Guys, i think we just have to move on. This whole is was as a result of my mistake but the ish here is most people fail to draw a thin line between a mistake and a misguided or false information. Someone requested for an info and i "mistakenly" gave a rather incomplete info which i corrected later on. All i expected was a rather polite way of correcting that info instead of coming here to spew trash at me. Making mistakes doesnt make one completely inperfect, on the other hand having a grip of some info at the tip of your fingers doesnt make you one "effiwe" or one perfect being. To the man who got a rather incomplete info from me, apologies please. I am glad you got the right info. Cheers.

Regarding your advice that the highest qualification should be the one evaluated, My wife had her first degree In LASU and her post graduate diploma in Unilag. Should the two be evaluated considering they are from different institutions, or only the PGDE should be evaluated?

You need to learn how to act your age. Learn to differentiate between a mistake (whc i have corrected) and a wrong advise. If all you do is come here to lashout at people, i'll place you where you belong cos i dont care who you are. For the newbies of which i am one of them, truth be told..if u wana succeed in the EE adventure, biko..mbok..abeg..buy a small notebook and save any info you get here. Some questions have been answered here severally. Today i simply stumbled on where to do your medicals and all i did was to write them down. Did same for PCC. On page 0 you have loads of info..print them or write down key info. Please take a step first then if you get hooked, you can then ask questions. Also try to play around with google and CIC site. All the best.

Hmmmm still don't understand why the inconsistencies. WES will require from some and not require from others

Are you sure WES does not require your certificate for evaluation? Please check your WES account properly. Certificate and transcript are both usually required.

@ Tojued...certificate isn't required since the qualification was from UK. They indicated just transcript.

if royalmail was used...maximum is 7days....mine got to WES within that period though it might take WES additional 3 working days to update the profile

@ifeoma77 and tolfa...yes royalmail was used. The school sent a mail that the transcript was sent on 19th of April. I hope they receive it this week.

Just got off the phone with my school I requested for, and paid for transcripts to be sent to WES since late march. They haven't sent it.
And UK schools are supposed to be stress-free
Thank God I decided to check on the status of my ECA. WES has been showing 'we have received your documents, you don't need to do anything at this time'. Ive been waiting for completion, not knowing that it's only the certificate that they've been accessing since.
Guys, don't just trust these people, they are swamped with work, use the phone lines and disturb them. Immediately after speaking with the WES rep, they updated my status to indicate that the certificate is accepted and the transcripts had not been received.
I called the school, hoping to at least hear that it's in transit already...
Oh well, better late than never

@Ifeoma77...WES does not require your certificate for evaluation. All they need is your transcript. I am also shocked my transcript has not gotten to WES aswell. My school in the UK said i will take atleast 3weeks for it to be delivered bearing in mind i used standard delivery. This week will be second week

Let him get a reference letter detailing his duties and making it clear that he manages the bakery. He doesn't have to write that he delivers bread abeg. Since he has the same surname as owner, he can draft a good letter himself and get it signed. You can help him to do a good job and ensure that it closely matches the NOC classification. 3 years experience is good enough IMO. You can remind me tomorrow or Wednesday (cos of hols ), let's draw up something.

This Canada EE thing can drain the hell outta you..especially when you are just confused over some info. From reading page 0 to getting conflicting responses. The long wait of WES evaluation is another agent that can send frustration down your spine...hahhahahaha..
Me i have resolved to take everything one step at a time biko..before i develop HBP. From bookmarking down to writing down infos on a special book then sending pm to gurus..meehhhnn this journey aint easy.
WES should be fast abeg...lemme jump into the pool and know what next.

Hello all, this is how I was finally able to request to pay courier fees from WES CA to my institution for verification of my documents... So instead of waiting for 2-4 weeks for your verification to be sent via regular mail to your school that is far away from Lagos , you can pay courier fees to expedite the processes. I had to write the letter below and faxed it via hellofax as suggested on this group, this was after I had used the contact us 3 times and I never got a positive response. N/B: this request also attracted higher HST (ie instead of paying a total of $120.91 CAD for evaluation upgrade, I paid $216.96 CAD)

Yes you can. Just contact WES through their site, fill the contact form, select payment, then write a short mail that you are aware that you are not suppose to pay for HST and you do not stay in Canada then you submit. Thats all. Then expect a reply from them within 3days

So atlast WES has decided to respond to my HST refund in less than one week. Payment will come in within 5 business days. Thanks to the guys that chipped in that.
