Atiku deleting the tweet condemning the gruesome murder of Deborah shows what we have been preaching this whole election season. Politicians don’t care for the people. They only play to the gallery when seeking for our votes. The people must see beyond these gimmicks…
I said on National TV today; that the day I Debo Adedayo will stop speaking up against injustice and oppression or stop advocating for a better nation is the day I die. This cause is perhaps the greatest reason for my existence and I am grateful that this is my path. BloggerDonald.com Reports
Every citizen has a right to life! No person or group of persons have the right to take the life of another citizen!!! You cannot kill another in the name of defending your religion. Do we all start killing ourselves in the name of religion?? It is inhumane and it must End!!!
Nothing justifies the beating and stoning that eventually led to killing and burning Deborah. This is not how to practice the religion of peace. And If there are people who genuinely believe that she deserved such, then something has gone terribly wrong with our humanity.
According to multiple reports, Deborah a female student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto, accused of Blasphemy was killed and burnt. This is what happens when there are no consequences for actions in the society. The government must wake up from their slumber!!
Justice must be served!!! And it must be swiftly done!! If not, we would be enabling a society wherein religious extremists take law into their hand, kill and destroy. These acts should be highly condemned lest we add more tension and Chaos to a society already on the edge!!!

UCL: You should be ashamed of yourself – O’Hara blasts Simeone after Atletico’s defeat to City
Former Tottenham. star, Jamie O’Hara has slammed Diego Simeone, describing the Atletico Madrid boss and his players as disgraceful and horrible following the LaLiga holders loss to Manchester City on Wednesday.
The defeat did not go down well for Atletico Madrid, having relied on cynicism rather than quality for much of the game to outdo the Premier League side.
Stefan Savic kicked out at Felipe, at the closing stage of the game and attempted to drag him from the pitch in order to save their time as they sought for an equaliser.
The Spanish side also had Jack Grealish’s hair pulled by Savic, who also headbutted Raheem Sterling.
And when Felipe was sent off for a second yellow card, Diego Simeone sparked a furious reaction on the touchline.
After the full-time whistle, Savic and Grealish clashed in the tunnel.
And O’Hara believes Atletico’s hot heads meant they spurned chances to level the tie.
O’Hara told talkSPORT: “It was a disgrace. Simeone should be ashamed of himself. This shows why he’s not at a big club like Liverpool or Real Madrid.”
He noted that the Spanish side wasted ten minutes of their precious time trying to kick Manchester City players, and “acting like school children,” and their manager “clapping the fans.”
“City eventually overcame their stubborn hosts. They were so erratic and gung-ho that they blew their chances,” he said.
Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick insists he won’t resign his position as head of the country’s FA despite calls for him to quit following the Super Eagles failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
In an interview with Arise TV, Pinnick took responsibility for the Eagles inability to reach qualify for their fourth consecutive appearance at the Mundial, after losing out in the final play-off to perennial rivals Ghana last month, but insisted he won’t back down.
“Taking responsibility doesn’t mean you are guilty, it’s just a courtesy out of maturity and out of the fact that you don’t want to ascribe blames to your subordinates. It’s quite unfortunate knowing that you didn’t do anything, knowing that you had sleepless nights.
“We did everything, but unfortunately we are out and we’ll bury our heads, but we’ll learn, that’s the beautiful thing. So, basically, we need to move from step one to step two.”
Speaking further, Pinnick added that the federation was not responsible for the Eagles failure to qualify for the World Cup, saying the entire team was given everything they needed to pick a ticket for Qatar 2022.
“We sat down with the players and made them to know the importance of that game and we gave them everything. Up till this moment, I don’t think you can fault the NFF. You can fault us in the past, but in these two games (versus Ghana), with all due respect, I think we are faultless. But like I said earlier, I take responsibility as head of the football federation in Nigeria.”
Nathaniel Bassey, a popular Nigerian gospel musician has advised couples to pray and check again before they enter into marriage relationships.
The talented singer while reacting to the death of Singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu said although marriage is good, it is not by force.
He prayed that God will give those in abusive marriages the grace to take the right decision.
He wrote on Instagram, ”In the past few weeks, I have had to share very hard posts. Posts of very wonderful ministers of the gospel who have passed. Attended two services of songs of young folks. And the harsh realities of life just stare in the face. Death is inevitable, but we don’t pray for it before time. Check Free Canada Visa Deals
”However, this one has been very annoying, hearing the circumstances surrounding the death of our sister. One Whose voice thundered and reverberated powerfully in worship.
“I remember how she’d come to me with a smile and humility saying hello when we had to minister at worship events. But She’s with our a lord now. But I can’t help but say, a little early.
”Let me pray this again my friends, “MAY YOU NOT MARRY YOUR ENEMY” And that you also don’t become an ENEMY to someone else. In Jesus’ name. Marriage is good and Honorable. But also not by force. To those about to marry, SHINE YOUR EYES. Love is not blind. Because God is love. And God is not blind.
”Don’t ignore red flags. Even when you say, or they said, “God said” but you identify some traits very inconsistent with godly character, PRAY AND CHECK AGAIN.
”And to those in horrible marital situations, both men and women, I pray for you today, May God give you the WISDOM to make the right decisions before it is too late. In Jesus’ name. Amen. To the family, friends and well-wishers I close with

