Compared to last match, I was impressed with Leno today.

As for Pepe, this is the third consecutive match he is not impressing me, although today was better. As it stands now, he is better off coming from the bench till he gets his shit together.

Baba doesn't look serious or Ambitious to me, and this is someone heavy money was spent on, he is not even trying to live up to expectations.

Oga Willock was just strolling in the field today and I kept wondering why Arteta didn't substitute him.

I enjoyed today's match, even if it was just Carabao cup, at least, we didn't collect 'L' twice in one week from the same team. We were compact, organized and composed, except for the fact that our Attackers were in-effective.

I was impressed with Cebelos, Holding, Cedric and Gabriel. They were solid at the back. It seems Gabriel kind of inspire confidence in other defenders.

Overall, it was a good game.

In my opinion, both Xhaka and Mustafi improved under Arteta.

There was a time Xhaka played LCB which gave room for Bukayo to excel.

My point is, Xhaka is the type of player that provides balance and stability to the team. He isn't the best defensive midfielder out there, neither is he the best central midfielder, but I assure you, he is more of the type of player that controls and dictates the pace of the game. He is more like a mordern day Pirlo.

Mustafi on the hand was erratic and lacked confidence, but when he started playing with Luiz, who sadly can be more erratic than him, his game improved. My point is, Mustafi is the kind of player that needs strong people around him or good support system to bring out the best in him.

That is what Arteta has brought to this Arsenal team.

The environment is healthy and positive. Kudos to Arteta for that.

Lacazzete has been frustrating to watch offlate. He has been playing like an amateur striker/ make shift striker as if that's not his natural position.

The painful part is that Aubamablootclatyang had to sacrifice that position for him and he is still doing better than him.
