I find it expedient to invoke the consciousness of members of this house of peace on a disturbing trend associated with above named people

Reading through a number of thread has been disgusting no thanx to their invasion via malicious posts.

I sympathise perfectly with the urge resident in members( olabowale,abuzola,mukina,jarus) of the house to take them up but when the intent of their thread/post is clearly spiteful, i shudder to think its the best thing to take them up.

A potential arguement is that we are only trying to educate them. thats splendid but when it degenerates to nauseating comments as these:

I wonder why a man who had 17-20 bedmates will want to handle a menstruating woman  (islamic theologians)

Oh yeah. Stop calling it my Bible. The majority of it is as worthless as the Qu'ran.(why does this happen)

am reluctant to agree it is best to always reply them.

but lets not forget the provisions of the Almighty in suratul kafirun.

Several verses of the quran educates that(kafir, not all) they will continute in their ways no matter how much you try.

summarily, some thread are not worth replying. the best is to apply the wisdom in suratul kafirun. i do not know if members of this blessed house reciprocate their invasion here in their house in a malicious way. It do not think its so difficult to decipher a shaytan inspired thread from a knowledge/clarification seeking one

i am particularly not familiar with the venue but getting a praying ground shouldnt be a challenge.

worst case scenario is a change of venue not outright cancellation of the programme

given the number of confirmed attendees, i suggest we make effort to publicise this thread.

May i congratulate jarus for the commendable idea.

Joint iftar for me dates back to the university days. am so loving the idea right now

it should be one-off. (once a year.)weekly is not realistic

i would rather convergence starts 5 pm and program proper starts 6pm cuz magrub would go for 7pm.
am suggesting 5-8pm.

any financial contribution expected?

1. is it good to wear jeans& top during fasting
2. is it good to chat with boyfriend during fasting
3. is it good to keep malice during fasting
4. is it good to trouser suite to work during fasting
5. is it good to visit boyfriend during fasting

Firstly, it is essential to say that what is not allowed in other months is not allowed in ramadan. there are no new hadith/quranic revelation during the blessed month of ramadan.

therefore:
1) wearing of jeans: trouser or skirt?. if trouser, outrightly disallowed. if skirt, is it revealing?, does it bring out your shape(curves), ? if yes, it is disallowed.

2)chat with a boyfriend;u can chat with a muslim male or your would be husband.( wouldnt know if boyfriend refers to any of these.) the subject matter of the chat should however be meaningful with respect to the holy month.

3)certainly not, not at another time.sure u knw that.

4)trouser is completely forbidden; Allah(SWT) has forbidden female from dressing associated with male and vice versa

5)male friend and would be husband, yes. but the location is crucial. should never be in his home (this is applicable in other months of the year) if in his home, tow of you should never be left alone behind close doors.  we all know the inherent danger in this.

baby-mi, by Allah, i have not spoken with my reasoning but by islamic injuction which is verifiable.

questions should not be directed to a mature muslim but a knowledgeable muslim, else u will be told what u will love to hear.

May Allah count us among those who shall witness and complete it and indeed many more to come.

i once watched an islamic phone in TV programme and i called in only for the anchor to inquire to know my goals in the holy month and i felt like, no goal. let us start fasting.

looking back, i feel that was so terrible of me. there must be goals. we shuld set goals in terms of number of quran to complete, number of people you want to make happy, break their fast for them, sick pple u want to visit,verses to memorise, virtue to imbibe during and after the month and vices to shun. with clearly defined goals, evaluation is made possible.


as we await the heralding of the holy month, let us remeber that we do not have to sight the moon ourselves, once a believing muslim has declared the sighting of the moon, LET THE FAST BEGIN.

may Allah make us witness many more of the holy month!