PSG: You’re now grandfather of forest, your role in World Cup not clear – Piechniczek slams Messi
Former Poland manager, Antoni Piechniczek has hit out at Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi.
Piechniczek said Messi is now the grandfather of the forest, adding that the role he would play for Argentina in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar is not clear.
Messi has not really impressed since joining PSG from Barcelona last summer.
The seven-time Ballon d’ Or, who was recently booed by PSG fans, has endured a difficult campaign so far.
The Argentine captain has struggled to find his footing at the Parc des Princes.
And Piechniczek believes Messi, who scored a goal in PSG’s 5-1 win over Lorient at the weekend, has passed his prime.
“This duel would have been more interesting if Lionel Messi had been five or six years younger. Let’s be honest. Messi is now the grandfather of the forest. This is no longer the footballer he was just a few years ago. It’s not clear what role he’ll play in the World Cup in Qatar,” Piechniczek told Natemat.
“It’s possible that the coach decides to put him on the bench, given the current level of Messi. A role like Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the Swedish team. Play the last 15-20 minutes of a match. It can happen that Messi plays a sensational tournament, but seeing how he looks in the colors of Paris Saint-Germain, he’s not the same Messi as before.”

2022 World Cup: Babayaro names two people responsible for Nigeria’s failure to qualify
Former Nigeria goalkeeper, Emmanuel Babayaro has said current goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu, and the president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick are to be blamed for the country’s failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
The Super Eagles lost out on away goal rule, after drawing 1-1 at home with Ghana on Tuesday.
Babayaro, who won a gold medal at the 1996 Olympics, said, “For me personally, I will lay the blame on goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu. He has been the goalkeeper trainer for many years and has failed to bring any improvement on any of the goalkeepers. And also, he has not brought up a new goalkeeper into the fold. So, why is he a goalkeeper trainer?”
He added, “Football has a lot to do with psychology. Uzoho after conceding that goal was shaking because it was a flop for him to allow that ball to go into the net. It takes a lot of character for the goalkeeper to come back better after such a goal.”
The former Super Eagles goaltender also laid blame on the doorsteps of Amaju Pinnick.
“There is no teamwork among Super Eagles and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) because in a situation where only the President is in charge of everything. The President of the Federation is the Chief Scout of Super Eagles. He has been the one traveling to Europe to convince players who were not born here and don’t know much about Nigerian football to come and play for us.
“How can you bring strangers together and expect them to do the work of brothers? They cannot play with that urgency because they don’t know the history and the rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana and what football means to the average Nigerian,” he concluded.

The Southern and Middle Belt Leaders’ Forum, SMBLF, have called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, pro-Biafra agitator.
SMBLF said the Federal government was openly displaying double standards by Kanu’s continued detention.

SMBLF made the call in a communiqué jointly signed by the leaders of Yoruba’s Afenifere, Igbo’s Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the Middle Belt Forum, and the Pan Niger Delta Forum, after a meeting in Abuja.

“We demand, in national interest, the immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu and a stop to any further persecution of Sunday Igboho, who is currently on a conditional release in Benin Republic.”
Kanu has been locked up by the Department of State Services, DSS, since June 2021.

