hello house please help me oo.Am about to pay for my visa application but as at now it is only first bank card that is working and the daily limit of that first bank card is 500$ and i am to pay 827$ plus priority fee.Please what can i do?

Walaha don dey be that. The best option now is to find someone in the US or the UK to use his or her card to help you pay then you pay he or she the naira equivalent.

Hello all, please I need confirmation about the kind of statement of account I must present to show the required funds. Apart from my dad or workplace or school. What about individual sponsor that will write a letter to that effect but won't b transfered to my account. Or any other available means.
That's the main issue am facing now.

Statement of an individual wont be accepted. It has to be your parent. Why not tell the person to transfer it to your dad's account then you print it after 28days

if u submitted yout waec to be assessed den u submit it. if ielts was assessed den u use it. submit wat u used to be assessed.

That's not a problem, dey can always track your IHS number. Just relax yourself. You will get your visa

I used ISO.
My school allowed us to purchase health insurance outside. It's not like it's compulsory to pay the said amount though some OBO decided to pay the $600/semester.

It usually takes 5 working days for a decision to be made on priority applications, therefore you would have only 2 days for collection which is impossible considering how inefficient TLS sorting and collection procedure is.
You can use one day priority or try to get a closer date.

I disagree with you. TLS Abuja is very effective, probably those at Lagos are ineffective. Mine took exactly 5 working days for a decision to be made and I picked it up on the 7th day. So I will still suggest she goes for priority.

My school resumes on Monday, the 3rd of October and the latest possible resumption date is 17th October.
So basically i applied for a visa (standard); and after more than a month, it was declined due to a miscalculation in the 28 day money rule. so basically they concluded that i had insufficient funds for maintenance, since it hadn't been in my account for 28 days.

Today, i lodged a new application. And the only interview day i got was the 5th of October. I will definitely pay for priority. Is there actually a realistic chance of getting this visa before the 17th?

Also, how does one pay for priority, for the Abuja visa office?

I used Abuja visa office too. Yeah you can actually get your visa before 17th if you pay for priority. Mine took exactly 7days. To pay for priority, you will have to register with a TLS agent after you have paid for your visa. You will see it there on your application page. After registering on the TLS page, you will go to added value services and you will select priority service then make your payment. Please try to be fast with it. Please make sure you confirm all your documents before going for your interview. If you need guidance, we can also give you some guide so you dont make some errors. This thread has all it takes to help anyone here. If you have your interview on the 5th and u pay for priority, latest 12th or 13th you will get your visa.

ooppsss!!!! Where do i start from? ...and after i had my interview last week, i had to switch over to thinking mode...in my definition, its a mode where u sit up late at night and be thinking about a refusal letter, its also a state where u see nkworbi or better afang soup with enof kpomor and u just stare at it while swallowing saliva severally.

This mode was still active until this morning when i got a collection mail and immediately i started experiencing the call of nature...the toasted bread i was about to eat suddenly fell off my hand and i ran into the room thinking about how i will either rejoice or lament at TLS Abuja; ran into the bathroom, still trying to ansa the call of nature, had a fresh bath and was ready to damm the consequences of whatever i receive.

As i got to TLS, i was just wonderin what will become of me but thanks to MrsDaniels and Mcstar who gave me a very significant tip on how to know if one is refused or granted a visa and the tip is once u get ur parcel and u feel ur passport spread out then know that u have been granted but if its not, then broda, sister, ur name na sorry.

As i got mine, i felt it and lo and behold it was spread and i knew it was a big YES. i suddenly tore the pack and lo and behold my passport was stamped. I suddenly started laughing and laughing and oh my God, i went down the lift and zoomed off. Now this is my timeline:

Submitted application on September 20th
Received at Sheffied on September 22nd
Got decision mail on September 26th
Got collection mail on September 28th.
Paid for priority service anyway.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY, VISA APPROVED.

No it won't affect in any way. You have until October 10th to enrol that's what it means. But I had suggest it is better you travel this weekend or get to school next week once you get your visa cos this week would likely be just for induction, collection of BRP, and some students will begin enrolment.

Next week, your lectures would likely start.

@fizzle did you pay for courier? If NO you can just stroll to their office today or tomorrow to see if your passport has been returned

And so i missed my flight yesterday, thanks to those useless immigration officers that was just flipping and flipping tru my passport asking stupid question that you like to travel alot, why are you not studying here in our country, as if they havent seen a traveller bfr, i just didnt respond cos i owe them no explanation also asking me for bribe too. Outta anger i said no i dont have money to give anyone and the annoying part was that i got to the airport 2pm and checked in my luggages cos my flight was to leave 5:55pm with emirates airline and then was relaxing wit folks in one lounge upstairs, thanks to my flight peeps too who made announcement more earlier than the time they input on the boarding pass for gate to close, i ended up rushing down only to see my flight about to take off and had to pay extra 100dollars to reschedule my flight for today...lots of pple missed their flight as i saw it on their register when i was signing out and went to revoke the immigration sign in stamp on my passport and then went to retrieve my luggages from the arrival hall. Pls guys if ur travelln make sure to be inside the boarding arena even one hour before the time in your boarding pass Wishing you all a lovely day.

Thought you submitted your application .. u av to wait up to 90 days before it's refunded. A refusal is almost instant

I paid another IHS for the application that was submitted. The former application wasn't completed cos i used up my 5 chances of paying for my visa fee. That application was cancelled even after i had paid my IHS, so i had to start a new one and made a new IHS payment. So i need a refund of the initial IHS fee.

@justwise, @spikes C and other gurus in the house... PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

I picked up my passport for my tier 4 application today and I was unfortunately refused.

The only reason for refusal was that I had insufficient funds. This was however a wrong decision by the ECO because I was awarded a 3000 pounds bursary by the uni and was CLEARLY stated on my CAS. My questions are

1. Is there any faster approach to contact the ECO apart from an administrative review as my uni resumed today?

2. If No, is there any way to fast track an administrative review as I am worried the process might take up to 28 days which by then I might be late for uni enrolment

3 Does anyone know how long on average, an administrative review takes (I know home office says within 28 days)

4. Is administrative review free or do I have to pay £80 and send the reference number with my application?

Any other information will be helpful as I plan to submit first thing tomorrow.
