Jobs/VacanciesRe: Planning For A Successful Career After National Youth Service by fizzy4luv(m): 10:25pm On Oct 16, 2014
Honestly,OP really hit the nail on the head, service year is meant to be use effectively,I concentrated so much on my ppa to the detritment of rigorous job search,it really set me back as my peers who utilised their time well resumed work the following week while those who had earlier obtain masters form prepare for their admission into universities. To make matters worse I was duped by a childhood friend of part of my hard earned money.Though I'm now employed, thanks to God but I can't even wish the sit at home experience for my enemy.it was terrible,it is one experience nobody can understand unless he or she pass through it expecially when it is also being characterised by regret mails. To those still in service, take the advice above seriously and you will be beaming with confidence on POP day.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Who Else Got This Message From Idisco? by fizzy4luv(m): 5:12pm On Sep 26, 2014
@cyrus,you should have made enquiries into the claim about workforce being part of the outsourcing companies for the recruitment before rubbishing it,IdIsco on taking over lay off many PHCN staff, hence my opinion for this mass recruitment, moreover their coverage area(oyo, osun, ogun, kwara and part of kogi) is large and will thus need large workforce to man it.@Kennedyos,he is on documentation stage with workforce, personally I don't think it will be long in view of idisco 1yr anniversary in November and if it is no wahala,@zinos55-i will want to agree with you, probably the (60-70) salary may be for a certain period because I learnt from the Edo distribution company thread, that their offer letter have a contract period.all in all,why not let's all focus on what is at hand and if the offer comes eventually,we make our personal decisions

Jobs/VacanciesRe: FCMB Direct Sales Agent (lagos) by fizzy4luv(m): 3:50pm On Sep 04, 2014
FCMB is really a nice bank with good track records, but I was astonished with the way their DSA programme is being managed. The target annouced was really eyes bulging only for the interviewer to annouce a salary of 35k although with commission.Did a simple calc and realise I will just probably end up using a better part of the salary on (lagos) tfare if I really want to meet up with the 3.5M monthly target. My own piece though.I have a friend who was employed through the same DSA programme and was not sent out to the field but assigned telemarketing which I think still agrees with 35K.My advice is for you to shun the DSA recruitment if you are averse to marketing but if you believe you are capable ,gave it a try.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: .. by fizzy4luv(m): 3:38pm On Aug 22, 2014
Knucklehead seems funny by attacking agapecharis for pasting the invite on nairaland, even if Op did not paste it,I'm sure guys will eventually get a means of obtaining it else where.Gatecrashing a test is not a new thing and if the job is destined to be yours, even if people come in multitudes, you will get it.My only fear is the degree of desperation that ve set in whereby I witness some peeps having hardcopy invites not from fidelity but sent from friends, this really made one of the H R personnel angry that he later turned nasty. Having the invite on phone incase you re lucky is still okay by me which was what I did afterall not doing the test Is not the end of life,I was turned back as well and I teamed up with three other people, stormed their head office to see if we could submit our CV,providence smiled on us.to that beautiful light skinned lady among us I tuale, you get mouth. Its a matter of time we will all get there by God grace. My piece

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Contract Bank Marketing, A Career Or A Job? by fizzy4luv(m): 1:09pm On Aug 21, 2014
Good points raised by @Chyna4luv,marketing as a chosen career possess a lot of prospects when incentives and remuneration goes along with it.A marketer earns more than his colleague who works in the operation dept,he gets promoted faster and thus rise faster in position but in comparision a marketer based on contract is devoid of majority if not all of these packages,no car available for him to patronise customers, his commision is strictly attached to his performance, the inferiority status placed on the job position itself is killing with barely little chance for advancement in the organisation

PoliticsRe: Omisore Blows Heavy Grammar by fizzy4luv(m): 10:14am On Jul 29, 2014
While their age-mates in other climes are busy gearing efforts to ensure good governance, they post ethnic jargons cum grammer inconsistency on nairaland.last time I checked the consitution, the least education requirement for governorship position still remains school certificate or equivalent, why bother your poor self on a foreign adopted lingua franca rather than on how a perfomer will emerge from the race.