I have been thinking about this lady.
This is Okonkwo Tiana ,
She is a graduate, a friend from the same town and a sister too.
Tiana approached me after her Youth Service to the nation and told me to help her that she is looking for a job, I was open to her and I told her that being selfemployed pays off than most jobs in Nigeria now. (People receive below $70 as monthly salary here in Nigeria and to tell you the truth, it is a mere waste of people's time and energy).
Long story cut short, Tiana started food stuff business with the help of family and friends. She goes into the farm in far away northern states to buy yams and deliver it to a Western state (Lagos State). She suffers the cold(especially now that we are in harmattan season), she endures the stress of traveling several miles on a truckload of yam amidst other challenges.
I want to use the post to thank her for not relying on anyone for urgent 2k.
I want to use this post to encourage her not to give up.
Please, drop a word of encouragement for her too.
I also want to use this post to motivate our youths to start up something no-matter how small and stop looking up to people for little help that comes with a lot of insults.

Social activist and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has pleaded with Nigerians to sign the petition to send President Muhammadu Buhari to prison after his tenure expires in 2023 over the recent revelations concerning the Lekki Toll Gate massacre of unarmed protesters.
Findings by the Lagos State Panel of Investigation set up by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu indicted the police and soldiers of the Nigerian Army of killing and maiming unarmed youths protesting illicit police activities and bad governance in Nigeria.
Also, Major General Taiwo, who appeared before the Panel during the investigation, according to the report, said admitted soldiers acted on the command of former Army Chief of Staff, Lit. Gen. Tukur Buratai, who in turn was said to have received instruction from the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, President Buhari.
Before the release of the report, the Federal Government, through the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, had in a series of press conferences and press releases continually denied that anyone was killed when soldiers invaded the protest scene.
Despite the Federal Government’s stance, the report shows obvious evidence that there was indeed a massacre at the Lekki tollgate.
And Reno Omokri, who worked as one of the aides of former President Goodluck Jonathan on public relations, vows that President Buhari must not go unpunished.
The US-based former presidential aide made the plea after singer, Davido shockingly took his social media handles on Wednesday begging Nigerians for funds.
Omokri tweeted, “I don’t need you to send me ₦1 million to prove you love me. All I need is for you to prove you love Nigeria by signing this petition to send Buhari to prison for the #LekkiMassacre of #EndSARS protesters here.
“In 4 hours Nigerians raised ₦114 million for @Davido. Now I beg Nigerians to show that we value human lives more than money by signing the petition to send Buhari to prison for l the #LekkiMassacre of unarmed #EndSARS protesters here.#BuhariForPrison2023.
“Stop saying ‘God go punish Buhari’. If we do nothing to bring Buhari to justice, he will escape. We are the ones God will use.

