Reeling in pains? Everyone (regardless of where they sit on the divide) is facing this change. Rice is like double the price? Inflation is 17%? Forex still out of control? Nigerians are definitely reeling in pain right now due to lack of sound economic policies. The standard of living has worsened whether you accept it or not.

It shouldn't be too hard to face the topic which in this case is the North accusing Osinbajo of not being sincere. 2015 is over, move on.
Who is the 'north' to accuse Osinbajo of not being sincerehuh

Who made 'north' the alpha and omega of Nigeria's politicshuh

PMB's gross ineptitude and nepotism has led us to where we are today. PMB just wasnt prepared to be president. He refused to set out at the inception of his administration at least for the first 6 months, snail speed would have been better. All those times, the nation was on auto pilot.

Osinbajo is only active when he his acting president. He is sidelined by the cabal whenever PMB is in charge.

New times are here, my sister.

Where exactly does GEJ come into the picture here? Sigh.
That era is over, can we please focus on the present and the current (woeful) situation of this country and the way out? Nigerians are suffering like never before and no one wants to take ownership.

It's 2 good years already damn!
You can see GEJ's ardent, diehard supporters still reeling in pains from GEJ's 2011 loss and Yorubas' lead role in his ouster leading them to gobble whatever propaganda their 'abokki' masters dish out to them hook, line and sinker. grin

By God's grace, God will use Osinbajo, either in substantive or acting capacity as president, to restore the nation. smiley

All PMB wanted was power, he was NEVER really ready to be president; hence the situation we have found ourselves.

Has Osinbajo acted as president from day one, we wont be in this mess! sad

Oh please, the people that matter, the first-class citizens have already seen through the ruse.

It is you guys that are still playing in the sand completely oblivious of what is happening indoors.

Buhari is recuperating. Osinbajo is not becoming president anytime soon. At most, he'll be like Atiku, another professional presidential aspirant.

-Lord
As far as Osinbajo can successfully hold sway in acting capacity whenever PMB is away and take those actions and make those appointments that are currently giving you second class citizens headache from time to time, we Yorubas are cool with it.
In fact, we Yorubas will gladly back PMB in any condition whatsoever for a 2nd term so far a Yoruba will be his running mate.

Yoruba is not Igbo or Ijaw!
Osinbajo is far smarter, more intelligent and more charismatic than GEJ.

Hhahahahahaha

LordAdam16:
The point is that they are all birds of a feather.

The whitewashing of Osinbajo by the media is nauseating. That midget is worse than Buhari.

He is fiscally inept, financially reckless, morally bankrupt, unabatedly corrupt, and he would spit on Tinubu's face the first chance he gets because Presidents don't have god fathers.

I see through all his charade as some miracle worker or better alternative to Buhari. He is worse.

Just look at the list of appointments, 9 out of 10 to the SW. The same mofo couldn't put together a fiscal plan in 18 months as leader of the economic team. Then he pressured the Kano state government to drop the corruption probe against Sanusi. The same midget has spent $1.2b in the last two weeks and facilitated depletion of the reserves by $500m, all for a 15 naira appreciation that may likely be lost in days, in the face of dropping crude oil prices.

Farouk is reiterating facts I've always championed, that Osinbajo is not the savior he is proclaimed to be by the Yoruba media. The way these people play politics is irritating.

-Lord
Thankfully, your pain-inspired opinions dont count, not even here.

Osinbajo is unstoppable by God's grace.

PMB is still alive and he remains the substantive president until the NASS says otherwise.

Nevertheless, Osinbajo is doing well enough as acting president.

The further PMB stays away, the more powerful and influential he will become.

Carry your sheer envy, jealousy ans bad belle away from here.

North ready for Nigeria’s breakup –Prof. Ango Abdullahi, Northern Elders’ spokesman
— 5th February 2017

Is the North really ready for dissolution?

Absolutely, absolutely, we are. It all depends on the selfish way people want to negotiate. I am 78 now and I also went to the only university in the country at the time in Ibadan. Nobody can tell me about the history of this country. I know a lot about it because I was very much awake and a grown up person to know what happened. The people who argued for the creation of states in 1966/67 are the same people today who are asking for the restructuring of Nigeria with particular preference for regional arrangements.

Why is the North ready for dissolution? What are the indices?

The biggest indices other Nigerians do not want Nigeria; so I don’t see why the North should insist on having Nigeria. That is the biggest index I have. And this is on the basis of the recent statements. The Nigerian elite are the ones undermining the existence of the country and as long as they remain in the fore-front as elite and politicians, so long as we are going to have problems, so long will Nigeria not have the rapid development that we had hoped to when we got independence in 1960.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unity beggar...Can you see what you master are saying....You have not still revealled why you guys are stuck with tis One Nigeria till, when all have agreed it is not working.
I have lost count of how many times Afenifere has called for break up if the country cant be restructured.

Yorubas have been at forefront of restructuring/break up of the country from time immemorial.

Address the question. Northerners are mostly indifferent. I've seen many of them saying Igbos should go.

Why are the algae-eating people of s.waste hating on Igbos their masters and still afraid to let them go?
You are a pathetic liar!

You and I know that northern leaders led by rtd northern military officers are staunchly against the break up of the country and not the inconsequential northern masses who gain next to nothing from the union.

Igbos want their Yoruba masters to fight their abokki masters for them so that they have Biafra while you sit and watch.

Impossicant!

You must fight Biafra 2.0 all alone once again.

Hhahahahaha

Enang, in an electronic mail to our correspondent

still being held on the budget.

If that is the case, then it should be a walk in the park to achieve the disintegration in the house of assembly since Yoruba legislators will be in the minority. Let the legislative process begin.

flatiyeasterners are so afraid of their abokki masters that to accuse or confront them verbally is a big challenge.

They'll rather howl senselessly at their benign Yoruba masters, instead.

Osinbajo has delivered his Biafra address and it has gotten Igbo tongues rolling.

But our Igbo brothers have forgotten so soon that less than 4 years ago, Lt Gen Azubuike Ihejirika, the COAS under the administration of their adopted son, GEJ, swore to defend the unity of the nation Nigeria and warned secessions, mainly his Igbo brothers, to be careful.

The news was all over Nairaland. I am not good at digging up links.

Infact, I dare say that more Biafran activists were summarily executed by the NA under Ihejrika than they have been under Buratai.

The truth is any Igbo president/acting president of Nigeria will say exactly what Osinbajo has said.

Enough said!

@OP

Only 6 people are standing trial for the Ile Ife massacre of abookis.
The rest have been released.
And they too will be released at the end of their trial.

On Biafra, an Igbo president/acting president of Nigeria will say exactly the same thing.

When Ihejirika was COAS under GEJ, he swore to defend the unity of the country and many biafran activists were summarily executed under his term.

Dont be a goat!
