As for creativity, the only person I can bet on in the midfield is Puig but he's not a starter. Coutinho in the Midfield is just another attacker in the center who loves pushing forward, doing few take-ons, and looking to shoot not pass or create something. That's what he does.

The only person who creates chances regularly, is Messi. I don't what Pjanic will do tho.

As for Griezmann, the only reason he could be given a free role is probably due to his work rate (that guy get energy).

I want to understand that most Cules are preferring Thiago to Wijnaldum cos of the former history with the club and style of play... It's okay but I think we shouldn't be too overbearing.

Koeman might have a plan mapped out with which Wijnaldum is the perfect fit and besides, Thiago is easily the injury-prone player. I'm sure we don't want to enjoy 4-5 match brilliance and see him rotting on the bench for the rest of the season. We don't need another "Glass" playing for us.

If the recent UCL is the basis of our judgement, we shouldn't forget that the same Wijnaldum was one of our major undoing in the UCL at Anfield a year before now.

Let's leave Koeman to do his job... And if he fails at it, we can come back and rip him off with it. Of course he knows he's under pressure to deliver.

By ball dominant, you mean someone who can hold onto the ball for long?....I don't think we have anybody like that apart of from Messi now and we need more people like that. Someone who can actually dribble well. If you notice, the only dribbler in that team is Messi and sometimes Semedo plus a fit dembele. The others whenever they get the ball, they pass it back or try to find Messi again, and on occasions he's in a tight spot or having a bad day, we just play rubbish. Now we need someone who can take that roll of luring defenders away thereby creating more space for Messi or other strikers.

Suarez is actually good with the ball at his feet too. But the problem is that he has become lazy over time and can rarely use pace as an advantage anymore. Although his off-ball movement is still as destructive as ever.

Cos practically, there's no reason you'd be a good dribble and cannot compliment it with pace to overshadow your opponent. If Memphis can replicate this, and we have a fit Dembele ( or Consistent Fati or Pedri), then our attack is good enough.


My problem now is if we'll get something creative from the midfield and whether or not our defenses can withstand pressure cos nothing seem to be done with the latter at all.
