MrsDaniels: [ Yes and i think even justwise has mentioned here too in his subsequent posts. You can correct with pen or type or write a short cover letter telling the vo that there is an error on ur dob when you printed it out that the actual dob is so so and so. Simple if this second option makes u more better. Its allowed cos thats why u see them courier those application forms with ur oda supporting documents to the Uk for processing, thats the only way to correct as you cant correct it again after online submission. Write it neatly on an A4 sheet explaining just as have said to show the discrepancy in ur dob. All the best dear! Please who do I address it to? Have been so confused. Couldn't sleep through the night. Been awake thinking my head out. cc MrsDaniels |

fizzile: Just as the thread relates to how Nigerian students in the UK cope, please I wana ask a few questions.
(1) Presently for those going soon or those who have just arrived UK,please how can one best handle maintenance bearing in mind the current exchange rate? Getting PTA is difficult and getting from black marketers is just out of it. Apart from withdrawing with the mastercard, what other means can you suggest?
(2) Secondly how many of you have heard of afrotradegroup? Heard one can transfer money from Nigeria to UK through them. If u have used them, how efficient and reliable are they?
Expecting responses. Please i need some responses |

CSSPATRICK: Hello @ everyone on this forum. I want to first of all thank you guys for the kind of informative posts and comments u make here. Kudos for the good job.
I have few questions please.
I want to know if anyone here have had his tier 4 visa application processed recently within 10 working days without paying for the so called priority service.
Secondly, from experience gathered so far, what can you say that the rate of UK visa rejection is like and the predominant reasons.
Thirdly, I will like to I identify with anyone heading to or already in Newcastle. Need some info about travelling arrangements and stuffs like that.
Kindly PM me,
Thank you. Its unfortunate that your are seeking for help here but yet condemning the priority service. what makes you think its "so-called"? don't worry when time comes you will know if its so called or not. cheers. |

Yababoy: Thanks for this. I was able to make a token withdrawal of GBP70 at 507 to a pound today. I was constrained by the daily limit of USD100. The daily limit for GTB ATM withdrawal is $300 and not $100. |

Yababoy: Who has information about this Afrotrade people. Are they genuine and how does the process work? Urgently, need to get pounds now. They are genuine. A couple of people use them a lot. U will register online, then fill out a form to transfer funds, then u will be given their bank accounts, once u pay in into the account, u will now instruct them to transfer d pounds equivalent to a UK account. |

Brianchike: Oga no vex, when I tried paying for the priority with a different card it kept declining until I used the card I had earlier used for the previous transactions. It's just cautionary. Maybe the fault is from the card. Probably the card isn't yet activated for online transactions. |

Hey guys, how you all doing? Please have you guys heard of afrotradegroup? Just got to know about it from the Student Union President at Coventry Uni.,and he told me a couple of them over there receive money through the transfer agency. I had to go through the site and put a call across to the office in the UK to get a few info. From the info I got from the President and the Office aswell, you register free on the platform and if u wana send money, u fill a form on the site and pay in the Naira amount while the Pounds equivalent is paid into your UK account after confirmation. As at today, the office informed me that their rate is 517 to a pound which is way better than the black market rate of 535 as at this afternoon. From the look of things, getting a PTA seems almost impossible and using the Mastercard with the whole limit issue is worrisome. So I wana ask those in the UK, have u also heard of afrotradegroup? Does it seem a good deal? cc: Justwise, OlowoB, MrsF, MrsDaniels, Chucksbenin |
