I still don't trust these products going by the antecedents of easterners at producing most things with low standard materials. I won't be surprised if these cars pack up in maximum of 2years. Its better to stick to foreign cars that we've tested and trusted. There are other ways to grow the economy than put Nigerian lives at risk all because an Igbo man is desperate to make money. The senate needs to ban innoson for now undecided undecided

Religion / Re: Reasons Why The First Day Of The Week, Sunday Is Important To Christians. by Fixryte(m): 8:40pm On Jan 03, 2016
timilehing:
So many Christians nowadays takes their Bible reading less serious but prefer listening to modified sweet-talks from Pastors.

Days in The Bible were referred to as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th day of the week. Sunday was never mentioned.

According to God's instructions to the Israelites, they were to work from 1st day of the week to the 6th day & rest on the 7th. The Sabbath was always performed on the resting day which is the last day of the week according to The Bible.

If you're taking Sunday as the first day, it's either you're disobeying God's direct other or I don't know what else that is.

Sunday is the last day of the week. Monday through Saturday we work.

If you can give any logical explanation based on both Old and New Testament contents that suggests Sunday as the first day, I may be interested in further questions.

The issue of Sunday being the first day of the week started with people who believed they should start the week in God's presence rather than ending it with Him.

According to the bible sunday is the first day of the week...

Read mark 16 , 1-5
Mark: 16.
1. And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2. And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
3. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
4. And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
5. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. -

Religion / Re: Was Jesus Born On Christmas Day? by Fixryte(m): 6:56pm On Dec 25, 2015
ajoguegbe:
The message in the event is more important than the date. Sometimes I don't celebrate my bday on the same day I was born. If it falls into a saturday for instance I can celebrate with my co-workers on Monday. Does it cancle or rule out the fact that its still my birthday? My grand mother doesn't know her birthday, is it a crime if we give her a day in the year and start celebrating her that day in every year, just to make a day her special day.

Forget all those Jehovah Witness arguments that doesnt change any man and lets look at how to use the season to promote the person of Christ. In case you don't know, Christmas is one event that reminds Muslims and many others that Jesus remains a global force world over

please try to finud out how they come about the name 'chrismass' i.e. christ + mas

Politics / Re: Remove Subsidy, Stimulate Infrastructure, Tinubu Tells Buhari by Fixryte(m): 7:31am On Dec 19, 2015
mars123:
Tinubu is talking short term, you are talking long-term. If the government is serious, subsidy would be removed and palliatives will be put in place to cushion the effect on vulnerable citizens like free meals, transport, portable water. The end justifies the means. There will be protests initially but with palliatives, it will go down. governance is not rocket science. Tinubu is making sense.

please how do u mean by short term...? mayb 2015-2019

do u think that we need this free meal project ?

instead of giving us one free meal per day ,

why not give us a qaulity educational system,

stable power supply, 'indus-frastructural' development

( barn the importation of some certain goods to Nigeria ..... do u know that ordinary tooth pick is imported from china )

so that we can be able to fend for ourselves 3 meals or more per day