Nigerian man builds 4-bedroom house for his mother, shares emotional story about how his mother sacrificed a lot him and his siblings.
A Nigerian man identified as Mazi Ogbonnaya has taken to his social media page to share photos of the newly completed house his gifted his mother and he used the opportunity to appreciate her for all the sacrifices she made to cater for him and his siblings ever since the death of their father.
Read his lengthy post below ;
“A little 4 bedroom flat bungalow gift from a son to his mother. The boy lost his father when he was just 4. This woman has been a widow for the past 24 years. She became the father the boy grew up to know.
The boy would watch his mother struggling to feed him and his siblings.
Some relatives made life unbearable for her too. The boy watched her toiling, starving herself to feed her children.
While in primary 4, the little said enough was enough. He must do something to support his mother.
He started selling water in the market and later became a sale’s boy. Mother tried to stop him but the boy was stubborn. In Primary 4, the boy bought his mother a cooking pot from the money he saved. The mother cherished that pot and still preserve it till now.
This didn’t stop the boy from taking first position from primary one to finishing. He was a hustler who believed in changing narratives for good.
He had dreamt of making his mother proud. He had dreamt of wiping away her tears.
After the lost of her husband who was doing well before he died of accident in 1997, she was asked whether to remain or remarry. Mother said she must remain and bring up her lovely husband’s kids.
Mother called this particular son: “di m” meaning “my husband”.
The boy’s name is Ogbonnaya. The boy was named after his father. The name follows him. He acts like one. Making sure his mother’s needs are met.
The woman was so supportive. She would punish the boy for associating with some boys she thought might deceive him.
The boy thought mother was being wicked. But he would later see she was rightly protecting him. As the boy was growing, he loved books. He made uncompleted building his home. He read books and write books there. His mother would tell his siblings not to disturb him.
The boy should be left alone.
Going to the university of Nigeria Nsụka at the age of 18. Mother was at ọmụgwọ and didn’t know when the boy sneaked out to find his way after those he looked up to decided to choose his fate for him and he refused. Life was a bet.
The boy took his own fate and left to find his future. The boy would be pretending that all was well so that his mother would not get BP. He would squeeze some money and send her, claiming business was going fine whereas he barely fed.
At Nsụka, the boy made name as his books became a national anthem in some high institutions. The day he graduated and went home, his mother killed a cock for him to celebrate his success. Cleaning Services In Nigeria
After NYSC, the boy went home. In the minds of everyone he had no job.
And yes, he had no job. That very midnight, the rain was heavy. Wind blown off the roof of the house his father built years ago. He saw the mother crying. He didn’t talk. His mind was wandering over what to do.
In the morning, the boy said to his mother:
“Go and call me a carpenter”.
Mother replied: “where did you see money to roof the house? Where? You don’t have a job yet”.
The boy chuckled. “Call me a carpenter first”.
She did.
“How much will it cost to pull down this whole roof and reroof it again?”, the boy asked the carpenter who also was shocked. Person wey no get job dey talk of roofing a house.
Off they went to building materials. Few hours later, truck full of woods and zinc arrived the compound
Mother and neighbors were shocked..but the boy has no job. How come? Before getting to night, the house was roofed. The next day, the boy left on low-key. It was a news. “A boy who just came home roofed their house after NYSC. Did he know the house will fall before coming home?”
The boy now said: “it’s better to build this woman a befitting house. She needs fresh air now she’s alive. Not when she’s gone, I will start building house in her absence just to impress people. She needs to enjoy herself now. She has passed through a lot.
It is time for her to enjoy. I don’t mind denying myself some luxury and comfort”.
He called JW Nomic Nweji Michael the CEO of Nomic Constructions Ltd and told him to draw him a house so that he’d be looking at the drawing. That was how the project started.
Within a year, it’s completed. He didn’t even go home. He trusted the engineer who was doing everything and sending him photograph.
This is me saying, thank you for being my mother. Thank you for making sure my father’s name did not wipe out from the surface of the earth.
You call me “di m”. You give me advice daily. You pray for me daily. You passed through a lot, starve yourself so that I could eat.
I don’t have much to say, thank you mother. Afọ mụrụ Odogwu. Afọ mụrụ Maazị, this is your house. I made sure I built it to my own taste.
No management. I needed standard work. Here it is. You need fresh air. You deserve good things of life maka na ị mụrụ Odogwu.
Manage this small thing. Who knows? My next project for you will be bigger. Because you deserve everything good and perfect. Ị mụrụ Odogwu.
I don’t need to be Dangote before I do this. But then, I have to do this..
Manchester United’s board has finally decided to sack manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The newspaper also reports that Leicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers will be taking over at Old Trafford once Solskjaer is shown the exit door.
Solskjaer’s stay at Old Trafford will not go beyond this season, according to the report.
The Norwegian has some herculean tasks ahead, which include Saturday’s clash against Watford, a meeting with Villarreal in Spain in the Champions League and Premier League clashes with Chelsea and Arsenal.
Rodgers’ playing style is said to have impressed the United hierarchy, with his promotion of youth and ability to work on a budget.
