Just a quick one: For those using their mobile phones, download a Mozilla Firefox, enter fire service portal and do your registration, when you are done, click on tools and click on save as PDF, boom... your acknowledgement slip will be saved and you can go to a computer center and send it for printing.
Hope this helps someone out there

They will allow all applicants to come for physical verification and screening with their print out

I doubt considering the huge resources and manpower that will be required for that. I think they will handle it just the same way they did for Immigration Service last year. Let's be hopeful that we will be called for 2nd stage

Do you think they review all those sh!t called documents we always upload for government recruitment?? They don't!

They only do physical verification if you are shortlisted.

Then I guess a computer algorithm will be used to pick candidates.

I have made series of posts on how you can break away from poverty and unemployment on this platform by coming over to learn how to build web applications that solve real life problems and with that you can sell your service(s) to people and they pay you for that.

We started online classes and we have covered alot of grounds. This is the big one, I have done a video on how to build web applications using PHP/MYSQL. The video is so straight forward and it is just like A,B,C. You will digest the video in few hours and you will be able to start out to build your own web applications.

Hello House ,

URGENT RESPONSE IS NEEDED PLS ....

I have applied for the PTDF UK MSc category ,MSc category will be interviewed this time ......from the website, applicants can now chose their preferred Interview centres. Each of the 6 Geo-political zone in Nigeria has one its state as its interview centre.

example : Enugu for south East zone ...and Ibadan for South west zone ....

MY QUESTION :

(1) I am from the South East, and i presently resides in Lagos , will it be wise to select Ibadan( which is closer to me ) OR select Enugu .....my Geo-political Zone ??

(2) Does attending the interview in my Geo-political Zone of ORIGIN has a way of increasing my chances of success ? ....considering the present Ethnicity issue in Nigeria. ....I dont really know how transparent PTDF interview committe can be ......

pls those of you who attended your Germany / France /China interview .....at a Geo-political Zone different from your Origin ....should advise me ....to enable me make an informed decision .....the Application closes today.......,,

I'm from South and currently in the North, I did mine in one of the centers here in the North... bottom line is pick any center closest to you.

You both transcript are important. The statement of result is good for the interview but not good for admission. So be sure to submit the certificate at the earliest possible time for the processing of your admission, should you become successful

If you have your MSc thesis, that will be good but if you dont, its not a problem. For your MSc certificate/Statement of result, its a must because the template they used in the interview contains score for you certificate. This information is as of 2017 interview for PhD's. My advice is that you better have everything available. The reason is because PTDF is the highest PhD competition I have ever seen in Nigeria.

Good Luck

Thank you so much for your timely response. However, I went to my Graduate school and I was told that the certificates haven't been returned to them from the Registrar. But I do have statement of result and transcript, wouldn't that be enough for the interview? Also, do I need to have my undergraduate transcript since I'm not going for MScbut for PhD? Thank you

attended to during the screening exercise. Also, as I read from previous thread,
will be advisable for PhD scholars to get their MSc thesis ready for the interview?

Please I need info from anyone on these.

1) Did anyone get shortlisted using statement of result instead of certificate?

2) Does state of origin certificate pass for indigene letter?

Responses would be very much appreciated.
I applied with my MSc statement of result and was shortlisted. Bros some things happen not because some people are more qualified even when the most qualified aren't picked but it's God. God has plans for everyone of us!

Wasn't shortlisted. Probably as a result of not having an international passport number as at time of registration.

That's not true, I was shortlisted without an international passport. I think we shouldn't forget that the statement of purpose was a criteria for shortlisting too and many others.

