I agree with points raised on the two visitors of the institutions, those guys in saner climes would have been impeached for failing to rise up to be counted. What is even embarrassing is the deafening public silence of the chancellor of the Ivory Tower, who is a well celebrated political juggernaut,i find it ridiculous to accept that he can't step in to resolve matters amicably for academical work to go on smoothly. Why hold the post if you can't function ? However your aspersions on the person of the Vice Chancellor is where i go North with you. That man class of breed is uncommon, infact going by what he meet on ground, that school should have been grounded since 2012/2013 academic session if not for his prudence style and commitment to ensure running expenses are paid. In fact being an alumni of the school particularly of the quoted set, i will forever be grateful he was the one holding the reins, albeit acting capacity. Your mention of using proceeds from school bakery, honey, farms etc to run a university that was once the best State University for two times consequently to me is an illusion. mere looking at the outstanding debt profile should tell you that Universities thrive on huge investment especially a Technological oriented school. Personally i think Osun government should divest from the school, it's obvious despite assurances from Oyinlola and Aregbesola, the State can't cope with running Lautech and UniOsun simultaneously even though that of Lautech is shared with Oyo State. An MOU should be drafted between the two states on how the interest of Osun will be protected( Lecturers and students of Osun Origin) while a committee should be saddled with how the assets will be shared amicably within the two states. Any other solution i bet you will only be transient and won't last long especially with the economic situation of both states especially Osun. |
Common this is rubbish , why will the body act like that? those students should be placed on AR and made to see the footage as well. Even quite as strong as a video evidence is in the court of Law, it is still subjected to cross examination and the accused are given a rope to see if they can wriggle out of the mess. Mehn in this country, anything goes . |
pls house, Is their anybody with info on icon stockbrokers remuneration and work ethics? will appreciate any info on them. Thanks |

Well sentiments aside, I know the state Govt would have communicated to them before the act in one way or the other. What i find becoming a terrible trend with this present dispensation is going to demolish all this market in the night . This i think is the aspect the people in charge should be cautioned on . Some if not all this people have their wares in the stores and also keep proceeds overnight in their shops. you demolish their shop with wares and money inside is an act i think should be frowned at. |
The issue with EFCC recently is the fact that the anti -graft body have virtually win all its cases on media and none in the hallowed chambers of court. The potent of this is that innocent people will be tried and convicted before they have the chance to defend themselves. Bills should be raised to ban all this media parley from EFCC until the case is done with in court and then face of the criminal can now be shown to the public. Imagine the embarrassment this has caused our apex intelligence apparatus among sister intelligence agencies in the world, which would have been saved if Magu had also taken time to look at the DG's angle before the whole matter was made public . Anyway still awaiting the official pronouncement of the Investigative Panel |

Honestly, Op did a nice write up and expressed my opinions freely . That man is just an attention seeker who just thought liberation struggle is a cheap fight and didn't envisage prison life as one of those sacrifices he had to make to keep the Biafra dream going.I wonder if this same Man who jumped at the slightest opportunity of bail can pay the supreme price if such arise for the Biafra dream to manifest. Pity those his comrades still in prison and those who threw their weight behind him to meet their death, they should know how to identify a leader when next they see one for those still alive. You just don't wake up and follow any body simply because he is shouting Biafra. Like Op clearly pointed out, what next for a caged liberation fighter? was shocked when he agree to those bail conditions. won't be surprised if he sneaks out of the country. he will only be following the laid down pathway of the originator of that idea called Biafra. To those people willing to hear and listen, NIGERIA IS FOR ALL AND SUNDRY, STRUGGLE TO MAKE IT TO THE TOP PEACEFULLY AND ENJOY YOUR LIFE. THEIR IS SPACE, JUST BELIEVE AND WORK HARD, YOU WILL GET THERE. TO SUBMIT YOUR WILL TO A CAUSE THAT WILL MAKE YOUR GENERATION CURSE YOU YEARS AFTER WILL BE A WASTED LIFE.My own personal opinion .one love |
SisiNini:The organization need to do something about their corporate culture which if i am to rank is bad. The whole workplace need to be given a professional touch and the staff given training on how to project positive vibes to visitors, so people can possess a good opinion about them.To those yet to get a job or fresh graduates can still still give them trial anyway, pending the time a better prospect comes up.They are still better than some coys in Lagos, some banks pay their DSA less than 50k to bring in amounts higher than 10M per month. jd1986: |
