Lol... It's very low.....(3.82) It's a 2.1 (Second Class Upper)... Although there may be nothing like a Second Class Upper and so on in the masters programme but with such grade you are qualified to go for your Ph.D in almost all Universities in Nigeria that has a Ph.D programme. For many of them, the minimum requirement is a CGPA of 3.5.. I am an Educationist...

But for the records, I still would have celebrated it even if I came out with a much lower grade cos Masters no be beans... E no easy at all especially in a Nigerian Tertiary Institution like Uniport... If it's not easy for the undergraduates , then you can imagine what it's like for us ... Lol...

Congrats fellow distinguished. But in Unical its minimum of 4.0 CGPA for P.hD

How can you make such a hasty generalization when you don't know their basis for shortlisting of applicants? Besides, do we have a computerized system that has our database in this country? Please don't mislead the public!

Lol. That's how much it hurts when your right is taken away from you. But I blame us... the youths. We are yet to learn our lessons. When it happens to Mr. A, Mr. B who didn't get the job will be happy and will begin to support the action of the govt. When some recruits of the Nigeria Immigration Service were suspended, some nairalanders started justifying the action of the govt without carefully looking at the issue. When the govt finally recalled some of them and REPLACED some, the recalled ones started justifying the reason why some weren't recalled. But forget that the LAW OF KARMA is real!!!
Well if I were you, I will simply move on and put the past behind.

Drect short service Commission DSSC as d name implies is a graduate Military Service for professional who hav graduated from diff institution and serve the nation(NYSC).
NDA was task wit the responsibility of training cadet of DSSC b4 but now the training is done by each arm force by themselves. The reason is because doing the time of Recruitment and training by NDA, maybe Airforce or Navy will not b ready to accomodate Officer cos they need to include them in there Budget.
Another reason is that it is cost effective and better to train this cadet by each forces because the military drills(Parade) of Navy and Army and Airforce are Different.
Army is known for Banging of Legs on d ground, in Navy we dont bang legs, we just bring it together.
NDA is a military university that train Cadet that just past out from secondary school. U train for 4 Years(NDA is 4 Years Now) Both in Academy and Military Drills. Both NDA and DSSC aftet graduation u are commisioned into the Officer Cadre.
In NDA u hv the opportunity to choose between Army, Navy and Airforce from yq first Year. Then in d 3rd year u go to d force u choose and get train by d force again.
If u finish from NDA u are a Regular Commission but if u go to the university first before joing tru DSSC u are a Direct Short Service Commission.
DSSC hv the opportunity to convert to Direct Regular Commission(DRC) after 3 years of Join.
Both NDA or DSSC are direct Job to the Military once u graduate.
Thanks..
Correct any typo

Bros you and oga tenderlaw over deserve the job you both are currently doing. Very direct and concise

Please house, all I did was the online application. I didn't send any 6 copies as requested and I got an invite. Hope no negative implications cos it's really a long distance which would also cost much.

Also, does anyone have an idea of when their academic calendar would start? Just thinking if this recruitment is ahead of September.

Same thing with me. I didn't submit those stuffs

Jobs/Vacancies / FG Pay GIS Interns by FixNaija(m): 6:22pm On Jan 24, 2017
This is the second time this issue will be coming up. We wish to call on the FG to please pay Gradudate Internship Scheme (GIS) Interns their stipends. It will be recalled that the Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS) which was aimed at providing jobs for our unemployed Graduates and skills acquisition to become employer of labours after one year of training met a dead end after the FG issued a press release around December, 2016.
However, most of the Interns were yet to receive their stipends (some up to 8 months) before the termination of the programme. Eventhough the Graduate Internship Scheme was properly captured in the 2016 budget and this only leave Interns with the question yet to be answer as to who then is in possession of their Stipends?

Please fellow nairalanders, help us tweet and retweet with #FGPayGISinternsStipends
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: FG: SURE-P Graduate Internship Scheme by FixNaija(m): 5:39pm On Jan 24, 2017
Don't even look at it from a parochial point of view as this may be an attempt to rubbish Mr President but see this as an opportunity for Mr President to call whosoever behind this injustice and fraudulent act to order. Time is 9pm today!!!

Fellow Interns, we must rise up to the occasion at this pressing time and demand what rightfully belongs to us. Don't forget to tweet at least 10tweets and RT all you can see with our handler.
We can't allow that man/woman abscond with millions of naira meant for poor Graduates like us
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: FG: SURE-P Graduate Internship Scheme by FixNaija(m): 5:21pm On Jan 24, 2017

. Yes i agree with you. We should all resort to twitting to persuade Gis and Fg pay our oustanding stipends and training allowance. By keeping quiet cannot compel Fg and Gis into doing the needful. Lets us all rise up in unison and fight for our right. The twitter handles we should channel our e-protest are @MBuhari, @ProfOsibajo, @mrskemiadeosun,@bukolasaraki, @ngrsenate,@femiadesina,@benmuraybruce with this hashtag #Fg pay Gis interns their stipends and training allowance. We should all start now and get result. If u dont have twitter account open one now if ur phone can access one. Together we shall succeed

Pls here are the handlers to make noise on

remy4God:
Ok if u say so. We should not stop tweeting until our stipends are paid. Monies for our stipends was included in the 2016 budget and by Fg extending 2016 budget implementation till march this year we should all en masse demand that our stipends be paid. We should not keep quiet and allow few people made away with our sweat. TOGETHER FOR ALL!

I think I support what you are saying... now let's get down to business and stop making noise
Here is my Twitter handle @PatrioticNiger3
