Thank you everyone at nairaland. Here is my visa transcript. My interview was last Wednesday although I was previously denied on August 7, 2017 and I shared my transcripts here on Nairaland.
My VO was a White Man and he had previously denied two people before me. I do not know the window number but the window was the one to the extreme end stthe right hand side.

VO- good morning Madame
Me- good morning
VO- what are you going to do in the US
Me- I would be the US to pursue my master in Liberal Arts concentration in Gender and Diversity studies at East Tennessee State University.
VO- are you married?
Me-no, I am single.
VO- what is your highest level of degree?
Me- I have a BA French
VO- what year?
Me-February 2015
VO-How many universities did you apply to?
Me- 3 ETSU, WVU and UC ( although I said all in full)
VO- how many gave you admission?
Me- ETSU and Wright state university.
VO- so why this Etsu?
Me- etsu is an interdisciplinary and research based in institution that will equip me with the necessary skills and knowledge both practical and theoretical that would allow me to develop my creative capabilities and that will allow me to solve the problem of child marriage, girl child education and problem of inequality that besets women in a patriarchal society like Nigeria. (Then he cuts in)
VO- so do mean Wright state does not have all this.
Me- no, Wright has but I also chose ETSU because of it faculty program of 16 to 1 students- 16 students to 1 lecturer and also I was awarded an international Merit Scholarship which I would not like to lose because it will allow me to learn and also collaborate.
(Then he stopped looked at me and began typing, and later he raised his head up)
VO- who is your sponsor?
Me- my aunty
VO- what is her name?
Me- .... I said it
VO- do you have her bank statements with you?
Me- yes.
VO- can I have it?
Me- then I began checking my file abd I found it then gave it to him. ( then he went through it for some minutes then typed. Then he raises he head up again looked at me and posed another question.
VO- what are the tools that ETSU will equip you with and how are you going to use it.
Me- then I began again, ETSU is a research and interdisciplinary based institution and apart from this it is a school that encourages diversity by admitting students from different part of the world, students from different continent, of which diversity is fundamental to my course. Learning from other cultures allows me to understand different cultures and Diversity management and also it also me to understand human interaction and culture which will be useful in training young girls in seeing themselves as change pushers in their society and not see themselves as instruments of subservient services.

Then finally he began typing and placed my passport at one side and he stretched one hand to the white paper and he said pick it up at isolo. That was I packed my stuffs oo.

All round favour to those awaiting interviews.

Education / Re: What Can I Do With A Degree In Philosophy? by fisayoprisca: 9:03pm On Nov 22, 2017
Hi brother do not be scared or worried about your tomorrow because the giver of life lives but also know that faith without work is dead. I will tell you Philosophy is a nice course and to study law some of Philosophy courses as Logic is a prequisite to be passed by law students in 100. Firstly, let me tell you that you can cross to study Law in your 200 level, and this can only be achieved by studying well and obtaining a good grade in all courses and with prayer, help and assistance - if you know any lecturer that can help you push your bid to cross to Law then you Cross to study Law from 200l. Also make enquiries from your senior about all that as to do with crossing to another course. Philosophy is a course that helps to increase and develop your intelligent quotient, manner of reasoning and it also develop your intuitive capable, it allows you to probe all fact and this emboldens the questioning spirit. So going by this, you can work as a police officer, CID, in the SS, EFCC and other law enforcement agencies. You can function well in Journalism as well, so I implore you to join your university's union of campus journalist or join the press in your faculty or department. Because in Philosophy attention is given to your use of grammar. Another thing about the work of today is ringed around building a skill and also developing oneself through books, conversations and the kind of friends one keeps. So what do you love doing? Or what skill do like? Learn a soft skill. And do you know most lawyers do not even earn as much as you think after all said and done. Majority earning begin from 20k to 30k.
All I will tell you is to look beyond your course and build capacity.
Samswags9:
I just got admitted to study PHILOSOPHY At OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY. I Actually Opted For Law But I Was Offered Philosophy.

I Have Little Or No Idea About Philosophy, Having Searched Google But all I saw was,
being a Lecturer Or working at one Local Government.

Pls where and
what can I work as With a Philosophy Degree

Please Help Me Push This To Front Page

Then she gave me the blue paper, read what is inside.

Good morning everyone. I am a silent follower and my visa was approved on the 21st of July 2017. I want to thank Almighty God for everything. The journey wasn't easy from looking for schools, to writing exams, to paying sevis and finally getting the Visa. I also want to thank Lagosismyhome and texrem. They replied my pm even when it wasn't convenient. Nairaland has really done a lot of tutoring and I'm glad I came upon this thread as at the time I did.

LagosismyHome:

Rules are meant to be followed. The rules states 6 months so try to best to work towards that . There really should be no question on yes or no

That been said

Yes someone here posted a transcript where the passport was less than 6 months. The visa interview was successful so it possible however the VO said the actual visa cannot be issued on less than 6 months so gave him a paper and that he should mail the new passport with a longer expiration and then the visa will be issued
thanks you so much
