If match end like this now and apari win the league in may
We go see the same excuse not forgetting apari dropped points today
We weren’t supposed to lose today.

It’s little things like this that make us look like we are not serious. We suppose don finish this game since first half.

We weren’t serious at all.

We played rubbish today.

I need more goals for this match.

We need to over take Apari and his team in terms of GD.

Jesus na werey.

Even in the midst of kids he was still playing like an amateur, running and falling up and down without end put. Even Ethan scored before Gabi this season..😂

Califiori is sleek with his game. I like it.

Jorginho will be controlling everyone in the field as if he knows best and when it’s his turn to show it, him go Dey fumble 😂. That goal we conceded was as a result poor marking from him.

What I loved most about yesterdays game was when big Gabi entered, I saw him mentoring and guiding the other young center back, trying to tell him where to position himself.

He was also encouraging the goal keeper and building the teenagers confidence.

To me, that’s how a leader is supposed to be. I was really impressed with big Gabi.

Overall, it was a beautiful game and special shout out to Sterling for getting his first goal for us. I really want him to adapt to the team as quickly as possible.

What’s this I am hearing in the media that Premier League clubs are reporting Arsenal for involving the dark arts in their games of last season.

Nothing go make me laugh as to when I see say Burnley, West Ham and Chelsea Dey among the teams wey Dey complain.😂🤣

Apparently, them wanted us to knack them more akpako after the thrashing we gave them.

Honestly, I really don’t get all these complaints about our games off late. Tottenham lost 4-1 last season when they were a man down and a lot of people called their coach foolish for still playing high line despite being a man (or 2 down, I can’t remember).

Now, same people are complaining because we decided to be objective and pragmatic.

My point is, our haters are getting rattled left right and center, all though there are few objective people who keep their bias aside and see that Arsenal is one of the strongest team in the premier league at the moment.

We are no longer pussies any more and that threatens a lot of people. Period.

The only positive about this game is that we played dirty and frustrated the whole of Man city from Guardiola, to his players and even the fans.

Honestly, this draw feels like a win for Man City.

We should have held on till the final whistle.

Again, that Trosaard red was not worth it, but then again expect rival fans to gaslight us thinking we are just complaining. Honestly, it’s high time we start scrutinizing Michael Oliver decisions on the field. It’s fvcking unfair.

No I’m not ranting, that decision needs to be reviewed, even if I wasn’t an Arsenal fan, I would suggest the same.

Arteta is so afraid of losing that he is now adopting a very defensive approach against any decent side. It's only a matter of time before the fans begin to voice their concerns. Havertz should play upfront while Jesus drops deep and play as the AMF if he doesn't trust Nwaneri while Martinelli should settle for a bench role as he is out of form.

In attack, I think Saka should step up; he should transform into a modern-day winger with the propensity to drift into the AMF space and create chances rather than stay outside for the most part. I think that's one limitation in his game he needs to sort out.

This is just my honest take as a football fan.
I remember at some point suggesting that Saka should be deployed to play Odegaards role once in a while on this thread. To make him more versatile, he is becoming limited in his role.

Honestly, at this point, Martinelli needs to be sold.

His intelligence has regressed badly.

I’ve never seen Arteta so upset with his player like he did today.

We have to be smart and find a way to commit Tottenham to a foul because e sure me say them Dey plan the same thing for us.

Red card Dey this match otherwise the match go become boring.

Let Martinelli come off for sterling now now while Trosaard should come off for Jesus, I prefer Jesus to be supporting Hervertz than Trosaard.

Whatever Pires Opinion is, he is entitled to it being that he was once a winger himself.

However, I will take an effective Saka over Doku.

Doku with all his imagination can be very ineffective and frustrating to watch.

That one don turn to Portuguese Abou Diaby grin

We should just sell him to anybody that wants to buy and count our loss; It is obvious he has no future in a physically demanding league like EPL. If he can still be getting injured in the Portuguese league, then we should just give up on him.
When I first saw it, I was how the Fvck does he get injured without playing any competitive match.

All he does is to train and get injured.

Like even breeze fit injure the guy.

Injuries is part of football even though this is an unfortunate event, this is where manager comes to play
Now we will know if we regret not buying striker or not replacing the fringe players we let go off
It's time for our agba coach to tweak tactics, I don't see why we can't still beat spuds with what we have
I agree with you.

It’s an opportunity for the team to show their mental strength and for the coach to show his creativity.

I just don’t want any negativity about our fixtures.

Odegaards injury looked serious.

Hard luck to him. I feel sorry for him.

Man is a real hard worker. He has been unfortunate in his last couple of games. Getting kicked up and down.

How ever, we shouldn’t let this affect our objective for NLD.

We have to win it no matter what.

No be we deh set team sha.

