Good morning guys and congrats to all of you who have made it this far. I also sat for the exams at Enugu State but wasn't successful. I believe my weakness was in the area of financial accounting where I didn't have any idea on those questions. However, I applied for the Management Associate Programme and has been sent an invite. Would it be wise if I go given the fact that my first and second degrees are in Sciences?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Apply For The 2017 First Bank Of Nigeria Limited Management Associate Programme by FixNaija(m): 9:21pm On Sep 24, 2017
I got the invite but not really sure if I will go given the fact that I wrote the GTP last year and wasn't successful due to too many financial accounting questions. Graduates from other fields just have to go extra mile to withstand the test.

When will Cross River State receive their devices?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: N-Power: Device Delivery Update by FixNaija(m): 6:38pm On Sep 08, 2017
npowerng:
Good morning,
Please read this carefully.
1. You will recall that we shared a Device Delivery Update on the 5th of August and explained the process of receiving, pre-loading and delivering the devices.
2. You will also recall that we stated that the Federal Government of Nigeria entered into an Asset Finance Agreement with the Bank of Industry to provide devices. Certain vendors were preapproved by the Bank of Industry to provide those devices.
3. As at today, some vendors have delivered their devices but Brian and Speedstar are yet to be delivered.
4. Now for the devices that have been delivered, a team is currently pre-loading each device with over one million resources which includes videos, textbooks and so much more.
5. To move the process along, we have begun to deliver devices to beneficiaries (who selected devices before March, 2017) in Lagos and Abuja.
6. There has however, been a hold on delivering devices to N-Agro volunteers in Lagos and Abuja.
*Lagos, because they have not completed their training with the Ministry of Agric.
*Abuja, because a huge number of N-Agro beneficiaries did NOT turn up for the training. The ones who turned up will be contacted soon.
7. Those who received their devices in Lagos and Abuja would have noticed that they had to go to the MTN Service Centers to collect them.
8. But the pace was not very fast, so it was ramped up for Rivers State.
9. For those collecting devices in Rivers, we ask that you be orderly, don't rush. It is NOT a first come, first serve basis. Each device has been marked with your name. NO ONE can give your device to anyone else.
10. We understand some scrupulous elements have been demanding money from you to get into the venue. DO NOT PAY ANYONE.
Take a photo, record a video and post it here, it will be addressed immediately.
11. Shipping has begun to 7 other states asides from Lagos, Abuja and Port-Harcourt. The states will be announced once the logistics have been fully addressed.
12. Please understand that this is a process. Everyone will get their devices. Be patient.
All parties are working assiduously to ensure that the devices get into your hands in the shortest time possible.
Remember this Device Delivery Update is for those who selected devices before March 27th, 2017.

You just made me laugh . . . I am surprised that all the "something else" you have been busy doing couldn't even add up to fund your MSc in a European country (including Germany that tuition is mostly free), to the extent that you are asking for sponsorship in 'sugar daddy' threads.

Anyway, if you had up to 4.0/5 CGPA or close to that, try and send me a P.M. Something could be worked out for France, Switzerland or Germany (those are the places I'm familiar with). But I cannot guarantee for this session starting September/October 2017 because it's too close already.

In the meantime, www.daad.de and www.campusfrance.org have a range of study/funding options that you could explore.

Bro Pls connect me ASAP. I need sponsorship for my Ph. D. I have 4.13/5.0 in my M. Sc

Please. Who has heard from unical. I passed through student affairs and saw a notice where only 6 students were invited to pick up their scholarship letters. I believe that Cannot be the total number of students shortlisted cos no body was shortlisted from medicine in that list. All attempts to reach them was unproductive. Please Wat should I do

I went to DSA and met the woman incharge of scholarship and she told me that those names pasted there were for 2015/2016 batch and that they haven't sent 2016/2017 to her. However, she told me that she has also been transferred from that office. So I think you should go back there this week and check your department as well. Pls endeavour to update us just in case you get any info.

I have a gud paying job bro. Look at that recruitment process objectively, was it fair. I have a 2.1 in one of the courses advertised for the job, but I have someone from thesame place, attended thesame school that study a course that was not among the ones listed as criteria, not even close and graduated with 3rd class, buy got that job then. Now tell me the criteria used for such person. I am not hating but point out a fact.

It was obvious the only criteria used then was connection and luck. Complaints were made then but u didn't say anything because u were a beneficiary, when the coin were turned, u are now here crying foul, go and sleep my friend.

When fighting injustice, fight it with objectivity, whether the said course favors u or not.

I don't insult, I present facts...

You are just a pathetic liar! I went through your profile and saw how much you have been hunting for Nigeria Immigration Service job since 2013 and because you couldn't get it, you had no other alternative than to go into something else. Stop fooling yourself that you don't need a FG job.
You also said something about having 2:1, bro go and make findings and you will discover most of those guys had 1st class and some also has Master's degree.
Go and sleep!

I just have one question to ask. If you were among those selected, would you have said anything? Answer honestly... One thing with Nigerians is their inability to be objective. They only fight for things that will favour them.
And one thing with some other Nigerians is that once they weren't successful in an interview/test for a job, the next thing they begin to do is to view the entire recruitment as being bias!

Pple acting as if its a must for the govt to give them job. Make una no go find job for una sef.

If you pple really want to fight injustice. Start from the 1k paid that we hvnt heard anything.

Then go down to the initially criteria for Bsc that said 2nd class upper but I saw 2.2 and 3rd class getting the job.

Then also go down to that initial screening that produced that 2000 officer, in your right sense, was that sham screening? No questions were asked, just reluctantly check documents and height, then they produced 2000 officers.

Everybody knows that the Jonathan administration just rushed that recruitment to conclude everything about it before they go, I have not seen a govt recruitment so quick like that one. In my opinion that recruitment is supposed to be cancelled outrightly.

However, in other not to be termed a bad govt, they opted out for rescreening which to me was d best idea, have you asked why the entire 2000 officers did not show up, it was another irregularities in that same recruitment, we point out then the repetition of names but pple that were beneficiaries of that sham recruitment said it was the best and transparent recruitment so far.

You pple believing that after rescreening, you all will till make it, don't know the meaning of screening after all. If they wanted all to make it, they will just absorb all without screening.

My advice to those affected is that, in as much as I feel very sorry for what happened, channel these efforts to other endeavours. Nis is not the only govt agency in Nigeria, govt is not the only employer of Labour. Furthermore, your employer can sack you whenever, he or she deems it necessary. Whether una train or not.

If you are championing the irregularities, start from the beginning, demand for the outright cancellation of everything and champion a fresh start .

All I see in all these protest is selfishness. because if these pple petitioning were favored. No one would have heard their voice.

Your comment only goes to show how frustrated and shallow in reasoning that you are. What you and I and every other well-meaning youths out there should do should be to encourage and stand by these lads because if we don't fight this injustice now, it will continue while jobs such as NpowerNG will be reserved for the ordinary youth.
Be wise for once!
Shalom
