This is the second time this issue will be coming up. We wish to call on the FG to please pay Gradudate Internship Scheme (GIS) Interns their stipends. It will be recalled that the Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS) which was aimed at providing jobs for our unemployed Graduates and skills acquisition to become employer of labours after one year of training met a dead end after the FG issued a press release around December, 2016.
However, most of the Interns were yet to receive their stipends (some up to 8 months) before the termination of the programme. Eventhough the Graduate Internship Scheme was properly captured in the 2016 budget and this only leave Interns with the question yet to be answer as to who then is in possession of their Stipends?

Don't even look at it from a parochial point of view as this may be an attempt to rubbish Mr President but see this as an opportunity for Mr President to call whosoever behind this injustice and fraudulent act to order. Time is 9pm today!!!

Ok if u say so. We should not stop tweeting until our stipends are paid. Monies for our stipends was included in the 2016 budget and by Fg extending 2016 budget implementation till march this year we should all en masse demand that our stipends be paid. We should not keep quiet and allow few people made away with our sweat. TOGETHER FOR ALL!

Fact is we really don't know the power of numbers... We are 10,000+ graduates that a very few persons want to swallow our allowances. Why not we devise a means of exposing them? PMB will fire them immediately guys! If 10,000 of us contributes N1,000 each and write a letter to PMB via print media and blogs, heads will roll and coupled with twitter battle. #60,000 is enough to help someone ooo.
