@Buchiogiso Your 'The Unborn Dead' is the uncried wails of countless lives. Living but not truly living life, no chances given. Is it a coincidence , that 'Here I Am' lies in stark constast to 'The Unborn Dead'? |
Shh! Don't tell. I've a secret 'n it's bubblin' like Ikogosi's spring wells. . . Come near, please come and keep tones under. . . And enjoy the beauty of twilight's natural wonder. See that? Did you see that bird? Its plumage of browns, reds, and yellows over there-- in the shadow. . . This is my escape, you see. Escape from all the nonsense and I sigh. . . Nakama. . . this is one of the ways I praise the Most High. |
Whoa. A question : How about creating some sort of. . . barrier(is that right term?) or buffer like its being done in the Netherlands? Some sort of dam. . . ? Another, is the issue of dredging. And how it affects the coast. |

I might regret this later, and I will hurt you with barbed wired retorts if you don't leave me, and you KNOW it. Just, go okay. Too incensed, I need to breathe: 1. . . 2. . . 3. . . *Glares* |

Two dollars. . .? For a mango. . .? Seriously?! I have two species of mango trees here that I partake of in its season that I've called off BUYING the fruit. Hmm. . . Let's see: Pineapple, breadfruit, almond, banana, guava, agbalumo, awin, yeye, asala, abiodun(?), apple(the local white/pink/ bugurdy variety), Egg plant, vegetables. . . Damn, the list's endless. |
Ibk. . . ^o~ (sometimes, anime characters can be rather . . . distracting) |
Yes. We have two varieties at home. My favourite - in red-green and peach is under siege. . . Culprit: A nimble white 'n' brown pesky nitwit of a primate which enjoys jumping onto our roof--by dawn-- and on my BELOVED Cherry mango tree and wastes her by stripping! Say. . . does anyone knows where I can a tranquillizer gun? |
@Caro-baby Really. . . Do tell ![]() |
You. Have. Got. To. Be. Kidding. Me. Can those reflectors withstand the elements?! They look delicate. . . |
Sean, I meant the first pix. And some else advised, cut out the heart. I remember grabbing alot of 'em when I was younger- My gramps would bring a whole basket full of 'em! Love it! Anyone got any more recipes apart from the usual boiling or frying? Soursop is nice too. |
Grasshoppers aren't the only edibles. There's locusts, these huge wiggly cream larvae in palm trees, um. . . and these tiny flying insects that emerges during the early rains. . . |
Breadfruit is sweet! I don't know the variant you're eating though Sean. But that picture is definitely breadfruit not breadnut-- tastes like a cross between sweet potato and yam. . . There's another one called soursop. It's prickier. |
*Squeals* A puppy!!! Aren't you cuuuute, tsk tsk tsk! |

Aoi, aoi, ano sora, ^~^ Into that blue, blue sky, |

To find out more, I suggest you find answers in the book: The Secret of Family Happiness. Highly recommended. Quoting from chap. 3 under the heading: ''Two Keys to a Lasting Marriage'', pg. 27 pp. 3 question is: ''What three kinds of love should be cultivated by marriage mates?'' pg. 30; pp. 7, 8-10 : ''What is respect, and who should show respect in marriage?'' ''What are some ways that respect will help to make a marriage union stable and happy?'' |