FG Appointment: Eric Kanjal breaks silence on his board appointment replacement

My beloved brothers and Sisters of Ogoja,Cross River State and beyond, I’m obliged to make a public Statement about our travails of the past 10 days, I apologise for not making this earlier, but with maturity comes meticulousness please Pardon me but here comes my tale.
After my said appointment that was published by President Muhammadu Buhari on the 30/31 of December 2017, there was jubilation by myself, my God, my family, friends, fans alike. That list of appointees was subsequently withdrawn to fill in replacements for the members who had passed on. Fast forward to March 5th 2018, while I was getting set for my inauguration on the 8th of March, I suddenly came across a publication on daily trust newspapers that showed the list of people to be inaugurated and couldn’t find my name on the board of the National Space Research Development Agency (NASRDA) an agency under the Ministry of Science and Technology. I immediately contacted the leadership of the party and government, using internal mechanisms to correct this anomaly before Thursday 8th of March but I didn’t succeed. However I pressed on because just two members were sworn in and I knew my position as the third member of the board had only been delayed so I pressed on. At midnight of the 7th of March when it dawned on that wouldn’t be inaugurated, I called my people at Ogoja and across the country to ask them not to come to Abuja anymore, in doing that, I had to explain to the best of my ability what the issue was.
While the social media space has been awash with lots of tales, I had to visit the Hon. Minister of Science and technology Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu in his office and we had an hour long discussion...
I apologised first for all what he has been exposed to, and though he is a public officer and is responsible to over 150M Nigerians, I condemn in strong terms the people who called and harassed, blackmailed and threatened his life or that of his family. I state clearly that I didn’t ask anyone to do that and I abhor violence or intimidation of any sort but peaceful defiance to correct any wrong is admonish-able. That said, let me state a little of what transpired between The Hon. Minister and I. I told him that I visited his office as soon as I was inaugurated and got wind of the fact that the DG of the agency was bent of changing the Presidents appointees despite that he had been there 10years and is due to retire as the act had said two terms of 5years and no more. I tried my best to see him and inform him that I had read the act and the President was right about my own appointment at least, but his staff gave me no access. However I told him what the act stated, the act stated that 2 out of the 3 appointees must be members of Nigerian academy of Science and COREN, the minister told me how it was COREN that sent its registrar or former as a member and I said it was fine, the second member was also a fellow of the Nigerian academy of Science so that quota was also filled. The act said 2 out of 3 it inferred that the third member could be a biologist ,Pharmacist or anyone with a science back ground and without any knowledge of space science for that matter. Fortunately the President chose me because I had a degree in Engineering and he alone had my CV. I also went on to distinguish my self in Satellite technology, Space Science and ICT. I’m stating a few here. I told him
1) After the announcement for my appointment I had made contact requesting that @Elon Musk arguably the smartest man on the planet, a South African/ Canadian born American billionaire worth over 20BN dollars and owner of Tesla help develop our Space Transportation Center in Ipe, one of the agencies under NASRDA,?if you are science inclined, you will record that his project Space X just took some Tesla vehicles to Mars turning the myth of Mars travel and habitation to reality.
2) I had also approached amazon to reset its bandwidth in a way that its digital assistant could be usable in Nigeria and I’m constantly in touch with them to achieve that.
3) I also stated synergies with NIMET,NNPC,NDDC amongst other sister agencies to achieve optimal and efficient output to the agency .
Finally I told him the agency under the present leadership was bound to fail NASRDA is in sole way the NASA of the USA, but as I was sitting in his office, there didn’t have electricity, their website had been down for four years and the had less than 190 followers and only followed 13 people of Twitter, an individual like has more followers than the agency and NASA of the United States has 28M followers. I further elucidated the benefit of twitter and the website. Well we talked a whole lot and I promised that if he helped get me on the board, I will open the agency to aid, grant and investment of up to to 10-100BN annually in very Strategic and secure ways through global contacts that God almighty had blessed me with. I left his office after all told him I would keep praying for him.
I want to state here unequivocally that the Presidency is aware and please let’s let the hon. Minister have his peace please . It’s the absolute prerogative of the President to act and we pray he confirms his decision .
I want to thank the good people of Ogoja and Cross River State for their bi-partisan show of Solidarity , I thank you all.
Further still I pray that we don’t take our eyes off the ball cause Ogoja,Cross River State and Nigeria will be great again.
It is said that before your greatest miracle comes your toughest opposition . I pray that you believe in each other the way you have believed in me, be hopeful always cause there is nothing false about hope!
The word of God is explicit when it states “Those that know their God will do exploits”
I love you all and God bless us all.
Eric Kanjal.

use the internet and learn yourself. you'll be glad you did.
Some skills like googling the internet to find helpful solutions will become valuable.
If some concepts are hard for you to comprehend. enrol in mooc classes like
1.
CS50 introduction to computer science on edx.

2. (pennx) programming for the web and JavaScript on edx

you can also use udemy, Lynda or get them free on torrent sites. whichever way.

BTW have a project in mind while learning. (do I want to develop an ecommerce website,
booking/reservations website etc?. This decision will help you choose the programming language you should focus on and speed up your learning process.)

Thank you very much. Actually I download some videos on html but got tired along the line while watching. But what language would u recommend for one who wants to create an ecommerce website?

I have grabbed a basic knowledge of html but I want to go further. What should a novice like me start with? I live in Kubwa, Abuja and I'm ready to enrol for programming classes.
