the oil money and share amongst themselves. You need to go to local government offices and see what they do. Many of them don't even come to work. They only come end of the month. Share money and go. What is so hard in doing gutter and fixing the road. Omase o.
Where is the Federal Allocation to that Local Government going huh
