oluphilip2008: @ Blaize777, thanks a lot for the tip. I called Lufthansa again, I was given the same quote, so I demanded to speak with their supervisor who also maintained the same quote even when I insisted that it should be 10% of my fare. She told me what they calculate is 10% of one way for my travel date, as it is the cheapest for my date is about $3690 for one way.
Pls house, has anyone tried booking return ticket for an infant while the accompanying adult has a one way ticket? lufthansa and United are the same when it comes to adding infant ticket. And most of us paid about that. And this was last year. U realise the more u delay the more it is increases. They've told u.. There's no magic about that one. Just pay and forget it. |

damsel020: Pls I need help from the gurus in d house.
When I had my first baby in 2014, my mum nd dad applied for us visa to go with me to have my baby, unfortunately they were denied but guess that because my dad came with her, since he said he can't leave his wife alone. Fast forward to this year am going for my 2nd missionary journey and I need my mum to come with me, I applied for her alone, but using @biollar1 style, her appointment is after I arrive the US. I have d following docs prepared for her interview, her bank statement since she's sponsoring herself, 1st missionary journey receipt, my visa page, her gtb receipt.
Pls what else am I to give to her, am worried because of her previous denial and she doesn't ve any travel history and I really need help this time around cos of my toddler.
Will appreciate ur contributions.
Still awaiting response on this. Posed this since Sunday. Abeg my people cc: Ur passport page Ur receipts of previous delivery Sponsors bank statement ( because she was denied before I will suggest she takes u or ur husband's bank statements let it b that u guys are sponsoring her, since it's u guys requesting her help) Accommodation details Present Hospital details ( not like they'll ask but just in case) Interview her... Ask her possible questions nd bla bla.. That's all I can remember |

My hyperpigmentation(very very minimal) is a result of living in dry Abuja weather, not caring about maintaining skin colour (lighter as a child/teenager but lived in lagos then) and my oily skin, my T zone fit fry fish!!!
I'm committed to Aveeno now, so we good...

That Kojic doesn't work that much, it's drying though like our black soap.... Ur skin stubborn gan... Kikikikikikikikiki people wey dey use kojic dey white o.... But bleaching an already hyperpigmented skin... Has to b extra work. mehn at times like these I'm so happy I'm caramel... Oh yes u heard me... I'm caramel... Kikikikikikikikiki... On a serious note it's easier to b dark than fair. I use cocoa butter skin therapy oil... And all that pregnancy hyperpigmentation left. Now I'm back to vaseline. As that's d only smell I can stand with this belle. |

Ulio When I found this thread I didn't know jack. But I'm also someone that tries not to do "Abeg Abeg" The mamas in part one were hormonal Chai... But I read as I was reading I was jotting and jotting pages. You can't write everything neither can u remember everything. If u don't wanna read from d beginning at least start from part 4 get a jotter, then start comparing prices
So I had like pages for different states nd hospitals.. when I see d info I just put page ** of part ** and then I quote the persons moniker or name. |

deleyi20: Bro, Sorry for the delayed response.
The aim of the CPD is to really see how much efforts you have put into developing yourself since you finished your Bachelors Degree and to ensure you have been in the same line with your chosen or nominated field...
I usually advice people to Tabulate a Summary of their CPD and it should include Title/Description/Date/Duration/Venue...
1. List out your Post Graduate Studies or Any type of seminars or conferences that is relevant to your nominated skills
2. List out verified articles or journals you have personally studied as well.
3. you can also list the HSE
4. Also add any undergraduate technical seminar you did
5. I'll advice you list them in a chronological order starting from the most recent
NOTE: You are not expected to submit proof of anything you fill in your CPD (Except you're currently doing a masters program, you'll need to submit your enrolment letter and your most up-to-date transcripts of the M.Eng)
Finally Addressing your current situation, I'll advice you to do a lot of research to get dates and information about past conferences and seminars that took place in Nigeria or at your undergraduate uni. Also search for journals online with texts related to your field. Organise them properly and fill up your CPD.
My Personal advice is to get a minimum of 10 different CPD activities... Cheers bro Thanks for this |

Varvara: Hi, everybody ! One week ago I landed in LAX with my husband and my 22 months American daughter. My family passed immigration , but I had second inspectation, because immigration officer wasn't satisfied that I'm going to deliver a baby by the same visa ( I delivered baby 2 years ago as well in USA). So she was confusing that I use that visa twice. Asked me did I notify embassy ? Sure, that no, because I didn't change my intentions
I signed already contract with St Francis Medical Center $2700 and paid already for first visit and vaginal delivery to Dr. M
I was flying on my 37 weeks and 2 days with fit Congratulations dear... But u signed? Howfriends Flying at 37 weeks... U have mind O.. Second baby for that matter... I'm glad it went well. |