He's an Arsenal player now, so I just have to support him. I believe Sterling will play a huge role in depth department
If Odegaard isn’t available, we could try playing Saka in that role why Sterling plays the right wing.

It would be nice exploring that option. It’s also an opportunity to improve on Sakas quality.

I just remembered that Kai incident in our match vs wolves and remembered that nothing happened to that wolves defender which to me is actually funny.

My point is, Arsenal needs to start analyzing referees like they analyze games.

There are some ref that would let any rubbish happen in the field and some that won’t.

We need to plan accordingly.

It doesn’t take away the fact that referees in England are inconsistent with their calls and it’s just unfortunate.

The Ref made a call, it was harsh because that was something another Ref would have cautioned both of them and move on.

I just like the fact that I’m not too eager about our transfers like I used to before.

Right now, I just want to let Arteta and Edu do their thing.

My own focus is Getting the premier league anyhow possible and even winning the Champions league. Na the standard wey I set for Arteta be that.

I can’t bother my head about our transfers, let Edu handle it, that’s why he is been paid good money.

My fears is letting someone like Anne Slot or Maresca winning the league before Arteta, honestly e go vex me and I will personally sanction his sack.

Let’s just fvcking get the job done in May. If them like make them blasczckowski, that one na their cup of tea.

Trosaard has earned that left wing. It shouldn’t be up for discussion. I don’t know what Arteta is thinking, placing the guy on the bench.

For now, I will rather have Trosaard than Martinelli starting our matches.

Partey has also been impressive today.

Last match na Saliba been Dey get brain fart, today na Gaberiel.

I no know why Aston Villa go turn Liverpool anytime we play them. Can’t we just destroy them once and for all? Why are we being shaky?

I support Arsenal and I believe wenger took the decision on behalf of all of us Arsenal fans by stopping Fabregas’ second coming .

Such players did not stay with the team when the team needed them, so it’s only right the club hierarchy deny them opportunity when they also need the club.

Fabregas didn’t want to come back because of his love for Arsenal , rather it was cos he didn’t get playing time at Barca like he had hoped to.

As far as I’m concerned nobody celebrates him more than we do RVP and the likes .
Fair enough. However, let’s not pretend that Arsenal weren’t on decline then, our ambition was just to mark attendance in Champions League by making top 4.

Baba saw an opportunity for personal/career achievement and took it.

It was not too personal as we would like to see it. We were on a regressive path with no clear outline on what our future goals were at the time.

Mind you, we did not only lose out on key players, we also lost some of our fan base, some of them Japa turn Barca and Man City fan.

Imagine someone like Fabregas playing with the likes of Chamakh, Bendtner and that lazy Ashavin. This was someone that controlled the midfield in a match like that of AC Milan who had exceptional midfielders.

My point is, Baba was an elite playmaker and wanted to play among player of his caliber.

I’m just looking at it from his perspective.

Wenger said we had Ozil so there was no room for Fab.

But aside that, the way fabregas forced move and the way Gundo left Man City are two different situations. If Gundo behaved like Fabregas, Pep would never have accepted him back and I think that's the main reason Wenger didn't accept Fab
Wenger was pissed at him then.

But come to look at it, even a club legend like Viera, I read somewhere that it’s not like he left on good terms, but we still celebrate him, and would somehow welcome his return, just like we did with TiTi. So why sanction Fabregas return? I get I might be sentimental because Fabregas was one of the players I loved at Arsenal back then, him, Rosicky, Hleb, and Nasri even though RVPs exit hurt me the most, I felt betrayed..LMAO!! So, I wouldn’t have accepted his return no matter what. But Fabregas was really loved at Arsenal, Baba could have been an all time Legend at the club.

The two situations are not one and same in any way at all.

Gundogan left city as a 32 year old who helped them win 5 EPL trophies , a champions league and several domestic cup titles . The tribute city gave him is still on their website ; in fact, they said he’s always welcome at city in the ending of their tribute to him.

Fabregas on the other hand left Arsenal as a 24 year old at a time we needed him the most. Our chief executive at the time Gazidis confirmed Fabregas practically refused to train just to force his way out of Arsenal . That is a player that joined us at age 16 and we gave him opportunity to transition to the first team at a very young age. A player that was willing to forfeit his €4m loyalty bonus just to leave the club.

I am glad Wenger blocked his move to rejoin the team at that time. Looking back now , I still believe Wenger took the right decision; I don’t support rewarding disloyal players at all.
Fair assessment and analysis.

However, could it be said that his beef was with Wenger and Not with Arsenal? Because, we (Arsenal) still celebrate him one way or the other, unlike RVP, Adebabayo and co..

No. Not in this case.

We would win it, hands down.

Even if it did not happen to any Arsenal player, I will still recommend such route to be taken.

That was an offense worth booking, no Ifs, no Buts.

I guess the win we had made the situation less intense and dramatic.