United would have to pay a compensation fee to Leicester should they wish to hire Rodgers, who is contracted to the Foxes until 2023.
The club would also have to pay Solskjaer around £4.5m, meaning the decision could prove costly for the Red Devils.
United are, therefore, minded to wait until the end of the campaign to see if Solskjaer can improve results, before taking stock of the situation in the summer.
Couple sentenced to 30 months imprisonment for having sex on a busy road in Uganda
A man and woman who were caught on camera having sex on a busy roadside have been sentenced to 30 months imprisonment in Uganda.
Hafashimana Paskari, a 29-year-old bodaboda rider of Migeshi village, Rwaramba parish and Muhawenimana Colodine Mukamulenzi, 24, of Nyakinama sub county in Kisoro District, were arrested last week and charged to court for public nuisance.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions sanctioned the charge of indecent practice against the duo.
It was alleged that Paskari and Colodine on the 2nd day of November 2021 at about 5:00pm along Kisoro Road in Kisoro Municipality had sex in public, an act of gross indecency.
They appeared in court on Tuesday for the plea with Muhendo Peter as the Prosecutor and His Worship Fred Gidudu as the trial magistrate.
The two pleaded guilty to the charge and were sentenced to 30 months imprisonment.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Mukamurenzi and Paskari are seen leisurely walking up the busy road and then without warning, the two literally humped away with little or no care for who’s watching the show.
“You’re God’s children” – Billionaire Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin blesses repented sex workers with #6M to start a new life
It was not only a moment of spiritual turnaround for some sex workers, who embraced Christ and repented from prostitution at the Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry in Warri but an end to financial woes.
While the sex workers publicly repented, narrating their ordeal, including encounters with kidnappers as the senior prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, billionaire Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin led them to Jesus Christ, little did they know that they would return to their homes as millionaires.
The incident, which happened at the church’s Sunday Service earlier today, saw about six sex workers crying uncontrollably as they were gifted N6 million by the pastor.
The development started as one of the sex workers (names concealed) came out to testify of her miraculous victory from the hand of kidnappers, who disguised for patronage. Cleaning Services In Nigeria
According to her, she ended in the bush after the man had enticed her with a promise of N200, 000 but was saved due to band of the church she was wearing on her ankle.
“It was when I got to the bush that I realised what was going on. The man carried a long knife and wanted to cut through my throat but the knife fell of repeatedly. He started calling me a witch and later ran. I managed to find my way to the road before some people helped me,” she said.
Fufeyin had called out other ladies, who were addicted to smoking, drinking and prostitution, delivering them and offering them six million naira.
While the former sex workers were jubilating, the prophet referred to them as God’s children, stressing that except someone with a spiritual understanding, ordinary people would not understand the implications of what the church is doing.
This won’t be the first time the prophet did similar gesture, in August, about 15 sex workers, who encountered a life changing moment at the church recounted horrible experiences they face as the prophet gifted them with N15m. Just last week ailing Nollywood Actor Emeka Ani was assisted with 6million Naira for his medical needs.
In a video shared on the internet and watched by this medium, the founder of the church, Fufeyin had during a church service asked people engaged in sex work (prostitution) to accept Jesus Christ and turn from their ways. About 15 ladies answered the ‘alter call’ and were led to Christ while being offered a Bible.
Many people have found it quite difficult to differentiate between the offences of stealing, robbery and armed robbery. While these three offences may seem as though they are similar, one cannot be used in place of the other. This is because the definitions accorded to these offences are different as well as their punishments.
In this article, we would study and examine the differences between these three offences by highlighting their various definitions and the laws providing for them.
Stealing/theft:
According to Section 383 of the Criminal Code, a person who fraudulently takes anything capable of being stolen or fraudulently converts to his own use or to the use of any other person, anything capable of being stolen, is said to steal that thing.
The punishment for stealing is an imprisonment for 3 years
Robbery:
Section 401 of the Criminal Code Act provides that any person who steals anything and before or after the time of stealing it, uses or threatens to use actual violence to any person or property in order to obtain or retain the thing stolen or to prevent or overcome resistance to its being stolen or retained, is guilty of robbery.
The punishment for this offence is a sentence of not less than twenty one years
Armed Robbery:
Section 403 of the Criminal Code provides that where an offender robs a person with any firearms or any offensive weapon or was is in company of any other person that was armed or if either before or after the time of the assault, the offender wounds or uses any other personal violence to any person, he would be guilty of armed robbery
A person who commits this offence will be liable upon conviction to an imprisonment for life with or without caning.
From the three different definitions above we can see that:
1. Stealing is an act of permanently depriving a person of his property
2. Robbery is an act of taking a property from a person with violence or intimidation
3. Armed robbery is an act of taking the property of another person while making use of harmful weapons.
