I’ve observed that these days, people are somehow squirmish to tough love. That is what Lokonga lacks, he doesn’t someone to massage his self esteem. In all honesty, I missed out the part Odegaard screamed at him, and at first I felt a bit sympathy for him, but then I remembered how I was number one person that wanted Pepe out of my team and thought why should I be sympathetic to Lokonga. I hated Pepe because he was weak and unintelligent. Baba frustrated me last season, there was one match against Newcastle or so that we had a counter attack so as to win the game naso baba begin dance Awilo with the ball, there and then, I figured people like this shouldn’t be in Arsenal if we want to win any silverware. In my opinion, Lokonga falls into the same category, he better ship in, or ship out. We don’t need cry babies here. This season is a war for us, we better drill the weak ones to step up for us. Simple.

Tierney used to be one of my favorite Arsenal player, now I feel he is regressing, maybe it’s a factor of watching Zichenko offering something else.

Honestly looking at Xhaka over the past few years he seem like a likable person . I think most players like him and he seem like a natural leader .

The only problem na him head wey dey always touch occasionally ( those occasions however usually hurt our team )

There is a reason Arteta likes him and am surprised most people don’t notice it. He seem to share almost the same personality as Arteta during his playing days; slow, cautious but very aggressive and strong willed.
And most at times, that aggressiveness can turn recklessness especially if it isn’t needed at that moment.
My point is, Arteta see himself in Xhaka hence the bias towards him. Xhaka also is the type of player that takes responsibility for the team which is a good leadership trait, that is, he is selfless.

IMO Xhaka might be an average midfielder but he is a leader on the pitch and that’s what I like about him. Same thing with Odegaard, the difference being that the later is more level headed and strategic.

Another line of Arguments loading. IMO he deserves it, but so does Odegaard. We go dey alright. Good sportsmanship from Xhaka.

I’ve always emphasized here on this thread on the need for us to get players with strong character and personality. Edu seems to veer on that part.

I’m optimistic this season, and I don’t mean that wengay kind of optimism. I mean like based on the crop of players we currently have, as well as the vision of the technical crew, I know we are really heading somewhere.

Bro ... times are hard... money to get by is precious and scarce to a growing number of people... many of them at the wedding. The groom knows that ... he is well off and doesn't need money to offset the wedding nor to help him in marriage.
