Joke of the century |
Okay sorry |
After donating 2 billion. You cannot pay salaries. Are you Kidding? |
adontcare:It is really sad that our people resort to jungle justice in issues like this. There is no justification for it whatsoever as the culprits should be submitted to law enforcement agents. But these criminals are heartless dare-devils. Sometimes it seems like they deserve it because they are well aware of the consequences of their actions. Its just totally sad anyway. |
Around 8.00pm last night in Ughelli, 3 armed young men attacked a POS cashpoint vendor stationed close to Otovwodo Junction. The female vendor was shot in the leg and two of the boys managed to escape with their loot. The unfortunate third lad was apprehended and burnt alive this morning at Otovwodo Junction. It is not far-fetched that the desperation of these youths is as a result of the looming famine inherent in these trying times. According to Dan Ohagwa, these developments if not properly checked, might culminate into an unwanton catastrophe at the climax of this calamitous Freytag's Pyramid. In another development, hundreds of protesters convened at Olympia, Sapele to contest the curfew imposed on Deltans by the State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa. Sadly a young boy was shot by security operatives on his frail butts. Emeka Aghanenu opines that it might get so bad to the extent that people would barter their household wares (if not stolen) for food items. There is no doubt this pandemic is a global disaster but the Federal and State governments must make extra efforts to alleviate it's citizens to intercept and inhibit a chaotic cataclysm. How about previous educational documents? How do you add it to the online application? |
The OP seems to have a personal concern, leaving reasons to believe that the girl declined his date offer, so he must drag her online. Beautiful couple btw ![]() |
It seems the two guys in the picture are the pimps, they will be well rewarded. Well, Dino remains the most interesting politician in W. Africa. Hard to dislike the guy. |
charlicool:Not to discourage you bro but this practically a case of 'God for all man, all man for himself'. Three men in Cleric attires had their interviews before mine. The indifference in their faces, walking out with pink letters suggested they understood it's not a surrealistic affair. Your faith however should work for you. Testimonies are very welcome... |
Ccanyanwu:It would be nice to also know why... |
debetmx:Very true. I just realized... |
jesmond3945:There is no provision to submit documents when applying for US visa. You can only fill the DS-160 form where you can summarize your details, credentials and whatnot. They really do not care to validate by asking for original documents during the interview except they find a reason to do so. Hence they tend to act as mind readers. As for my appearance, I was formally dressed and I also had a very high TOEFL score, coupled with a remarkable first degree grade, which prompted and availed me the scholarship. |
charlicool:Amen. So shall it be. Hope for the best but prepare your mind for anything. They are so unpredictable |
rex444:That's the next agenda. USA is not heaven. It is only disheartening why there's so much disregard for Nigerian Students.. |
jesmond3945:I wasn't asked anything pertaining ties. I only got the chance to explain why I had previous short travels, my intended institution which is renowned in Illinois, and how I intend to cover my expenses. The consular nodded in agreement all the while until she served me my second rejection... Not one prospective student I met there got the white letter. |
KingOfAllIgbos:Lolx, thanks for your suggestions but I wasn't trying to run. I only wanted a masters in another country. Even Americans go abroad to study |
I just got my second denial while applying for a student F-1 visa. I was served with the Form 214b and was told that I am not legally eligible to enter the USA in spite of the fact that I got a valid admission with a scholarship and I have enough funds till my proposed return date. I would not be applying again, at least for now. I would like to suggest that if prospective students would constantly be denied without any specified reason other than an intuition that they might not return, schools in the USA should be advised not to grant admission to students from Nigeria. I was not even asked to justify if I would return or not before I was handed the form like the other students I met at the Abuja embassy. It is important for specifics to be given so as to ascertain the exact reason for the denial, otherwise the process might leave an impression of exploitation of prospective students. This is not to undermine the process or the VOs but being told that one is not legally eligible when all the requirements are met makes one feel inadequate like some kind of criminal or fugitive. The Form 214b even clearly states that the process cannot be appealed. It somehow feels unfair especially considering the rigors of commuting to and from Abuja, hotel bills and the emotional investment after receiving admission and a merit based scholarship. I am proudly Nigerian and I am not inadequate or legally ineligible. God bless the reader. Fisher Nwanne |
