all u need do is go to your mail box.there is a column for search mail.simply input 'firs' and u will see related messages. u are likely to find an acknowledgment mail from FIRS at the instance of your application

the hijab covers every parts of the body except for the face and hands.the hijab is not a scarf.its a long veil that covers a lady from head to toe.non fitting apparel with opening for the face and the hands alone.

could people possibly lust over hands and face? well perhaps.certainly not the way they would lust over a lady dressed in a top(blouse) that is miles away from her tight jeans trouser that struggles effortlessy to cover her butt but fails to.u seem them all around, dnt you?

here is my question.given the definition of hijab, have u ever lust after an hijab sister? i guess not.it takes a real pervert to lust after one dressed in such outfit coz there are no exposures nor curves on display.

here is my conclusion.that some people may still lust after a woman dressed in hijab does not mean the hijab should not be used.its a command from the Almighty.

When I went into suffism years ago, I observed your kind. They read copiously from hadiths and barely manage to read quran except when doing talisman. And what is more, they dont observe daily prayers as it was recommended. They relies on saints, and sheikhs to make important decisions. I was a good student and so challenged the above. I got a shocker. They tried to brainwash me. I told them, anything that contradict quran will be rejected by me. And I stood my ground. And when I have learned enough I left them.

Why am I going this far? It is to let you know that faith is not by mouth. There are people who make noise about Islam in public but are hypocrites.

On sultan, what a manner of correction are you making on nairaland? Is that Islamic? Just because people are married, that should not kill the romance. I have friend who still refers to his wife as his girlfriend. Thats a way of exitement in the marriage.

Generally speaking, everyone knows/agree that beauty of the body is not the ultimate but very crucial, hence the cardinal requirement that there must be a point of attraction.hence the prophet instruction 'to look at her again'

i am somewhat reluctant to think that the instruction 'look at her again' is with strict reference to character and other virtues, excluding beauty.

beauty attraction is very crucial and the Prophet recognised it, hence his advise that one should marry a woman who understand/practise islam.for we are all tempted to be overwhelmed by beauty. Naturally, a man's preference for a woman differs.

A woman is only allowed to expose her hands, face before non mahram( plus child,oldman etc).I am not aware of any exception to this express, unambigous quranic injuction. therefore, by way of advise, a bachelor who is deeply concerned abt the physical and physiological make up of a would be bride should liase with a trusted female friend who may well confirm(not describe) if the specification of the brother is in accordance with the sister.

This should however take place before they agree to marry each other.

For those of you who think that the muslims' concern and worry about the controversy of Gani Faweyinmi, should know that your reasonings are so far from reality that you are not making even a secular societal degree of sensibility.

First a person who as they claimed for SAN Faweyinmi did a lot of philantropical deeds should not end up like in the old anti charity adage of "taking it with him" be indulging in death in a gold casket burial.

If we turn around and play out the islamic card, we will notice that you do not retire as a muslim before your death and at death and still be said to be a true muslim. The one who ends up being consistent is the muslim. Islam's paradise is not by deeds alone, else Ted Turner, Bill Gates, but disbelievers in existence of God but great charity people will be in the uppermost level! But thats not it is. The first thing is that one believes throught out life and in death it gives such an indication. So Laa ilaha IlAllah is not said alive with other extramurals, hidden or openly, and of course in death goes completely against Islam!

Delay of burial without medical reasons, is not permissable because the body is no good to the society anyhow and if left alone for long becomes a burden, a dislike and an eyesore, apart from the fact that it is deprived from gettng to the place it will remain until just at the beginning of Judgement,and the family is not over burial anyway until burial is done.


With all of these in place, if Faweyinmi being a lawyer is so important, except for other things that we do not know, Muhammad is the Professor of Sharia Law! Is there a bigger lawyer, yet he was buried as quickly as possible. Muhammad was the most known and most charitable among mankind, and you can argue against it, thats your view, but he was buried just as quick as he died.


If anyone deserved the best of burial, it would have been Muhammad (AS) yet it was simple, not wasting money, time and emotion without causing any controversy.
