Does it mean the VOs don't verify from the banks what you truely have in your account? As in do they depend solely on the statement you present. Cos am having same challenge; I will need some money to pay for the visa,ihs and oda stuffs of which I have as part of the money in the account. Will it be right to print my statement den withdraw the amount I need? Which brings me back to the question, will they in anyway verify if what is on ur statement is EXACTLY what u have in ur account?
Am not talking of the authenticity of the statement but the EXACT amount on the statement and what u have in d account.

That's the form VAF9. You'll find it on the gov.uk site under visas and immigration. It contains all the questions you'll answer online during your application. You'll have to print it and fill by hand. It's the first thing that will be collected from you along with the photocopy of your data page at the reception.

I forgot to submit my oanda sheet and passport photograph, I hope this will not be used against me.

I want to advise anyone who is planning to submit his/herapplication should remember to print self assessment form. I didt go with mine because I didt see it on the application website when I was filling my application. I had to pay 21naira per page at the teleperformance centre in Ikj.

Guys, please which one is self assessment form? Just hearing that.

What's your problem? R u okay? Have u seen schools that accept 2.5,2.6 with a good GRE? Should I mention such schools for you? Its like ur new here and don't know your left from right. I only adviced him to evaluate his transcript which he could be lucky to have his GPA increase to about 2.5 or 2.6/4 and den possibly do very well in GRE. Abeg if your new here u simply pype low and not show urself. I have seen a GPA of 1.6 being evaluated and it came out 2.56. #newbies everywhere#

Got the required amount of money needed in my account of the 11th and started my 28days count on that day and the 28th day will be on 7th of September, is it okay printing my statement of account the next day which is 8th? Dats printing statement bearing 11th August to 7th September.

Just to set the records straight, hope we all know that the 15 working days actually start counting from the day you receive that email from UKVI that they have received your documents and application, not from the day of your application or interview because that is where they will officially declare to you that the process will take 15 days. Besides they cannot process what they have not seen. Thanks guys

Please I have to warn that soon people will start emerging all in the name of being agents or have worked in so so and so. Have noticed one today who just registered on nairaland today with an attractive username and there's every possibility that some might run to he or she for tips on how to go about the various stages of the process and end up as victims just as many have in different fora.
My advice: We have gurus here who are ever-willing to give you whatever info you need. Just put ur question and you will surely get responses. Avoid agents, I beg you. Avoid all sort of juicey usernames.
